2. Chapter of Alif (Male) (1/13)
[Machine] I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "Whoever swears an oath on a right of forbearance and with it takes the wealth of a Muslim, he will meet Allah with His anger upon him. Allah will forgive him or punish him."
“I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a delegation from Kindah, and they thought that I was the best of them. I said: 'O Messenger of Allah ﷺ are you not from among us?' He said: 'We are the tribe of Banu Nadr bin Kinanah, and we do not attribute ourselves to our mother and we do not deny our forefathers.'”He said: “Ash'ath bin Qais used to say: 'If any man is brought to me who suggests that a man from Quraish does not belong to Nadr bin Kinanah, I would carry out the legal punishment (for slander) on him.'” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2612)
[Machine] "He came to the Prophet ﷺ as part of the delegation of Kindah, and the Prophet ﷺ asked him, 'Do you have any children?' He replied, 'I only have one child who was born to me to serve you, and if I could, I would have loved to have him take your place.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Do not say that, for they are the delight of the eyes and a reward when they pass away. And if you were to say that, then they would become stingy, sad, and upset.'"
[Machine] I said to the Prophet ﷺ , "I was born from the daughter of Jamd bin Wili'ah al-Kindi and I wished that we had a vessel of Tharid (a kind of food)." He responded, "Indeed, children are stingy, cowardly, and sorrowful."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "I am grateful to Allah and I am grateful to you."
[Machine] And he said, "By God, I did not disbelieve, but this man married his sister to me. If we were in our country, we would have had a different feast than this. Oh people of the city, sacrifice and eat, and oh owners of camels, come and take their meat."
[Machine] I had a debt with a man from Kindah and I used to dispute with him during the pre-dawn prayer. The Fajr prayer caught up with me in the Ash'ath Mosque, so I prayed. When the imam finished the prayer, he placed a robe, a pair of shoes, and five hundred dirhams in front of each person. I said, "I am not from the people of this mosque." He said, "Even if you are not from the people of this mosque." I asked, "What is this for?" They said, "Ash'ath ibn Qays has arrived from Makkah."
[Machine] "What is wrong with you and him, O scruffy one? By Allah, if you were to train with a servant from Thaqif, your hair would stand on end!" It was said to him, "O Commander of the Faithful, who is the servant from Thaqif?" He said, "He is a boy who leads them, and there will not be a household among the Arabs except that he will bring them humiliation." It was asked, "How many does he possess?" He said, "Twenty if he reaches that number."
[Machine] "Muhammad bin Salam, honor is considered from the time before the Prophet ﷺ until the time of the Prophet ﷺ. It is connected to being in Islam. The house of Yemen in Safaa, near the mountain of Aisha bin Qais, and its horsemen are from the tribe of Zubaid. Its leader is Amr bin Ma'd Yakrib, and its poet is Imru al-Qays from Kindah, and there is no disagreement in this."

[Machine] Why have you restrained me, O Commander of the Faithful? You know that their companion, Ali, came to us and we filled the air with lies. Ibn Abbas said, "Do you think I insult you because of Ali ibn Abi Talib?" He said, "No Arab is better than me." Ibn Abbas said, "Abd Mahra killed your grandfather and stabbed your mother’s womb." He said, "Don't you listen to what the Commander of the Faithful says to me?" He said, "You started it."
[Machine] "Kannani Rasool Allahi, salla Allah alaihi wa sallam, bi Abi Hamzah."
This translates to:
"The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to call me by the name of Abu Hamzah."

[Machine] "I was serving the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while I was a young boy," he said, "and he would ask me to do a certain task which I would avoid."
[Machine] I saw Anas ibn Malik with white hair and beard, dyeing his hair with henna.
[Machine] "I saw Anas ibn Malik dyeing his hair with henna."
[Machine] And he said: "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has prayed for me."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to say to me, "O one with two ears."
[Machine] "I saw Anas bin Malik who had touched his arms with a natural whiteness."
[Machine] "I saw Anas bin Malik wearing a worn-out Khazz cloak with patched sleeves, and his turban was black. He had a white streak at the back of his head, dyed with saffron."
[Machine] "I saw Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, walking around the Kaaba with his sons, carrying them on their shoulders while they had their teeth tied with gold."
[Machine] "He saw Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri and Jabir Ibn Abdullah, Abdul Allah Ibn Umar, Salamah Ibn Al-Akwa', Abu Usaid Al-Badri, Rifa'a Ibn Khadeej, and Anas Ibn Malik. They were trimming their mustaches and shaving their beards but leaving the hair on the sides."
[Machine] "I saw Anas ibn Malik leaning on a silver-handled cane."
[Machine] "I accompanied my grandfather Anas ibn Malik for thirty years and I never saw him drink wine."
[Machine] Anas' wine was sweet, causing the lips to stick together.
[Machine] "Anas ibn Malik had a servant boy who roasted meat for him, cooked two dishes for him, baked bread for him, and kneaded dough with butter for him."
[Machine] "That Anas ibn Malik, whenever he finished reciting the Quran, would gather his family and children and supplicate for them."
[Machine] Regarding fasting before his death, he fasted for a year and broke his fast by feeding a poor person every day.
[Machine] "I performed Hajj with Anas ibn Malik and I saw him circumambulating the Kaaba when he descended from the hill when he saw the houses of Mecca."
[Machine] Anas used to hasten breaking the fast and not wait for the call to prayer.
[Machine] So we heard him recite, "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High."
[Machine] Anas used to sit and a bed was laid for him to sit on. He would hold his son between his hands and play with him. One day, he came out while we were playing and said, "O my sons! How bad what you throw is!" Then he took something and threw it, and it did not miss the target.
[Machine] "We accompanied Anas from Kufa until we reached Atat. We spent the night there while the ground was muddy and there was water. He prayed the obligatory prayer on his mount and then said, 'I have never prayed the obligatory prayer on my mount before today.'"
[Machine] "I went out with Anas to the land of Baythaq Sireen until we reached the Tigris River. When noon came, we found a person sitting on a mat in a boat, and indeed the boat was pulling us."
[Machine] "It is reported that he (referring to Prophet Muhammad) stayed with Anas ibn Malik in Naysaboor for two years, and he used to pray two units (rakahs) of prayer, two units (rakahs) of prayer."
[Machine] "He saw Anas bin Malik circumambulating between Safa and Marwa on a donkey."
[Machine] "And from his side, open the doors of heaven for his soul and replace his home with a better home."
[Machine] "That Anas had loudly pronounced during noon or afternoon prayer and did not prostrate."
[Machine] "That I die in my bed, by God, this would not be a trial from Allah upon me. For I have killed one hundred polytheists among whom I have singled out some for killing and others I have shared in their killing."
[Machine] "Lahu Anasun idkuri Allah, ayyu aki fastawa jalisan wa qala 'Ayyu Anasu aturani amutu 'ala firashi wa qad qataltu miatan mina al-mushrikeena mubarazatan siwa man sharaktu fi qatlihi."
Anas said, "Brother, remember Allah." Then he sat down and said, "Oh Anas, do you see me dying on my bed, even though I have killed a hundred polytheists in combat, except for those I fought alongside?"
[Machine] "I stayed with Anas ibn Malik for two months, and he never missed the prayers of Fajr (dawn)."
