We were forbidden that a town dweller should sell goods of a desert dweller.

أَنْ يَبِيعَ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ

The Prophet ﷺ forbade the meeting (of caravans) on the way and the selling of goods by an inhabitant of the town on behalf of a desert dweller.

نَهَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَنِ التَّلَقِّي وَأَنْ يَبِيعَ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ

That the Prophet ﷺ had said to her, "ʿAbdullah is a pious man."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَهَا إِنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ رَجُلٌ صَالِحٌ

We were forbidden that a townsman should sell for a man of the desert.

عَنْ أَنْ يَبِيعَ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ

The Prophet ﷺ said: A townsman must not sell for a man from the desert, even if he is his brother or father. Abu Dawud said: Anas b. Malik said: It was said: A townsman must not sell for a man from the desert. This phrase carries a broad meaning. It means that the (the townsman) must not sell anything for him or buy anything for him.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَبِيعُ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ وَإِنْ كَانَ أَخَاهُ أَوْ أَبَاهُ

"It was forbidden to us for a town-dweller to sell for a desert-dweller." (Sahih )

أَنْ يَبِيعَ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ

"A City-dweller should not sell for a Bedouin."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَبِيعُ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ

“Labbaika bi-‘Umratin wa hajjatin [Here I am (O Allah), for ‘Umrah and Hajj].”

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَبَّيْكَ بِعُمْرَةٍ وَحَجَّةٍ

[AI] "About Ubaydah, similar to him."

عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ مِثْلَهُ

“Labbaika bi-‘Umratin wa hajjatin [Here I am (O Allah), for ‘Umrah and Hajj].” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2969)

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَبَّيْكَ بِعُمْرَةٍ وَحَجٍّ»

[AI] "From Abdullah, similar to him."

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] The translation is: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ , indeed Abdullah, indeed Abdullah."

رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ إِنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ

[AI] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ, "A seller should not sell to a buyer who is present for someone else."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ لَا يَبِيعُ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ

"A City-dweller should not sell for a Bedouin." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2175)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَبِعْ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "No town-dweller should sell for a bedouin. Do not practice Najsh (i.e. Do not offer a high price for a thing which you do not want to buy, in order to deceive the people). No Muslim should offer more for a thing already bought by his Muslim brother, nor should he demand the hand of a girl already engaged to another Muslim. A Muslim woman shall not try to bring about The divorce of her sister (i.e. another Muslim woman) in order to take her place herself." (Using translation from Bukhārī 2723)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَبِيعُ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ heard the call of "Labbaik" in the open desert, responding to it declaring "Labbaik" for both Umrah and Hajj together.

سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يُلَبِّي بِالْبَيْدَاءِ لَبَّيْكَ بِعُمْرَةٍ وَحَجَّةٍ مَعًا

“Labbaika bi-‘Umratin wa hajjatin [Here I am (O Allah), for ‘Umrah and Hajj].” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2969)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَبَّيْكَ بعُمْرَةٍ وَحَجَّةٍ مَعًا

[AI] "The Prophet ﷺ said to him, 'O my son.'"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَهُ يَا بُنَيَّ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Allah said: 'Do not take My servants as idols.'"

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ قَالَ اللهُ لَا تُمَثِّلُوا بِعِبَادِي

[AI] "From Abdullah like him."

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مِثْلَهُ

“Labbaika bi-‘Umratin wa hajjatin [Here I am (O Allah), for ‘Umrah and Hajj].” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2969)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَبَّيْكَ بِحَجَّةٍ وَعُمْرَةٍ مَعًا»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "O Abu Abdullah."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَهُ «يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ»

[AI] And it is said "Abu Abdullah."

وَيُقَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ»

[AI] He heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "Here I am responding to your call, performing Umrah and Hajj."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَبَّيْكَ عَمْرَةً وَحَجًّا»

This hadith has been narrated on the authority 'Abdullah through another chain of transmitters. (Using translation from Muslim 2425b)

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بِمِثْلِهِ

أَنَّ النَّبيَّ ﷺ قَال لاَ يَبِعْ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ

أَنْ يَبِيعَ حاضر لباد

أَنْ يَبِيعَ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ

عن أبي هريرة ؓ وابن عمر ؓ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قال لا تلقوا الجلب ولا يبع حاضر لباد

[AI] I heard the Prophet ﷺ say during his talbiyah, "Here I am, responding to your call for Hajj and Umrah together."

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ فِي تَلْبِيَتَهِ «لَبَّيْكَ بِحَجَّةٍ وَعُمْرَةٍ مَعًا»

The Prophet ﷺ said, "No town-dweller should sell for a bedouin. Do not practice Najsh (i.e. Do not offer a high price for a thing which you do not want to buy, in order to deceive the people). No Muslim should offer more for a thing already bought by his Muslim brother, nor should he demand the hand of a girl already engaged to another Muslim. عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَبِعْ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "O Allah, forgive the servant of Al-Qais three times."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِعَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ ثَلَاثًا»

The Prophet ﷺ said: "Allahumma sqina (O Allah, give us rain)." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1516)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ اسْقِنَا»

The Prophet ﷺ said, "No town-dweller should sell for a bedouin. Do not practice Najsh (i.e. Do not offer a high price for a thing which you do not want to buy, in order to deceive the people). عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَبِعْ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ»

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah said, 'I am to my slave as he thinks of Me, (i.e. I am able to do for him what he thinks I can do for him). (See Hadith No. 502) (Using translation from Bukhārī 7505)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ قَالَ اللهُ «أَنَا عِنْدَ ظَنِّ عَبْدِي بِي»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Do not make images of the servants of Allah."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا تُمَثِّلُوا بِعِبَادِ اللهِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not make idols of the servants of Allah."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تُمَثِّلُوا بِعِبَادِ اللهِ

[AI] "O Messenger of Allah, where is Abdullah? Where is Abdullah?"

رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَيْنَ عَبْدُ اللهِ؟ أَيْنَ عَبْدُ اللهِ؟

The Prophet ﷺ said: A townsman must not sell for a man from the desert, even if he is his brother or father. Abu Dawud said: Anas b. Malik said: It was said: A townsman must not sell for a man from the desert. This phrase carries a broad meaning. عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَبِيعُ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ وَإنْ كَانَ أَخَاهُ أَوْ أَبَاهُ

"لاَ تُمَثِّلُوا بِعِبَادِ الله".

"لا يَبِيع حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ".

"لا يَبِيعَنَّ حاضرٌ لِبَادٍ".

"عن عمر قال: لَا يَبعْ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ".

" عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ يَقُولُ لَبَّيْكَ بِحَجَّةٍ وَعُمْرَةٍ مَعًا ".
