[Machine] My grandfather remained armed on the day of the Battle of Camel until Ammar was killed in Siffin. Then he unsheathed his sword and fought until he was also killed. He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Ammar will be killed by the rebellious group.'"
[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah said, "Allah is not shy of the truth; Allah is not shy of the truth. Three times: Do not enter upon women in their private quarters."
I asked ʿAʿishah ؓ about wiping over the khuff (leather slippers) and she said: Ask ʿAli ؓ . I asked him and he said: Three days and nights - i.e., for the traveller - and one day and night for one who is not travelling (Using translation from Aḥmad 780)
[Machine] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said: "Whoever commits a sin and its prescribed punishment is executed upon him, then it serves as an expiation for that sin."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform the Witr prayer at the beginning, middle, and end of the night.
[Machine] I saw in my dream as if I am prostrating on the forehead of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so I informed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about it. He said, "Indeed, the soul meets the soul," and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ lowered his head and placed his forehead on the forehead of the Prophet ﷺ .
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said about using stones for cleansing after using the bathroom, "Can any of you find three stones?" A man informed me about 'Umarah bin Khuzaimah bin Thabit, who narrated from his father that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There are three stones that do not have any impurities in them."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ set three days for the traveler and a day and night for the resident, and the grace of Allah is that if the petitioner were to continue in his request, He would make it five days.
[Machine] Khuza'ima ibn Thabit Al-Ansari saw in his dream that he prostrated on a forehead. He informed the Prophet ﷺ about it, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ lied down for him and said, "Your vision is true." Then he prostrated on the forehead of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
The Prophet ﷺ bought a horse from a Bedouin. The Prophet ﷺ took him with him to pay him the price of his horse. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ walked quickly and the Bedouin walked slowly. The people stopped the Bedouin and began to bargain with him for the horse as and they did not know that the Prophet ﷺ had bought it. The Bedouin called the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: If you want this horse, (then buy it), otherwise I shall sell it. The Prophet ﷺ stopped when he heard the call of the Bedouin, and said: Have I not bought it from you? The Bedouin said: I swear by Allah, I have not sold it to you. The Prophet ﷺ said: Yes, I have bought it from you. The Bedouin began to say: Bring a witness. Khuzaymah ibn Thabit then said: I bear witness that you have bought it. The Prophet ﷺ turned to Khuzaymah and said: On what (grounds) do you bear witness? He said: By considering you trustworthy, Messenger of Allah ﷺ! The Prophet ﷺ made the witness of Khuzaymah equivalent to the witness of two people. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3607)

[Machine] Narrated by 'Umara bin Khuzaima bin Thabit al-Ansari and Khuzaima, who was made by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as his two witnesses. Ibn Shihab said, 'Umara bin Khuzaima informed me that his uncle was one of the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . Khuzaima bin Thabit saw in a dream that he was prostrating on the forehead of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came and mentioned that. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ lay down and Khuzaima prostrated on his forehead.

“Intense fever is from the heat of Hell-fire, so cool it down with water.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3472)
Abu Bashir Al Ansari said that he was with the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ on one of his journeys. The Apostle of Allaah ﷺsent a messenger. The narrator ‘Abd Allah bin Abu Bakr said “I think he said while the people were sleeping. No necklace of bowstring or anything else must be left on a Camels’ neck, must be cut off. The narrator Malik said “I think this was due to evil eye.” (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2552)
[Machine] On a certain day, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was leading them in prayer. A woman passed by in the outskirts, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gestured to her to wait. She waited until he finished praying, then she passed by.
[Machine] "Abdullah and I heard him, I am from Harun. He said: Abdullah informed me that Makhrumah narrated to him from his father, from Sa'id bin Nafi', who said: Abu Bashir Al-Ansari, the companion of the Messenger of Allah, saw me praying the Duha (forenoon) prayer when the sun had risen. He disapproved of that and advised me. Then he said: Indeed, the Messenger of Allah said: Do not pray until the sun has risen, for it rises between the horns of Satan."

Yazid ibn Nu'aym ibn Huzzal, on his father's authority said: Ma'iz ibn Malik was an orphan under the protection of my father. He had illegal sexual intercourse with a slave-girl belonging to a clan. My father said to him: Go to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and inform him of what you have done, for he may perhaps ask Allah for your forgiveness. His purpose in that was simply a hope that it might be a way of escape for him. So he went to him and said: Messenger of Allah! I have committed fornication, so inflict on me the punishment ordained by Allah. He (the Prophet) turned away from him, so he came back and said: Messenger of Allah! I have committed fornication, so inflict on me the punishment ordained by Allah. He (again) turned away from him, so he came back and said: Messenger of Allah! I have committed fornication, so inflict on me the punishment ordained by Allah. When he uttered it four times, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: You have said it four times. With whom did you commit it? He replied: With so and so. He asked: Did you lie down with her? He replied: Yes. He asked: Had your skin been in contact with hers? He replied. Yes. He asked: Did you have intercourse with her? He said: Yes. So he (the Prophet) gave orders that he should be stoned to death. He was then taken out to the Harrah, and while he was being stoned he felt the effect of the stones and could not bear it and fled. But Abdullah ibn Unays encountered him when those who had been stoning him could not catch up with him. He threw the bone of a camel's foreleg at him, which hit him and killed him. They then went to the Prophet ﷺ and reported it to him. He said: Why did you not leave him alone. Perhaps he might have repented and been forgiven by Allah. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4419)

[Machine] It is said that Fatimah was given ownership and she used to tend their sheep, and one day a goat fell upon her, so she informed Hazal who deceived him. Hazal said to the goat, "Go to the Prophet ﷺ and inform him, perhaps a revelation will come to you." The Prophet ﷺ ordered that he be stoned, and when he bit him, he ran away. A man with a long beard or the leg of a camel approached him and struck him with it, causing him to be killed. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Woe to you, O Hazal! If only you had covered him with your garment, it would have been better for you."

[Machine] Goat ibn Malik came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Reveal to me the book of Allah." The Prophet ﷺ turned away from him four times, then ordered his stoning. When the stones touched him, Abdul Rahman said that he confessed once. When he was being stoned, he panicked and came out, distressed. Abdullah bin Unais or Anas also came out from his gathering and threw him with a piece of donkey's dung, killing him. He then came to the Prophet ﷺ and informed him of his actions. The Prophet ﷺ spoke to him about his action and said, "Why did you not leave him? Perhaps he would have repented and Allah would have accepted his repentance." Then he said, "Oh Hazal, if only you had covered him with your garment, it would have been better for you."

[Machine] From Makkah, with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, to Hunayn, he said, "The disbelievers had a Sidrah (a tree) that they would gather at and hang their weapons on. It is called Dhāt Anwātin (a tree with mantles). So, we passed by a great green Sidrah. We said, 'O Messenger of Allah, make for us a Dhāt Anwāt.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'You have said as the people of Musa said, "Make for us a deity as they have deities." [Quran 7:138] Indeed, you are an ignorant people. Verily, these are the ways of those before you, you will follow the ways of those before you step by step."
[Machine] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, we are in a land where we are afflicted with drought, so what is permissible for us regarding dead animals?" He said, "If you do not find halal (slaughtered) meat, and you do not find an animal that has died naturally, and you do not find crops, then you may consume it."
[Machine] And Ibn Bakr al-Badri said about the pain in which he died, and he heard him say: The Prophet ﷺ used to hide his prayer from the people, and he would extend his prayer for himself.
[Machine] We went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ towards Hunayn and passed by a sidrah tree. So I said, "O Prophet of Allah, make for us such a tree with idols, just as the disbelievers have trees with idols. The disbelievers used to hang their weapons on the tree and gather around it." So the Prophet ﷺ said, "Allahu Akbar! This is similar to what the Children of Israel said to Musa, 'Make for us a god as they have gods' (Quran 7:138). Indeed, you are following the ways of those before you."
[Machine] On the authority of Abu Waqid al-Laythi, he said: "O Messenger of Allah, we are in a land where there is an epidemic. When will death come to us?" He (the Prophet) said, "When you do not do i'tikaf, and you do not cover yourselves (with protective measures), and you do not pray for your safety, then your affair is in it."
[Machine] "We went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to Hunayn and he mentioned the meaning of the hadith of Ma'mar, and Ma'mar narrated the complete hadith."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , arrived in Medina, where there were people heading towards sheep and camel pens, cutting their meat. The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Whatever is cut from an animal while it is still alive is considered dead."
"The Prophet ﷺ came to Al-Madinah and they were in the habit of cutting the humps off of the camels and cutting the buttocks from the sheep. He said: 'Whatever is cut from an animal while it is alive, then it is dead flesh.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1480)
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said to his wives during his pilgrimage and the encampment of Husr, "Then the time for seclusion shall commence."
We came to the Prophet ﷺ when Divine Revelation came down to him, then he spoke to us and told us that day, "Allah said: Verily, We have sent down wealth for the performance of prayer and offering charity. If the son of Adam owned a valley, he would like to have a second. And if he had two valleys, he would like to add a third. Nothing fills the belly of the son of Adam but the dirt ˹of the grave˺, yet Allah turns to whoever repents."
[Machine] While we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, three people passed by. One of them found a gap in the circle and sat down, and the other sat behind them. The third person left. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Shall I inform you about the status of these three people?" They said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "As for the one who sat down and took refuge, Allah will grant him refuge. As for the one who sat behind you, Allah felt shy and turned away from him. And as for the one who left, he turned away from Allah."
[Machine] We visited Aba Waqid al-Kindi during his illness in which he passed away. He said, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the shortest prayers in congregation and the longest prayers when alone."
[Machine] Ibn Bakr Al-Badri spoke about the pain in which he died and mentioned the conversation.
I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying to his wives during the Farewell Pilgrimage: This (is the pilgrimage for you); afterwards stick to the surface of the mats (i.e. should stay at home). (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1722)
[Machine] Umar asked me about what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited in the prayers of the two Eids. Surayj said, "What did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recite in the prayer of going out?" I said, "He recited 'The Hour has come near, and the moon has split' and 'By the Quran, the Noble.'"
[Machine] "He entered upon Abu Waqid Al-Laythi, the companion of the Prophet ﷺ , during his illness in which he passed away. He said, 'Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to offer prayers for the people more frequently than for himself.'"
12.10 [Machine] Sufyan bin Abi Zuhair
“I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: ‘Whoever keeps a dog that he does not need for farming or herding, one Qirat will be deducted from his (good) deeds each day.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3206)
[Machine] That his horse was tired due to the rocky terrain while he was on a journey. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent them, so he returned to him carrying it. Sufyan claimed, as they mentioned, that the Prophet ﷺ went with him to find a camel for him but could only find it with Abu Jahm bin Hudhayfah al-Adawi. He offered it to the Prophet ﷺ who said to him, "I will not sell it to you, O Messenger of Allah, but take it and carry it on it whoever you want." He claimed that he took it from him and continued until he reached the well of al-Ahab. He claimed that the Prophet ﷺ said, "The building is about to come to this place and Syria is about to open. Men from the people of this land will come and be amazed by its countryside, its abundance, and the city will be better for them if they knew. Then Iraq will open and people will come who are in need and they will bring their families and whoever obeys them, and the city will be better for them if they knew. Indeed, Ibrahim prayed for the people of Mecca and I ask Allah to bless us in our measurement and bless us in our city, just as He blessed the people of Mecca."

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Yemen will be opened, and people who are harsh will come and take on their families and those who obey them. And the city (of Madinah) is better for them if only they knew. Then Ash-Sham (Syria) will be opened, and people who are harsh will come and take on their families and those who obey them. And the city is better for them if only they knew."
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Yemen will be opened, and a people will come who wear alternate clothing." Then, he mentioned the narration (hadith).
[Machine] "So he informed me and said, 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'You will conquer Syria, and then a people will come who are wearing rough clothes.' He said, 'Open it all, and he said, 'They are wearing rough clothes.'"
[Machine] "He informed him that he heard Sufyan ibn Abi Zuhair, who was a man from the noble companions of the Prophet ﷺ , talking to people at the door of the mosque, saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: Whoever keeps a dog that is not a hunting or herding dog, will have a portion of his good deeds deducted every day by a Qirat. He asked: Did you hear this from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ? He replied: Yes, by the Lord of this mosque."
12.11 [Machine] My Father, Abdulrahman: The Ship of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ's Companion
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say that the caliphate will last for thirty years, and after that it will be followed by monarchy. He said, "Hold onto the caliphate of Abu Bakr for two years, and the caliphate of Umar for ten years, and the caliphate of Uthman for twelve years, and the caliphate of Ali for six years."
[Machine] A man had beaten his camel severely, so he went to the Prophet ﷺ and he ordered them to feed it.
[Machine] He used to carry a lot, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "You are a ship."
Safinah AbuAbdurRahman said that a man prepared food for Ali ibn AbuTalib who was his guest, and Fatimah said: I wish we had invited the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he had eaten with us. They invited him, and when he came he put his hands on the side-ports of the door, but when he saw the figured curtain which had been put at the end of the house, he went away. So Fatimah said to Ali: Follow him and see what turned him back. I (Ali) followed him and asked: What turned you back, Messenger of Allah? He replied: It is not fitting for me or for any Prophet to enter a house which is decorated. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3755)
