[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Fever is from the heat of Hell, so extinguish it with water." Naafi' said, Abdullah bin Umar used to say: "O Allah, remove from us the impurity."  

البيهقي:١٠٦٩أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ثنا هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَيْلِيُّ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَطْفِئُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ قَالَ نَافِعٌ وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ اللهُمَّ أَذْهِبْ عَنَّا الرِّجْزَ  

رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ وَرَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ وَرَوَتْهُ عَائِشَةُ وَأَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ الصِّدِّيقِ وَرَوَاهُ رَافِعُ بْنُ خَدِيجٍ كُلُّهُمْ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ
