[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever eats anything from this tree should not come close to us or pray with us."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ شَيْئًا فَلَا يَقْرَبَنَّ أَوْ لَا يُصَلِّيَنَّ مَعَنَا

A man asked Anas, "What did you hear from the Prophet ﷺ about garlic?" He said, "The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Whoever has eaten this plant should neither come near us nor pray with us."

Anas was asked about the garlic; he stated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had said: He who eats of this plant (garlic) should not approach us and pray along with us.

The Prophet ﷺ said: He who eats from this plant should not come near the mosques.

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Whoever eats anything from this plant, let him not come to the mosque.’”  

ابن ماجة:١٠١٦حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ الْمَكِّيُّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ شَيْئًا فَلاَ يَأْتِيَنَّ الْمَسْجِدَ  

malik:1-30Yaḥyá > Mālik > Ibn Shihāb > Saʿīd b. al-Musayyab

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Said ibn al- Musayyab that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Anyone who eats this plant should not come near our mosques. The smell of the garlic will offend us."  

مالك:١-٣٠حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ فَلاَ يَقْرُبْ مَسَاجِدَنَا يُؤْذِينَا بِرِيحِ الثُّومِ  

الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ خَبَّابٍ مِنْ سَاكِنِي الْكُوفَةِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever eats from this evil tree should stay away from our mosque." I mean garlic.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ الْخَبِيثَةِ فَلَا يَقْرَبَنَّ مَسْجِدِنَا» أَعْنِي الثَّوْمَ

الطبراني:١٢٢٥حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصِّينِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ قَالُوا ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ

عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَكَانَتْ لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْبَقْلَةِ فَلَا يَقْرَبَنَّ مَسْجِدِنَا يَعْنِي الثُّومَ»
