[Machine] "He used to combine between the Maghrib and Isha prayers when the twilight disappeared. And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to combine between them when walking became difficult for him."  

أحمد:٤٤٧٢حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَزْرَقُ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ إِذَا غَابَ الشَّفَقُ قَالَ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَهُمَا إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ

The Prophet ﷺ used to offer the Maghrib and ʿIsha' prayers together whenever he was in a hurry on a journey.  

البخاري:١١٠٦حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الزُّهْرِيَّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ  

muslim:703bMuḥammad b. al-Muthanná > Yaḥyá > ʿUbaydullāh > Nāfiʿ

Nafi' reported that when Ibn 'Umar was in a state of hurry on a journey, he combined the sunset and 'Isha' prayers after the twilight had disappeared, and he would say that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in a state of hurry on a journey, he combined the sunset and 'Isha' prayers.  

مسلم:٧٠٣bوَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ بَعْدَ

أَنْ يَغِيبَ الشَّفَقُ وَيَقُولُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ  

ahmad:5163Yaḥyá b. Saʿīd > ʿUbaydullāh > Nāfiʿ

[Machine] Concerning Ibn Umar, whenever the night would approach him, he would combine Maghrib and Isha prayers after the disappearance of twilight, and he would say that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do the same when the night approached.

عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ كَانَ إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ بَعْدَمَا يَغِيبُ الشَّفَقُ وَيَقُولُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ جَمَعَ بَيْنَهُمَا  

darimi:1558Muḥammad b. Yūsuf > Ibn ʿUyaynah > al-Zuhrī > Sālim > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that if the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in a hurry to travel, he would combine Maghrib and 'Isha'. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 598)
