The Prophet ﷺ used to offer the Maghrib and ʿIsha' prayers together whenever he was in a hurry on a journey.

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ

When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in a state of hurry on a journey, he combined the sunset and 'Isha' prayers.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا عَجِلَ بِهِ السَّيْرُ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ

Nafi' reported that when Ibn 'Umar was in a state of hurry on a journey, he combined the sunset and 'Isha' prayers after the twilight had disappeared, and he would say that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in a state of hurry on a journey, he combined the sunset and 'Isha' prayers.

أَنْ يَغِيبَ الشَّفَقُ وَيَقُولُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that if the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in a hurry to travel, he would combine Maghrib and 'Isha'.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ

"If the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in a hurry to travel, or some emergency arose, he would combine Maghrib and 'Isha'."

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ أَوْ حَزَبَهُ أَمْرٌ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ

"I heard Az-Zuhri say: 'Salim told me that his father said: 'I saw the Prophet ﷺ, if he was in a hurry to travel, joining Maghrib and 'Isha'."

رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ

the Messenger of Allah joined Maghrib and Isha in Jam (Al-Muzdalifah).

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ بِجَمْعٍ

the Prophet joined Maghrib and Isha in Jam (Al-Muzdalifah).

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ بِجَمْعٍ

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ وَالْعِشَاءَ بِجَمْعٍ فَجَمَعَ بَيْنَهُمَا»

[AI] "He used to combine between the Maghrib and Isha prayers when the twilight disappeared. And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to combine between them when walking became difficult for him."

أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ إِذَا غَابَ الشَّفَقُ قَالَ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَهُمَا إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ

I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ combining the sunset and Isha' prayers when he was in a hurry on a journey. (Using translation from Muslim 703c)

عَنْ سَالِمٍعَنْ أَبِيهِ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ

[AI] Concerning Ibn Umar, whenever the night would approach him, he would combine Maghrib and Isha prayers after the disappearance of twilight, and he would say that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do the same when the night approached.

عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ كَانَ إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ بَعْدَمَا يَغِيبُ الشَّفَقُ وَيَقُولُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ جَمَعَ بَيْنَهُمَا

Whenever the Prophet ﷺ started a journey before noon, he used to delay the Zuhr prayer till the time of ʿAsr and then offer them together; and if the sun declined (at noon) he used to offer the Zuhr prayer and then ride (for the journey). (Using translation from Bukhārī 1110)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ هَاتَيْنِ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ فِي السَّفَرِ يَعْنِي الْمَغْرِبَ وَالْعِشَاءَ

‘Abd Allah bin ‘Umar said The apostle of Allaah ﷺ combined the sunset and the night prayers at Al Muzdalifah. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1926)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ بِالْمُزْدَلِفَةِ

The Prophet ﷺ offered the Maghrib and ʿIsha' prayers together at Jam' (i.e. Al-Muzdalifa) with a separate Iqama for each of them and did not offer any optional prayer in between them or after each of them. (Using translation from Bukhārī 1673)

جَمَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ بِجَمْعٍ

3 Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to join maghrib and isha together when it was urgent to travel."

قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا عَجِلَ بِهِ السَّيْرُ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ

[AI] This is how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to act when he was surprised by a journey or an expedient matter.

«هَكَذَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَفْعَلُ إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ أَوْ حَزَبَهُ أَمَرٌ»

[AI] "I was with the Prophet ﷺ in a gathering, then he combined Maghrib and Isha prayers."

«كُنْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِجَمْعٍ فَجَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ»

[AI] That the Prophet ﷺ combined Maghrib and Isha prayers by combining them.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ بِجَمْعٍ»

[AI] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when the journey became difficult, he would delay the Maghrib prayer until he combined it with the Isha prayer.

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ فِي السَّفَرِ أَخَّرَ الْمَغْرِبَ حَتَّى جَمَعَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ»

[AI] Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to combine the Maghrib and Isha prayers when he was traveling, after the disappearance of twilight by an hour.

«إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ بَعْدَ أَنْ يَغِيبَ الشَّفَقُ بِسَاعَةٍ»

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that if the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in a hurry to travel, he would combine Maghrib and 'Isha'. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 598)

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ»

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا عَجِلَ بِهِ السَّيْرُ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ

"كانَ النَّبِىُّ ﷺ إِذَا عَجِلَ بِهِ السَّيرُ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ".

"عَنْ أنَسٍ: أنَّ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ كَانَ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ المَغْرِبِ وَالعِشَاءِ في السَّفَرِ".

"كَانَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ إذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيرُ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ المَغْرِبِ والعِشَاءِ".
