Whenever Messenger of Allah ﷺ took a bath of Janaba, he washed his hands first.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا اغْتَسَلَ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ غَسَلَ يَدَهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ washed himself with water from a vessel (measuring seven to eight seers) because of sexual intercourse.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَغْتَسِلُ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ هُوَ الْفَرَقُ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ

I and the Messenger ﷺ took a bath from the same vessel and our hands alternated into it in the state that we had had sexual intercourse.

كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ تَخْتَلِفُ أَيْدِينَا فِيهِ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ

I and the Messenger of Allaah ( sal Allaahu alayhi wa sallam ) took a bath from one vessel while we were sexually defiled.

كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ وَنَحْنُ جُنُبَانِ

The Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) used to take bath with from a vessel (which contained seven to eight seers, i.e., fifteen to sixteen pounds) because of sexual intercourse. Abu Dawud said: The version narrated by Mu’ammar on the authority of al-Zuhri has: She (‘A’ishah) said: I and the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) took a bath from a vessel which was equal to al-faraq in measurement (i.e., containing water about seven or eight seers). Abu Dawud said: Ibn ‘Uyainah also narrated like the version of Malik. Abu Dawud said; I heard Ahmad b. Hanbal say: Al-Faraq contains sixteen rotls (of water). I also heard him say: The sa’of of Ibn Abi Dhi’b contained 5 rotls (of water). The view that a sa’ contains eight rotls (of water) is not safe. Abu Dawud said: I heard Ahmad (b. Hanbal) say: Whoever gave 5 1/3 rotls (measuring) with our rotl alms of fitr (sadaqat al-fitr), he gave in full, Thereupon he was questioned: Are the dates called al-saihani heavier (can one sa’ of them be given as alms of fitr)? He replied: The dates called al-saihani are good. But I do not know (whether water is heavier or the dates).

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَغْتَسِلُ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ هُوَ الْفَرَقُ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ

"I and Messenger of Allah would perform Ghusl for Janabah from one vessel."

كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ

"I heard Al-Qasim narrating that 'Aishah said: 'I used to perform Ghusl, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I from a single vessel, from Janabah.'"

كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I used to perform Ghusl together using one vessel."

كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ

"I heard Al-Qasim narrating that 'Aishah said: 'I used to perform Ghusl - the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I - from a single vessel for Janabah.'"

كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ

"The Messenger of Allah and I would take a bath from a single vessel."

كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ

"The Messager of Allah and I used to take bath from a single vessel."

كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ

"The Messenger of Allah and his wives used to take a bath from a single vessel."

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَزْوَاجُهُ يَغْتَسِلُونَ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ

She and the Messenger of Allah used to take a bath from a single vessel.

أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَغْتَسِلاَنِ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ

"I heard Al-Qasim narrating that 'Aishah said: 'I used to perform Ghusl, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I from a single vessel, from Janabah.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 233)

كُنْتُ «أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ»

"The Messenger of Allah and I would take a bath from a single vessel." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 376)

كُنْتُ «أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ وَهُوَ الْفَرَقُ»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his wife used to do ghusl from the same vessel.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَهْلُهُ يَغْتَسِلُونَ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to take a bath, along with a woman from his wives, from one vessel.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَغْتَسِلُ هُوَ وَامْرَأَةٌ مِنْ نِسَائِهِ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ

"I heard Al-Qasim narrating that 'Aishah said: 'I used to perform Ghusl, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I from a single vessel, from Janabah.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 233)

كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ

"I heard Al-Qasim narrating that 'Aishah said: 'I used to perform Ghusl, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I from a single vessel, from Janabah.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 233)

كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ

[AI] The translation of the passage is as follows: "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform gargling and inhalation when he would cleanse himself from janabah (major ritual impurity)."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا اغْتَسَلَ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ تَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ

"The Messenger of Allah and I would take a bath from a single vessel." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 376)

أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ

I and the Messenger of Allaah ( sal Allaahu alayhi wa sallam ) took a bath from one vessel while we were sexually defiled. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 77)

كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ

"I heard Al-Qasim narrating that 'Aishah said: 'I used to perform Ghusl, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I from a single vessel, from Janabah.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 233)

كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ نَغْتَسِلُ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ نَغْتَرِفُ مِنْهُ جَمِيعًا

[AI] She and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform ritual purification (ghusl) from the same vessel for major impurity (janabah), and he would kiss her while he was fasting.

أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ هِيَ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَغْتَسِلَانِ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ وَكَانَ يُقَبِّلُهَا وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ

"I heard Al-Qasim narrating that 'Aishah said: 'I used to perform Ghusl, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I from a single vessel, from Janabah.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 233)

أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَغْتَسِلُ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ

"The Messenger of Allah and I would take a bath from a single vessel." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 376)

كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Urwa ibn az- Zubayr from A'isha, umm al-muminin, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do ghusl for major ritual impurity from a vessel which contained a faraq.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَغْتَسِلُ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ هُوَ الْفَرَقُ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ

"The Messenger of Allah and I would take a bath from a single vessel." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 376)

«كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ نَشْرُعُ فِيهِ جَمِيعًا»

"I heard Al-Qasim narrating that 'Aishah said: 'I used to perform Ghusl, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I from a single vessel, from Janabah.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 233)

«كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ»

"I heard Al-Qasim narrating that 'Aishah said: 'I used to perform Ghusl, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I from a single vessel, from Janabah.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 233)

«كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ»

The Prophet ﷺ and I used to take a bath from a single pot while we were Junub. During the menses, he used to order me to put on an Izar (dress worn below the waist) and used to fondle me. While in Iʿtikaf, he used to bring his head near me and I would wash it while I used to be in my periods (menses). (Using translation from Bukhārī 299)

«كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ»

[AI] "It was that she used to take a ritual bath with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from a single vessel of janabah."

أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ «تَغْتَسِلُ هِيَ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ»

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and Ayesha used to perform ghusl (ritual bathing) from a single container.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهِيَ كَانَا «يَغْتَسِلَانِ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ»

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and she used to "perform ablution from one vessel."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهِيَ كَانَا «يَغْتَسِلَانِ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ»

[AI] She used to take a bath along with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from a single vessel for major ritual impurity.

«أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَغْتَسِلُ هِيَ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ»

كُنْتُ «أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ منَ الْجَنَابَةِ»

[AI] I used to perform ghusl (ritual purification) with the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , from the same container, while our hands were immersed in it due to janabah (major impurity).

كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ تَخْتَلِفُ أَيْدِينَا فِيهِ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and she (Aisha) used to take a ritual bath from one container and both of them would use it while they were in the state of major ritual impurity.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَإِيَّاهَا كَانَا يَغْتَسِلَانِ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ يَغْتَرِفَانِ مِنْهُ وَهُمَا جُنُبَانِ

[AI] It was she and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who used to perform ritual purification from the state of impurity using the same vessel.

أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ هِيَ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَغْتَسِلَانِ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ

[AI] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ and the woman from his wives used to perform ablution from one vessel.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَالْمَرْأَةُ مِنْ نِسَائِهِ يَغْتَسِلَانِ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ

[AI] I used to shower with the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ from one vessel.

كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ

"أَنَّ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ كَانَ يَغْتَسِلُ بِفَضْلِ مَيْمُونَةَ".

" أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَغْتَسِلَانِ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ".
