The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whenever anyone of you is in prayer, he is speaking in private to his Lord and so he should neither spit in front of him nor on his right side but to his left side under his left foot."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا كَانَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ فَإِنَّهُ يُنَاجِي رَبَّهُ فَلاَ يَبْزُقَنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلاَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَلَكِنْ عَنْ شِمَالِهِ تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ الْيُسْرَى

The Prophet ﷺ said, "A faithful believer while in prayer is speaking in private to his Lord, so he should neither spit in front of him nor to his right side but he could spit either on his left or under his foot."

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ إِذَا كَانَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ فَإِنَّمَا يُنَاجِي رَبَّهُ فَلاَ يَبْزُقَنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلاَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَلَكِنْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ أَوْ تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When any one of you is engaged in prayer, he is holding intimate conversation with his Lord, so none of you must spit in front of him, or towards his right side, but towards his left side under his foot.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الصَّلاَةِ فَإِنَّهُ يُنَاجِي رَبَّهُ فَلاَ يَبْزُقَنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلاَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَلَكِنْ عَنْ شِمَالِهِ تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ

"When any one of you prays, let him not spit in front of him or to his right, rather let him spit to his left or beneath his feet." Then the Prophet ﷺ spat like this on his garment and rubbed it.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ فَلاَ يَبْزُقْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلاَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَلَكِنْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ أَوْ تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ وَإِلاَّ فَبَزَقَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ هَكَذَا فِي ثَوْبِهِ وَدَلَكَهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When a man stands with the intention of saying prayer, or if any of you says prayer, he should not spit before him, nor at his right side; but he should do so at his left side, if there is a place for it; or he should spit under his left foot and then rub it off.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا قَامَ الرَّجُلُ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ أَوْ إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ فَلاَ يَبْزُقْ أَمَامَهُ وَلاَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَلَكِنْ عَنْ تِلْقَاءِ يَسَارِهِ إِنْ كَانَ فَارِغًا أَوْ تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ الْيُسْرَى ثُمَّ لْيَقُلْ بِهِ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "When one of you is in prayer, he is conversing with his Lord, so none of you should spit to his right." Ibn Ja'far said, "Nor should he spit in front of him nor to his right, but rather to his left or under his feet."

أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَإِنَّهُ مُنَاجٍ رَبَّهُ فَلَا يَتْفُلَنَّ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ قَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ فَلَا يَتْفُلُ أَمَامَهُ وَلَا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَلَكِنْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ أَوْ تَحْتَ قَدَمَيْهِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you is in prayer, they are conversing with their Lord, therefore, they should not spit in front of them or on their right side, but should spit on their left side or under their foot."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَإِنَّهُ يُنَاجِي رَبَّهُ فَلَا يَتْفُلَنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلَا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَلْيَتْفُلْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ أَو تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "When one of you is in prayer, he should not spit in front of him or to his right, for he is in private converse with his Lord. Rather, he should spit to his left or underneath his foot."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَلَا يَتْفُلْ أَمَامَهُ وَلَا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ فَإِنَّهُ يُنَاجِي رَبَّهُ وَلَكِنْ لِيَتْفُلْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ أَوْ تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you is in prayer, they are communing with their Lord, so they should not spit. Hajjaj said, 'They should not spit in front of them or to their right, but rather to their left, beneath their feet.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَإِنَّهُ يُنَاجِي رَبَّهُ فَلَا يَبْزُقَنَّ قَالَ قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ فَلَا يَبْصُقَنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلَا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَلَكِنْ عَنْ شِمَالِهِ تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When one of you is in prayer, then he is engaged in a private conversation with his Lord, so let him not spit in front of him or to his right, but let him spit to his left or under his foot."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاةٍ فَإِنَّهُ يُنَاجِي رَبَّهُ فَلَا يَتْفِلَنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلَا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَلْيَتْفِلْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ أَوْ تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ

[Machine] "Narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When any one of you is in prayer, he should not spit in front of him or to his right, for he is conversing with his Lord; rather, let him spit to his left or beneath his feet."

[Machine] The Prophet Allah's peace and blessings be upon him said, "When one of you is in prayer, he should not spit to his right or in front of him, for he is having a private conversation with his Lord. However, he may spit to his left or under his foot."

أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَلَا يَتْفُلْ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَلَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَإِنَّهُ يُنَاجِي رَبَّهُ وَلَكِنْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ أَوْ تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When you pray, do not spit in front of you or to your right, but to your left or under your left foot."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا صَلَّيْتَ فَلَا تَبْزُقْ أَمَامَكَ وَلَا عَنْ يَمِينِكَ وَلَكِنْ عَنْ شِمَالِكَ أَوْ تَحْتَ قَدَمِكَ الْيُسْرَى»

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلاتِهِ فَإِنَّهُ يُنَاجِي رَبَّهُ فَلا يَبْزُقَنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ ولاَ عَن يَمِينِهِ وَلكن عَنْ يَسَارِهِ أَوْ تحت قدمه

اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا بَصَقَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَلَا يَبْصُقْ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَلَكِنْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ أَوْ تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ لَا يَبْزُقَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَمَامَهُ فِي صَلاتِهِ وَلكن عَنْ يَسَارِهِ أَوْ تَحْتَ قدمه

عَلَيه وَسَلَّم رَأَى نُخَامَةً فِي قِبْلَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَحَكَّهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ إِذَا قَامَ أحدكم في الصلاة فلا يبصق أَمَامَهُ ولاَ عَن يَمِينِهِ وَلكن عَن يَسَارِهِ

"إِنَّ أحدكم إِذا كان في صلاتِه فإِنه يناجى ربَّه فلا يَبْزُقَنَّ بين يَدَيْه ولا عن يمينه ولكن عن يساره وتحت قدمه ".

"إذَا صلَّى أحدُكُمْ فلا يَبْصُقْ بين يديه ولا عَنْ يمينه، ولْيبصقْ عن يسارهِ أو تحتَ قَدَمِه".

"When any one of you prays, let him not spit in front of him or to his right, rather let him spit to his left or beneath his feet." Then the Prophet ﷺ spat like this on his garment and rubbed it. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 309)

"إذَا صلَّى إحدُكم فلا يَبزُقْ بين يديه، ولا عَنْ يمينِه، ولكنْ عن يسارهِ أوْ تحتَ قدَمِهِ".

"إِذا دَخَلَ أحَدُكُمْ في الصلاةِ فلا يبْزُقَن بينَ يديهِ، ولا عنْ يمينِه، ولكن تحتَ قدمِه".

Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw some expectoration on the wall of the mosque; he took gravel and scraped it off and said, "If anyone of you wanted to spit he should neither spit in front of him nor on his right but he could spit either on his left or under his left foot." "إذَا تنخَّمَ أحدُكمْ فلا يتنخَّمنَّ قِبَل وَجْهِه ولا عنْ يمينه وليبصُقْ عن يساره أو تحت قدمِه اليُسْرى".
