I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: May Allah brighten a man who hears a tradition from us, gets it by heart and passes it on to others. Many a bearer of knowledge conveys it to one who is more versed than he is; and many a bearer of knowledge is not versed in it.  

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ نَضَّرَ اللَّهُ امْرَأً سَمِعَ مِنَّا حَدِيثًا فَحَفِظَهُ حَتَّى يُبَلِّغَهُ فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَفْقَهُ مِنْهُ وَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ لَيْسَ بِفَقِيهٍ  

The Messenger of Allah said: "May Allah cause his face to shine, the man who hears what I say and conveys it (to others). There are those who have knowledge but no understanding, and there may be those who convey knowledge to those who have more understanding of it than they do.' " (One of the narrators) 'Ali bin Muhammed added to it: "There are three things because of which hatred does not enter the heart of a Muslim: Sincerity in doing an action for the sake of Allah; being sincere towards the rulers of the Muslims; and adhering to the Jama'ah (main body of the Muslims."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَضَّرَ اللَّهُ امْرَأً سَمِعَ مَقَالَتِي فَبَلَّغَهَا فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ غَيْرِ فَقِيهٍ وَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَفْقَهُ مِنْهُ زَادَ فِيهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثَلاَثٌ لاَ يُغِلُّ عَلَيْهِنَّ قَلْبُ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ إِخْلاَصُ الْعَمَلِ لِلَّهِ وَالنُّصْحُ لأَئِمَّةِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَلُزُومُ جَمَاعَتِهِمْ  

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'May Allah cause to flourish a slave (of His) who hears my words and understands them, then he conveys them from me. There are those who have knowledge but no understanding, and there may be those who convey knowledge to those who may have more understanding of it than they do.'"  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَضَّرَ اللَّهُ عَبْدًا سَمِعَ مَقَالَتِي فَوَعَاهَا ثُمَّ بَلَّغَهَا عَنِّي فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ غَيْرِ فَقِيهٍ وَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَفْقَهُ مِنْهُ  

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'May Allah cause to flourish a slave (of His) who hears my words and understands them, then he conveys them from me. قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِالْخَيْفِ مِنْ مِنًى فَقَالَ «نَضَّرَ اللَّهُ عَبْدًا سَمِعَ مَقَالَتِي فَوَعَاهَا ثُمَّ أَدَّاهَا إِلَى مَنْ لَمْ يَسْمَعْهَا فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ لَا فِقْهَ لَهُ وَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَفْقَهُ مِنْهُ»  

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'May Allah cause to flourish a slave (of His) who hears my words and understands them, then he conveys them from me. "The Messenger of Allah said: 'May Allah cause to flourish a slave (of His) who hears my words and understands them, then he conveys them from me. قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «نَضَّرَ اللهُ عَبْدًا سَمِعَ مَقَالَتِي فَحَمَلَهَا إِلَى غَيْرِهِ فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَفْقَهُ مِنْهُ وَرَبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ لَيْسَ بِفَقِيهٍ»  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ addressed them and said, "May Allah bless a person who hears my speech and understands it. There are those who carry knowledge, but have no understanding of it, and there are those who carry knowledge and pass it on to those who have more understanding than them."  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ خَطَبَهُمْ فَقَالَ «نَضَّرَ اللهُ امْرَأً سَمِعَ مَقَالَتِي فَوَعَاهَا فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ لَا فِقْهَ لَهُ وَرَبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أفْقَهُ مِنْهُ»  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «رَحِمَ اللهُ عَبْدًا سَمِعَ مَقَالَتِي فَحَفِظَها فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ غَيْرُ فَقِيهٍ وَرَبُّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَفْقَهُ مِنْهُ»  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «رَحِمَ اللهُ عَبْدًا سَمِعَ مَقَالَتِي فَحَفِظَها فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ غَيْرُ فَقِيهٍ وَرَبُّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَفْقَهُ مِنْهُ»  

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: May Allah brighten a man who hears a tradition from us, gets it by heart and passes it on to others. سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «نَضَّرَ اللهُ امْرَأً سَمِعَ مِنَّا حَدِيثًا حَفِظَهُ حَتَّى يُبَلِّغَهُ غَيْرَهُ فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَفْقَهُ مِنْهُ وَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ لَيْسَ بِفَقِيهٍ»  

"رَحِمَ اللَّهُ عبْدًا سَمِع مقَالَتِى فَحفِظَها، فرُّبَّ حامِل فِقْه غيرِ فَقِيه، ورُبَّ حامِل فقْه إِلَى منْ هُو أَفْقَهُ منْهُ، ثَلَاثٌ لَا يُغِلُّ علَيْهِنَّ قَلْبُ مُؤْمِنٍ: إِخَلَاصُ الْعملِ للَّهِ، ومُنَاصحةُ وُلَاةِ الْمُسْلِمِين ولُزُومُ جَماعةِ الْمُسْلِمِين".  

"نَضَّرَ الله امرأً سَمِعَ مِنَّا حَدِيثًا فَحَفِظَهُ حَتَّى يُبَلِّغَهُ غَيرَهُ، فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَفْقَهُ مِنْهُ، وَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ لَيسَ بِفَقِيهٍ".  

"نَضَّرَ الله عَبْدًا سَمِعَ مَقَالتِي فَوعَاهَا، ثُمَّ بَلَّغها عَنِّي، فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ غَير فَقِيهٍ، وربَّ حَامِلِ فِقْه إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَفْقَهُ مِنْهُ".  

"عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ رَحمَ الله مَنْ سَمِعَ مَقَالَتِى فَوعَاهَا، ثُمَّ أدَّاهَا إِلَى مَنْ لَمْ يَسْمَعْهَا، فَرُبَّ حَاملِ فِقْهٍ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَفقَهُ مِنْهُ".
