[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to combine Maghrib and Isha prayers when he was on a journey, and sometimes he would delay them until a quarter of the night.  

أحمد:٥٥١٦حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى وَعُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ وَمُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ نَافِعٍعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ وَكَانَ فِي بَعْضِ حَدِيثِهِمَا إِلَى رُبُعِ اللَّيْلِ أَخَّرَهُمَا جَمِيعًا

Nafi' reported that when Ibn 'Umar was in a state of hurry on a journey, he combined the sunset and 'Isha' prayers after the twilight had disappeared, and he would say that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in a state of hurry on a journey, he combined the sunset and 'Isha' prayers.

nasai:598Qutaybah b. Saʿīd > Mālik > Nāfiʿ > Ibn ʿUmar

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that if the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in a hurry to travel, he would combine Maghrib and 'Isha'.  

النسائي:٥٩٨أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that if the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in a hurry to travel, he would combine Maghrib and 'Isha'. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 598)
