1. Book of Purification (5/11)
[Machine] "Sufyan said, 'When a woman first starts her period, she sits during the period similar to how other women do.' Abdullah was asked about this, and he said, 'It is one of the most similar things.'"
1.91 [Machine] In the big one, you see blood.
[Machine] About the issue of Ata regarding a woman who had stopped menstruating for thirty years and then saw blood, so he instructed her in matters related to being in a state of menstruation.
[Machine] "She is in the position of an adult woman who is menstruating, doing as a menstruating woman does."
[Machine] Perform ablution, pray, and if divorced, observe the waiting period.
1.92 [Machine] In the least purity
[Machine] "If a woman has her period for a month or forty nights, then three menstrual cycles, and reliable witnesses among women testify that she has seen what prohibits her from praying, which is the menstrual impurity that is known as menstruation, then her waiting period is complete. Abu Muhammad said, "I heard Yazid ibn Harun say, 'I prefer purity for fifteen days.'"
[Machine] A woman came to Ali arguing with her husband, so he divorced her. She said, "I have had three menstrual cycles in one month." Ali said to Shurayh, "Judge between them." Shurayh asked, "O Commander of the Faithful, are you here?" Ali replied, "Judge between them." Shurayh asked again, "O Commander of the Faithful, are you here?" Ali replied, "Judge between them." Then he said, "If she comes from a trustworthy family member who is known for his religion and honesty and claims that she had three menstrual cycles and she purifies herself after each cycle and offers prayers, then it is permissible for her. Otherwise, no." Ali said, "They said and they said in the language of the Romans, 'Well done.'"
[Machine] "To conceal what Allah has created in their wombs" [Al-Baqarah 228]. It was said to Abu Muhammad, "Do you talk about this?" He said, "No." Abd Allah was asked about the narration of Shuraih, and she said, "No." And he said, "There are three menstrual periods in a month, how can that be?"
1.93 [Machine] How is purity?
[Machine] To look at the blood at night during menstruation and say that it could be yellowness or darkness.
[Machine] Sufyan said, "Black and yellow discharge during menstruation is considered menstruation. If a woman sees any blood, black discharge, or yellow discharge after her menstruation days, then she has to perform istihadah." Abdullah was asked if he follows Sufyan's opinion, and he replied, "Yes."
[Machine] About his wife Fatima bint Muhammad, she was in the hut of Umrah. She said, "A woman from Quraysh sent to Umrah a camel with a piece of cotton in it, resembling a yellowish color, asking her, 'Do you see if a woman does not see anything of blood except for this, that she has become pure?' She said, 'No, not until she sees pure white.'"
[Machine] We used to be in her room, and one of us would menstruate, then become purified, and wash herself and pray, then she would have a slight yellow discharge. She would command us to refrain from prayers until we could only see pure whiteness.
[Machine] "Al-Kudrah and as-Sufrat are considered equivalent to menstruation periods."
[Machine] "From the prayer until you see the purity, white like the stalk, then wash and pray."
[Machine] Al-Hasan used to consider neither yellow nor black, nor anything resembling a meat grinder as anything meaningful.
"Umm 'Atiyah said: 'We used not to regard yellowish and brownish discharge as anything important.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 368)
1.94 [Machine] The Istihadah when it occurs after Hayd
[Machine] Regarding women, you may see blood during her clean days. He said, "I believe she should take a bath and perform prayers."
[Machine] Ibn Sirin said, "They did not consider seeing black or yellow to be a problem."
[Machine] "In Tarriyah, there is nothing after washing except purity." Abdullah said, "Tarriyah includes yellow and black impurities."
[Machine] He said: "If a woman sees the white discharge after completing her ritual bath, one or two days later, then she is deemed pure and can perform her prayers."
[Machine] "There is nothing in Tarteeah after performing ablution except purity."
We would not take into consideration brown and yellow (fluid) after purification. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 307)
[Machine] "If a menstruating woman sees excessive bleeding after performing ritual ablution for one or two days, then she should refrain from offering prayers for a day. After that, she is considered to be with irregular bleeding (istihada)."
[Machine] "If a woman has purified herself from menstruation and then she sees something after purification that makes her doubt, then it is only a transient discharge from Satan in the womb. So if she sees something like a nosebleed, a drop of blood, or a piece of flesh, she should perform ablution for prayer and then pray. But if the blood is excessive and cannot be hidden, then she should refrain from praying."
[Machine] Regarding women, their menstrual period lasts six or seven days, then they may see brown or yellow discharge, or they may see a drop or two of blood. If this occurs, it does not invalidate their prayers and they are not harmed by it.
[Machine] About a woman who cleanses herself from menstruation and then sees yellow discharge, he said, "Perform ablution and purify yourself."
[Machine] She delays the prayer in its appointed time for a day or two, and then she performs ablution. If she still sees bleeding during the first prayer time, she looks again. If it is light bleeding, she performs ablution and prays. If it is still heavy bleeding, she delays the Zuhr prayer and hastens the Asr prayer, and then performs them both with one ablution. When the sun sets, she looks again. If she still sees bleeding, she performs ablution and prays. If it is still heavy bleeding, she delays the Maghrib prayer and hastens the Isha prayer, and then performs them both with one ablution. When dawn breaks, she looks again. If she still sees bleeding, she performs ablution and prays. If it is still heavy bleeding, she performs complete washing and prays the Fajr prayer. She repeats this process three times every day and night.
Abu Muhammad Al-Aqra'i said: According to me, the menstrual period is considered in this case.
Once one of the wives of the Prophet ﷺ did Iʿtikaf along with him and she was getting bleeding in between her periods. She used to see the blood (from her private parts) and she would perhaps put a dish under her for the blood. (The sub-narrator ʿIkrima added, ʿAisha once saw the liquid of safflower and said, "It looks like what so and so used to have.") (Using translation from Bukhārī 309)
[Machine] Regarding a woman who becomes clean from her period and then sees yellow discharge, he said, "Perform ablution."

[Machine] Concerning women, her menstruation used to last for seven days, but her menstruation increased. He said, "She will observe purification for three days."
1.95 [Machine] Translation: "A woman purifies herself during prayer or menstruation
