tabarani:18915Muḥammad b. Isḥāq b. Rāhawayh from my father > ʿAmr b. Muḥammad al-ʿAnqazī > Sharīk > Abū al-Jūwayriyah Wāsmuh Ḥiṭṭān b. Khufāf > Maʿn b. Yazīd

[Machine] "My father, Yazid, had gone out with some dinars intending to give them in charity. He handed them to me and said, 'Give them to a man from the people of the mosque.' So I gave them to someone else. Then I went to my father and informed him. He said, 'That is not what I intended.' So I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and disputed with him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, 'O Ma'n, what did you take?' And he said to my father, 'O Yazid, what did you intend?'"

tabarani:18916ʿAlī b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz > Abū Ḥudhayfah > Saʿīd b. al-Sāʾib > Abīh al-Sāʾib b. Yasār > Yazīd b. ʿĀmir al-Suwāʾī

[Machine] When it was revealed to the Muslims on the Day of Hunayn, the disbelievers followed them. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ took a handful of earth and threw it at their faces, saying, "Turn your faces away!" So none of us met his brother except that he complained of dust and wiped his eyes.

tabarani:18917Yazīd b. ʿĀmir And Kān Shahid Ḥunayn Maʿ al-Mushrikīn Thum Aslam > Saʾalnāh

[Machine] "And about Yazid ibn 'Amir, he was present at Hunayn with the polytheists, then he embraced Islam. We asked him about the fear that Allah cast into their hearts on the Day of Hunayn, how was it? So he took a pebble and threw it far away and said, 'We used to find something like that in the depths of our hearts.'"
