29. Chapter of Yā (Male) (2/3)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Surely, the most beloved and closest of you to me in the Hereafter will be the ones with the best conduct. And indeed, the most disliked and furthest of you from me in the Hereafter will be the ones with the worst conduct – the ones who talk excessively, show off, and are arrogant."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, Allah has ordained obligatory acts, so do not neglect them, and He has forbidden certain things, so do not violate them, and He has set limits, so do not exceed them, and He has overlooked some matters without forgetting, so do not try to find them."
29.28 [Machine] Makhoul from Abu Tha'labah
that the Prophet ﷺ said, “Allah ˹audits˺ his servants during the night of the middle of ˹month of ˺ Shaʿbān then forgives the Believers and ˹purposefully˺ overlooks the disbelievers and leaves the people of hate in their hatefulness until they let go of it."

[Machine] I was with the Prophet ﷺ and I saw three strange things from him. He said: "We descended to a land with many trees, so he told me to go to the two trees and tell them that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ orders them to gather." So I went to them and said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ orders you to gather." So they gathered. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ fulfilled his need and said, "Go and tell them to separate." So I said to them, "Separate." And they separated. Then a woman came with a boy and said, "O Messenger of Allah, this boy has epilepsy seven times in a month." He said, "Bring him closer to me." Then he put his saliva in his mouth and said, "Go out, enemy of Allah. I am the Messenger of Allah." Then he said to her, "When you return, inform me of what happens." So when she returned, she greeted him with two young sheep and some fat and raisins. He said to me, "Take one of the young sheep and whatever else she has." She said, "O Messenger of Allah, I did not see anything from him." He said, "Then bring him a camel." So he saw that its eyes were watering and he said, "Whose camel is this?" They said, "It belongs to the family of so and so." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent a message to them saying, "What is wrong with this camel that it is complaining about you?" They said, "We had made it a sacrificial animal, but it grew old, so we wanted to slaughter it." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Leave it with the camels." And they left it.

[Machine] Narrated by Abdullah bin Ya'la bin Murrah al-Thaqafi from his father who said: "One day, I applied collyrium to my eyes and then I presented myself to the Prophet ﷺ and offered my hand to him. I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, send peace and blessings upon me.' He asked, 'What is this on your hand?' I replied, 'I have applied collyrium to my eyes.' Then I said, 'I purified myself and then adorned myself.' He asked, 'Do you have a wife?' I replied, 'No.' He asked, 'Do you have a mistress?' I replied, 'No.' He said, 'Then go and wash it off, and wash it three times.'"
29.31 [Machine] 'Amr ibn Dinar, from Ibn Ya'la, from his father.
[Machine] "We attended a prescribed prayer while being with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ allowed us to take the lead. I asked Abu Sahl what prompted him to do so, and he said the place was narrow."
[Machine] "That the Prophet ﷺ saw on himself a spot of impurity, so he said, 'Wash this off from you.'"
[Machine] The Prophet (PBUH) saw me while I was dressed up and he said, "O Ya'la, do you have a wife?" I replied, "No." He said, "Then go and wash yourself, then wash yourself again, and then wash yourself again and do not repeat it until this hour." So, I went and washed myself, then washed myself again, and then washed myself again, and I did not repeat it until that hour.
[Machine] He came to the Prophet ﷺ with a yellowish color from saffron, so the Prophet ﷺ told him to wash it off and then wash it again, and not to repeat it. So he washed it off and did not repeat it.
[Machine] I passed by the Prophet ﷺ while I was in a state of major ritual impurity, and he said, "O Ya'la, do you have a wife?" I replied, "No." He then said, "Go and perform ritual ablution, then repeat it, then repeat it again, and do not perform any further actions." So, I performed the ritual ablution, then repeated it, then repeated it again, and I did not perform any further actions.
"I passed by the Messenger of Allah [SAW] and I was wearing Khaluq. He said: 'O Ya'la, do you have a wife?' I said: 'No.' He said: 'Go and wash it off, then wash it off, then wash it off, and do not put it on again.' So I went and washed it off, then washed it off, then washed it off, and I did not put it on again." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5125)
29.32 [Machine] Abdullah bin Hafs bin Abi Aqil and his name has been disputed, about Ya'la bin Murrah
[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in prayer and I went to my sister, so I smeared my face with something from the creation. When the Prophet ﷺ passed, he wiped their faces and left me. It was said, "The Prophet ﷺ left you because of the substance that is on your face." So I went to a well of the wells of the city and fell into it. When the next prayer came, I came to him and he wiped my face. Then he said, "The boy brought back the goodness of his religion."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever takes something from the earth unlawfully, will come on the Day of Judgment carrying its dust to the gathering place."

[Machine] I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: "Whoever wrongs someone to the extent of a handspan, Allah will make him accountable to bring it on the Day of Resurrection until he reaches the end of seven earths, and he will be encircled on the Day of Judgment until the matter is decided among the people."

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ who said: "Whoever finds a lost item, like a small piece of clothing or its equivalent, let him announce it for three days. And whoever finds more than that, let him announce it for six days. If the owner comes forward, then he should return it to him. Otherwise, he should give it in charity. If the owner comes forward later on, then let him inform him."
[Machine] We went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and we were invited to a meal. Suddenly, Al-Hussein began playing on the road. The Prophet ﷺ hurried ahead of the people, opened his arms, and allowed Al-Hussein to pass back and forth between his hands, making him laugh. Then he took him in his arms, placed one hand on his chin and the other between his head and ears, and then embraced and kissed him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Hussein is from me and I am from him. Allah loves those who love Hussein. Al-Hasan and Al-Hussein are the leaders of the youth of Paradise."
[Machine] "He (the Prophet) informed Ya'la bin Murrah that they went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to a meal they were invited to. Then they saw Husain playing with some children on the road. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ faced him in front of the people and intertwined his hands. The child fell down here and there, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ made him laugh until he took him and placed one hand under his chin and the other on top of his head. Then he followed him, kissed him, and said, "Husain is from me and I am from Husain. Allah loves whoever loves Husain. Husain is a son of the descendants."

[Machine] I was with the Prophet ﷺ on a journey, and he went away to relieve himself. Two dark-complexioned women came and joined each other. The tree of Talhah or Sumrah came, and it circled around them and returned to its place. Then a camel came dragging its tether along the ground until it became wet with the tears around it. He said to his companions, "Do you know what this camel is saying?" They said, "What is it saying?" He said, "Its people wanted to slaughter it, so it called out for help. So it was sent back to me," He said, "Will one of you undertake to do good to it?" They said, "Of course, by Allah, we will always honor it." Then he passed by two graves in which two people were being punished. He said, "They are being punished, but the sins for which they are being punished are not significant." Then he took two fresh moist date-palm stalks and placed them on their graves. He said, "Perhaps their torment will be lightened as long as these date-palm stalks remain moist."

Then she gave birth, and his mother carried the newborn to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, this newborn has been born while his father is in the cavalry. So name him." So the Prophet ﷺ took him, placed his hand on him, and said, "O Allah, increase their men and decrease their days, and do not make them dependent or leave their youth vulnerable." Then he named him Musri, for he was quick in accepting Islam.

Then he said, "Who is this with you, O Abu Rumbah?" So I said, "My son." He said, "Indeed, he does not bring goodness to you, nor do you bring goodness to him." So I looked and saw a scar on his shoulder like the size of a camel's hump or a pigeon's egg. So I said, "Shall I treat it for you with this (medicine)? I am from a household that provides treatment." He said, "Let the one who placed it on me treat it."

[Machine] I approached the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was delivering a sermon saying, "The hand of the giver is superior. Your mother and father, then your sister and brother, then your close relatives, and then your close relatives." Then, some people from the Banu Yarbua came and said, "O Messenger of Allah, the people of Banu Yarbua have killed so-and-so." He said, "One life should not be avenged by another."
[Machine] I went to the Prophet ﷺ , and he had hair that reached his shoulders, dyed with henna and katam.
[Machine] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform the prayer, and then he greeted to his right side and to his left side until we saw the whiteness of his cheeks.
29.49 [Machine] The heading is: "Who is named Yathribi and is also known as Yathribi ibn Awf Abi Rimthah Al-Taymi Taym Al-Rabab? There is a disagreement about his name, as some say it is Habib ibn Habban ibn Amir ibn Abd Qais, others say it is Habban ibn Wahb, and others say it is Rifaa'ah ibn Yathribi.

[Machine] There was an imam who led us in prayer, his name was Abu Rimthah. During our Asr prayer, there was a man with us who had witnessed the first Takbeer (the saying of "Allahu Akbar" to initiate the prayer). After Abu Rimthah finished leading the prayer and left, the man stood up to intercede. Abu Rimthah noticed and said, "I prayed this prayer with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and Abu Bakr and Umar were standing in the front row to his right." The man had also witnessed the first Takbeer and had prayed behind the Prophet ﷺ , then he gave the salutations from the right and left sides until we could see his cheeks turn red, then he straightened himself and faced the people. The man who had witnessed the first Takbeer of the prayer stood up to intercede, and Umar leapt towards him, grabbing him by the shoulders and shaking him, then he said, "Sit down, for the people of the book will not be destroyed except for neglecting their prayer." The Prophet ﷺ raised his gaze towards him and said, "May Allah guide you, O son of Al-Khattab."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ summoned me, Yusuf, and he made me sit in his chamber and he wiped over my head.
