[Machine] Al-Qurathi reported that Abu Qatadah had a debt from a man who used to come to him to collect it. Abu Qatadah would hide from him. One day, a young boy came out, and the man asked him about Abu Qatadah. The boy replied, "Yes, he is in the house eating pork." The man then called out to him, saying, "O so-and-so, come out, for I have been informed that you are here." Abu Qatadah went out to him, and the man asked, "What keeps you away from me?" Abu Qatadah replied, "I am in debt and have nothing to give you." The man said, "By Allah, are you in debt?" Abu Qatadah answered, "Yes." Abu Qatadah then cried and said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Whoever relieves his debtor, or reduces his debt for him, will be in the shade of the Throne on the Day of Resurrection.'"
[Machine] It is said that he was a servant of Abu Qatadah, but he was not a servant who used to talk about Abu Qatadah. They asked the Prophet ﷺ about a wild donkey that Abu Qatadah had caught while he was in a state of Ihram. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Can you keep anything from it?" Shu'bah said, "I then asked him again, and he said, 'Can you keep anything from it?' He said, 'Eat it.' So I asked Shu'bah about the meaning of his statement 'There is no harm in it.' He said, 'Yes.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do you recite behind me?" They said, "Yes." He said, "Then do not do so except with the Mother of the Book."
[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, if I am killed in the way of Allah, patiently expecting reward, seeking His pleasure, not retreating or turning away, will Allah forgive my sins?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "If you are killed in the way of Allah, patiently expecting reward, seeking His pleasure, not retreating or turning away, Allah will forgive your sins." Then the man repeated his question, "O Messenger of Allah, if I am killed in the way of Allah, will Allah forgive my sins?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "If you are killed in the way of Allah, patiently expecting reward, seeking His pleasure, not retreating or turning away, Allah will forgive your sins except for the debt." This is what Jibril (Angel Gabriel) informed me.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would recite in the first two rak'ahs of the noon and afternoon prayers the opening chapter of the Book and another surah. He would sometimes recite loud enough to make audible to us the verse and would recite in the last two rak'ahs Surat al-Faitiha (only). (Using translation from Muslim 451b)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ablution, then he prayed on the land of Sa'd, at the origin of Al-Harra, near the houses of As-Suqiya. Then he said: "O Allah, Ibrahim is Your beloved, Your servant, and Your prophet. He called upon You for the people of Makkah, and I am Muhammad, Your servant, Your prophet, and Your messenger. I call upon You for the people of Madinah just as Ibrahim called upon You for the people of Makkah. We plead with You to bless their measurements, their crops, and their fruits. O Allah, make us love Madinah as You made us love Makkah, and remove all plagues and epidemics from it. O Allah, I have already declared as sacred what is between its two lava plains, just as Ibrahim declared as sacred by his tongue the Sacred House (in Makkah)."

[Machine] Abu Qatadah came out to us while we were saying "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said this and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said that." So he said, "The faces have changed, do you know what you are saying? I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Whoever attributes to me what I have not said should take his seat in hellfire.' A'ffan said, 'And Muhammad ibn Ka'b also said to me...'".

This tradition has also been narrated on the authority of ‘A’ishah through a different chain. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 99)
I heard the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) say: A good vision comes from Allah and a dream (hulm) from the devil, so when one of you sees what he dislikes, he must spit on his left (three times), and seek refuge in Allah from its evil. It will then not harm him. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 5021)

[Machine] A man from among us passed away, so we went to the Prophet ﷺ to offer the prayer for him. The Prophet asked, "Did he leave anything behind?" They replied, "No, by Allah, he did not leave anything behind." The Prophet then asked, "Did he have any debts?" They replied, "Yes, he owed eighteen dirhams." The Prophet then asked, "Did he leave anything to fulfill his debts?" They replied, "No, by Allah, he did not leave anything to fulfill his debts." The Prophet said, "Then you pray for him." Abu Qatada asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what if I settle his debts, should I pray for him?" The Prophet answered, "If you settle his debts, then you may pray for him." Abu Qatada settled the man's debts and asked the Prophet, "Have I fulfilled what was upon him?" The Prophet replied, "Yes." Then he called for the man and offered the prayer for him.
[Machine] Narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in the two Rak'ahs of Dhuhr prayer Al-Fatiha and a Surah, and he would prolong the recitation in the first two Rak'ahs. And in Asr prayer, he would do the same and would sometimes recite an Ayah out loud for us.
12.70 [Machine] Atiya Al Qarzi
[Machine] I was presented to the Prophet (PBUH) on the day of Quraizah, and they complained about me. So the Prophet (PBUH) ordered them to observe if anything would grow on me afterwards. They observed but did not find that anything had grown on me, so he left me and joined me with the captives.
[Machine] Attiyah heard Saad saying, "I was in a day when Saad ruled and they couldn't find me growing up, so here I am amongst you."
12.71 [Machine] Sufyan bin Al-Muattal Al-Sulami
[Machine] He asked the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Prophet of Allah, I ask you about something that you know of and I am ignorant of, a specific time during the day when prayer is disliked." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When you pray Fajr, refrain from praying until the sun rises. When it rises, then pray. For indeed, prayer during that time is forbidden and accepted until it reaches the height of a spear. Once it reaches the height of a spear, then indeed Hellfire is opened and its gates are opened until it moves away from your right eyebrow. Once it moves away from your right eyebrow, then pray. For indeed, prayer during that time is forbidden and accepted until you perform Asr prayer."
[Machine] "We went out as pilgrims and when we were in Arj, suddenly we came across a snake that was agitated. It did not take long before it died. So a man took out a piece of cloth from his garment, wrapped the snake in it, buried it, and took a stone to mark the grave. When we arrived in Makkah and were at the Grand Mosque, a person approached us and asked, 'Who among you is the companion of Amr ibn Jabir?' We replied that we did not know him. Then he asked, 'Who among you is the companion of the jinn?' We pointed towards him. The person said, 'May Allah reward you, as he was one of the last nine who visited the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was listening to the Quran.'"

[Machine] I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey, and I saw him offering the night prayer. He performed the last prayer of Isha, then went to sleep. When it was half of the night, he woke up and recited the last ten verses of Surah Al Imran, then performed ablution and prayed two units of voluntary prayer. I do not know whether his standing, bowing, or prostration was longer. Then he went back to sleep, and when he woke up, he recited the verses again, performed ablution, and prayed two units of voluntary prayer. I do not know whether his standing, bowing, or prostration was longer. Then he went back to sleep, and when he woke up, he did the same. He continued doing this until he prayed eleven units of voluntary prayer.

12.72 [Machine] Abdullah ibn Khubayb
"It was raining and dark, and we were waiting for the Messenger of Allah [SAW] to lead us in prayer. Then the Messenger of Allah [SAW] came out to lead us in prayer and he said: 'Say.' I said: 'What should I say?' He said: 'Say: He is Allah, (the) One and Al-Mu'awwadhatain in the evening and in the morning, three times, and that will suffice you against everything.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5428)
12.73 [Machine] Al-Harith ibn Aqish
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There are no two Muslims who have four children and Allah does not admit them to Paradise." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, what about three?" He said, "Even three." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, what about two?" He said, "Even two." And indeed, among my nation there are those who will be greatly exposed to the Fire until one of its corners becomes their abode. And indeed, among my nation there are those whose intercession will cause more people to enter Paradise than those who suffer harm."
12.74 [Machine] Worship of Ibn As-Saamit
Receive my teachings, receive my teachings. Allah has appointed a way for those women. If the parties have been married, they shall receive a hundred lashes and stoned to death. If the parties are unmarried, they shall receive a hundred lashes and banished for a year. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4415)
[Machine] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "Seek it in the ninth, seventh, and fifth nights, meaning the Night of Decree."
[Machine] Worship bin Saamit said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ took a pledge from us, just as he took a pledge from the women, to not associate anything with Allah, to not steal, to not commit adultery, to not kill our children, to not harm one another, to not disobey me in that which is known. Whoever among you commits any of these sins, the punishment for him will be hastened, and it will serve as an expiation for him. But if the punishment is delayed, then his matter is left to Allah, who will either punish him or have mercy on him, as He wishes.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ treated us as he treated women or as he treated people, and he mentioned its meaning.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed with us and recited, and the recitation became difficult for him. When he finished, he said, "Do you recite?" We said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "Do not recite except with the Opening of the Book (Surah Al-Fatiha), for there is no prayer without it."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us wanting to inform us about the Night of Qadr (Decree). Two men began quarreling, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "I came out wanting to inform you about the Night of Qadr, but two men quarreled, so it was raised up (knowledge of it) and it may be better for you. So seek it on the ninth, or the seventh, or the fifth night."
