[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ would combine Maghrib and Isha prayers when expedited by travel.  

البيهقي:٥٥١٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا عَجِلَ بِهِ السَّيْرُ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ  

رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَحْيَى 5512 حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْعَلَوِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو حَامِدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الذُّهْلِيُّ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ أَسْرَعَ السَّيْرَ فَجَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ فَسَأَلْتُ نَافِعًا فَقَالَ بَعْدَمَا غَابَ الشَّفَقُ بِسَاعَةٍ وَقَالَ إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ

3 Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to join maghrib and isha together when it was urgent to travel."
