12. Remaing Anṣār (11/28)
[Machine] A woman came to the Prophet ﷺ asking him for something, and she was carrying two children. He gave her three dates, and she gave each of the children one date. Then one of the children started crying, so she split a date in half and gave each of them half. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Mothers who breastfeed their children and take care of them with mercy will enter Paradise."
[Machine] A man from the people of Safa died, and a dinar was found in his pocket. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Why only one?" Then another man died, and two dinars were found in his pocket. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Why two?"
[Machine] A man from the people of Sufa passed away, so he was mentioned in a similar manner.
[Machine] He heard Abu Umamah al-Bahili say: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he entered the night prayer, would say the takbeer (Allahu Akbar) three times, and then say the tasbeeh (Subhanallah) three times, and then say the tahleel (La ilaha illallah) three times. Afterwards, he would say, 'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the accursed devil, from his whisperings, his blowing, and his evil influence.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There are five phrases that are blessed: Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah), Alhamdulillah (All praise be to Allah), La ilaha illallah (There is no god but Allah), Allahu Akbar (Allah is the greatest), and a righteous child who dies and the parent remains patient and hopes for reward from Allah."
[Machine] He heard Abu Umamah al-Bahili saying that the Prophet of Allah, ﷺ , when he stood up for prayer, he would say Allahu Akbar (God is the greatest) three times, then he would say La ilaha illallah (There is no god but Allah) three times, and Subhanallah wa bihamdihi (Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him) three times. Then he would say, "I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan, from his whisperings, his blowing, and his spitting."
[Machine] Abdul Rahman from the people of Homs, from the tribe of Al-Adad, from Kindah, said: I heard Abu Umamah say: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said about a man who died and left behind a dinar or two dinars - he meant he said to him, "Why? Because you have cut off two relations."
"The Messenger of Allah (saas) came out to us, leaning on a stick, and when we saw him we stood up. He said: 'Do not do what the Persians do for their leaders.' We said: 'O Messenger of Allah, why don't you pray to Allah for us?' He said: 'Allahummaghfirlana, warhamna, warda 'anna, wa taqabbal minna, wa adkhilnal-jannah, wa najjina minan-nar, wa aslih lana sha'nana kullah. [O Allah, forgive us and have mercy on us, be pleased with us and accept (our good deeds) from us, admit us to Paradise and save us from Hell, and rectify all our affairs].' It was as if we wanted him to say more, but he said: 'Have I not summed everything for you?'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3836)
[Machine] "About the Prophet, ﷺ , something like him or similar."
[Machine] I heard Abu Ghaleb say when the heads of the Azariqah (a tribe) were brought and placed on the steps of Damascus, Abu Amama came and when he saw them, his eyes shed tears. He said, "They are the dogs of Hellfire, the worst of killers who were killed beneath the heavens. And the best of killers are those who were killed beneath the heavens by those they killed." I asked him, "Why are your eyes shedding tears?" He replied, "Out of mercy for them, as they were from the people of Islam." I said, "Do you say this out of your own opinion or did you hear it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ?" He said, "I am daring and I indeed heard it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , not once, twice, or three times, but repeatedly."
[Machine] The translation of the given passage into English is: "The barley bread was a favorite of the family of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "To remember Allah, the Exalted, from sunrise until the sun sets, by saying Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest), Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah), and SubhanAllah (Glory be to Allah), is more beloved to me than freeing four slaves from the descendants of Ismail. And to remember Allah from Asr prayer until the sun sets is more beloved to me than freeing so and so number of slaves from the descendants of Ismail."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The sun will come close to people on the Day of Resurrection according to their level of deeds. Its heat will increase to such an extent that the minds of people will boil just like the pots boil. They will sweat according to the severity of their sins; among them are those whose sweat will reach their ankles, some whose sweat will reach their knees, some whose sweat will reach their waist, and some whose sweat will completely cover them."
[Machine] When Umm Kulthum, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , was laid in her grave, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "From it we created you, and to it we will return you, and from it we will bring you forth once again." [Surah Ta-Ha: 55]. Then he said, "I do not know whether to say 'Bismillah' and 'for the sake of Allah' and 'on the way of the Messenger of Allah' or not." So when he built her grave, he stepped back and threw the dust towards them and said, "Block the gaps with wet clay." Then he said, "Indeed, this is not anything, but it brings comfort to the soul of the living."
[Machine] He (Abu Ghaleb) heard the Prophet ﷺ saying: "No Muslim servant hears the call to prayer and then gets up to make ablution except that his sins are forgiven with the first drop of water that reaches his hand from that ablution. And for every drop that follows until he completes his ablution, his previous sins are forgiven. And when he stands up to perform his prayer, even if it is a voluntary prayer, I asked Abu Umamah: "Did you hear this from the Prophet ﷺ?" He said: "Yes, by the One who sent him with the truth, as a giver of glad tidings and a warner, not once, not twice, not three times, not four times, not five times, not six times, not seven times, not eight times, not nine times, not ten times, but he gestured with his hands."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ saw a man praying and said, "Shouldn't there be someone who would give charity to this man and pray with him?" So a man stood up and prayed with him. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "These two are a congregation."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: "I was offered by my Lord that He would give me the valleys of Mecca filled with gold. I refused, saying, 'No, O Lord, but let me be hungry one day and full another day, or something similar. So, when I am hungry, I turn to You in humility and remember You, and when I am full, I praise You and thank You."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah said, 'The most beloved thing with which My servant worships Me is sincerity and loyalty to Me.'"
[Machine] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever initiates with the greeting of peace, he is more entitled to Allah and His Messenger."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Read the Quran, for it will come as an intercessor for its companion on the Day of Resurrection. Read the Zahrawain (Surah Al-Baqarah and Surah Al-Imran), for they will come on the Day of Resurrection like two clouds or like two flocks of birds that are arguing for their companions. Read Surah Al-Baqarah, for taking hold of it brings blessings and leaving it causes regret, and the cowards cannot face it."
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'To sit and remember Allah, glorify Him, praise Him, and magnify Him, from the time the sun rises until it sets, is dearer to me than freeing two slaves, or giving birth to more children of Ismail (Ishmael), and from the time the sun sets until it rises again is dearer to me than freeing four slaves, from the children of Ismail.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ initiated a battle, so I approached him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, supplicate to Allah for martyrdom for me." He said, "O Allah, protect them and give them booty." He said, "So we fought, and we were protected and took booty." He said, "Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ initiated a second battle, so I approached him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, supplicate to Allah for martyrdom for me." He said, "O Allah, protect them and give them booty." He said, "So we fought, and we were protected and took booty." He said, "Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ initiated a third battle, so I approached him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have come to you three times, asking you to supplicate to Allah for martyrdom for me." He said, "O Allah, protect them and give them booty." He said, "So we fought, and we were protected and took booty." He said, "Then I approached him again, and said, "O Messenger of Allah, show me an action that I can take from you, which Allah will benefit me with." He said, "Upon you is fasting, for there is nothing like it." He said, "So Abu Umamah, his wife, and his servant would not be together except in a state of fasting. If they saw fire or smoke during the day in their house, they knew that they had guests." He said, "Then I approached him again and said, "O Messenger of Allah, you have commanded me with something, and I hope that Allah has benefitted me with it. Therefore, command me with another action that Allah will benefit me with." He said, "Know that whenever you prostrate to Allah, He raises for you a degree or removes a sin, or He says, 'O My servant, My servant's doubt has wrestled with him and he has believed in My Majesty, so I forgave him his sins.'"
Please note that the translation may have some slight variations based on individual interpretation.

[Machine] I heard Abu Umamah say, "When you perform the ritual purification (taharah) in its designated places, you will be seated forgiven. If he stands up to pray, it will be a virtue and reward for him. But if he remains seated, he will still be seated forgiven."
