[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "May Allah brighten the face of a person who hears a tradition from us and memorizes it, then conveys it to others. There are often those who understand jurisprudence but are not jurists."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «نَضَّرَ اللهُ امْرَأً سَمِعَ مِنَّا حَدِيثًا فَحَفِظَهُ فَبَلَّغَهُ فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ لَيْسَ بِفَقِيهٍ»
I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: May Allah brighten a man who hears a tradition from us, gets it by heart and passes it on to others. Many a bearer of knowledge conveys it to one who is more versed than he is; and many a bearer of knowledge is not versed in it.
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ نَضَّرَ اللَّهُ امْرَأً سَمِعَ مِنَّا حَدِيثًا فَحَفِظَهُ حَتَّى يُبَلِّغَهُ فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَفْقَهُ مِنْهُ وَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ لَيْسَ بِفَقِيهٍ
from his father who said: "Zaid bin Thabit left to go to Marwan during the middle of the day. We said: 'He did not send for him [during] this hour except to ask him about something.' So we got up to ask him, and he said: 'Yes, he asked us about something we heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "May Allah gladden a man who hears a Hadith from us, so he memorizes it until he conveys it to someone else. Perhaps he carries Fiqh to one who is more understanding than him, and perhaps the one who carries the Fiqh is not a Faqih."
خَرَجَ زَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ مِنْ عِنْدِ مَرْوَانَ نِصْفَ النَّهَارِ قُلْنَا مَا بَعَثَ إِلَيْهِ فِي هَذِهِ السَّاعَةِ إِلاَّ لِشَيْءٍ سَأَلَهُ عَنْهُ فَقُمْنَا فَسَأَلْنَاهُ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ سَأَلَنَا عَنْ أَشْيَاءَ سَمِعْنَاهَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ نَضَّرَ اللَّهُ امْرَأً سَمِعَ مِنَّا حَدِيثًا فَحَفِظَهُ حَتَّى يُبَلِّغَهُ غَيْرَهُ فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَفْقَهُ مِنْهُ وَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ لَيْسَ بِفَقِيهٍ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ وَمُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ وَجُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ وَأَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ وَأَنَسٍ
"I heard 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud narrating from his father who said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: 'May Allah gladden a man who hears something from us, so he conveys it as he heard it. Perhaps the one it is conveyed to is more understanding than the one who heard it.'"
سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ نَضَّرَ اللَّهُ امْرَأً سَمِعَ مِنَّا شَيْئًا فَبَلَّغَهُ كَمَا سَمِعَ فَرُبَّ مُبَلَّغٍ أَوْعَى مِنْ سَامِعٍ
The Prophet said: "May Allah cause his face to shine, the man who hears a Hadith from us and conveys it, for perhaps the one to whom it is conveyed may remember it better than the one who (first) hears it."

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'May Allah cause to flourish a slave (of His) who hears my words and understands them, then he conveys them from me. There are those who have knowledge but no understanding, and there may be those who convey knowledge to those who may have more understanding of it than they do.'"
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَضَّرَ اللَّهُ عَبْدًا سَمِعَ مَقَالَتِي فَوَعَاهَا ثُمَّ بَلَّغَهَا عَنِّي فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ غَيْرِ فَقِيهٍ وَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَفْقَهُ مِنْهُ

قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِالْخَيْفِ مِنْ مِنًى فَقَالَ «نَضَّرَ اللَّهُ عَبْدًا سَمِعَ مَقَالَتِي فَوَعَاهَا ثُمَّ أَدَّاهَا إِلَى مَنْ لَمْ يَسْمَعْهَا فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ لَا فِقْهَ لَهُ وَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَفْقَهُ مِنْهُ»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a speech and said, "May Allah bless the person who hears a narration from us and conveys it as he heard it, for perhaps the conveyer understands it better than the listener."
خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «نَضَّرَ اللَّهُ امْرءًا سَمِعَ مِنَّا حَدِيثًا فَبَلَّغَهُ كَمَا سَمِعَهُ فَرُبَّ مُبَلَّغٍ أَوْعَى مِنْ سَامِعٍ»
[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "Abdul Razzaq reported that I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'May Allah illuminate a person who hears a Hadith from us and memorizes it until he conveys it (to others). For often the recipient has a better memory than the listener.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «نَضَّرَ اللَّهُ امْرَأً سَمِعَ مِنَّا حَدِيثًا فَبَلَّغَهُ كَمَا سَمِعَهُ فَرُبَّ مُبَلَّغٍ أَوْعَى مِنْ سَامِعٍ»
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up in Khaif in Mina, and said: ‘May Allah make his face shine, the man who hears my words and conveys them. It may be that the bearer of knowledge does not understand it, and it may be that he takes it to one who will understand it more than he does. There are three things in which the heart of the believer does not betray: sincerity of action for the sake of Allah, offering sincere advice to the rulers of the Muslims, and adhering to the Jama’ah (main body of the Muslims). [AI] "The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, 'May Allah have mercy on the one who hears a hadith from me and conveys it as he heard it, for perhaps the one who conveys it understands it better than the one who hears it.'"
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «رَحِمَ اللَّهُ مَنْ سَمِعَ مِنِّي حَدِيثًا فَبَلَّغَهُ كَمَا سَمِعَهُ فَرُبَّ مُبَلَّغٍ أَوْعَى لَهُ مِنْ سَامِعٍ»

"رَحِمَ اللَّهُ مَنْ سَمِعَ مِنِّى حَدِيثًا فَبَلَّغَهُ كَمَا سَمِعَهُ، فَرُبَّ مُبَلَّغٍ أَوْعَى لَهُ مِنْ سَامِعٍ".
"نَضَّرَ الله امرأً سَمِعَ مِنَّا حَدِيثًا فَحَفِظَهُ حَتَّى يُبَلِّغَهُ غَيرَهُ، فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَفْقَهُ مِنْهُ، وَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ لَيسَ بِفَقِيهٍ".
"نَضَّر الله امرأً سَمِعَ مِنَّا شَيئًا فَبَلَّغَهُ كَمَا سَمِعَه، فَرُبَّ مُبَلَّغٍ أَوْعَي مِنْ سَامِعٍ".
"نَضَّرَ الله عَبْدًا سَمِعَ مَقَالتِي فَوعَاهَا، ثُمَّ بَلَّغها عَنِّي، فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ غَير فَقِيهٍ، وربَّ حَامِلِ فِقْه إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَفْقَهُ مِنْهُ".
"نَضَّر الله امْرأً سَمِعَ مَقَالتِي فَوَعَاهَا وَحَفِظَهَا وَعَقَلَهَا، فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ لَيسَ بِفَقيه".
