2. Book of Knowledge
[Machine] From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said: "Whoever seeks knowledge to show off to scholars or to compete with fools or to gain praise from people, then they are destined for hell." "The two sheikhs did not produce anything to Ishaaq bin Yahya, I only made him a witness for what I have fulfilled from their condition, and Ishaaq bin Yahya is from the noble descendants of Quraysh." They did not send out for Ishaaq, but I only made him a witness.
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up in Khaif in Mina, and said: ‘May Allah make his face shine, the man who hears my words and conveys them. It may be that the bearer of knowledge does not understand it, and it may be that he takes it to one who will understand it more than he does. There are three things in which the heart of the believer does not betray: sincerity of action for the sake of Allah, offering sincere advice to the rulers of the Muslims, and adhering to the Jama’ah (main body of the Muslims). Their supplication is answered (i.e. encompassing every good, and all of the people).” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3056)
[Machine] Abu Ali Al-Hafiz told us that Abu Ya'la narrated to him, who narrated from Abu Khaythama, who said: Ya'qub bin Ibrahim bin Sa'd narrated from his father, who narrated from Ibn Ishaq, who narrated from Abu Al-Hassan Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Jawhary, who narrated from Muhammad bin Ishaq, who narrated from Muhammad bin Ya'la, who narrated from Yahya bin 'Ubaid Al-Tanafisi, and Ahmad bin Khalid Al-Wahbi, who said: Muhammad bin Ishaq narrated to us, who narrated from Muhammad bin Al-Muzaffar Al-Hafiz, who narrated from Muhammad bin Harun, who narrated from Sulaiman bin 'Umar, who narrated from Yahya bin Sa'id Al-Umawi, who narrated from Muhammad bin Ishaq, who narrated from Abu 'Amr Muhammad bin Ahmad bin Ishaq Al-'Adl, who narrated from Muhammad bin Khuza'im Al-Dimashqi, who narrated from Hisham bin 'Ammar, who said: Sa'id bin Yahya Al-Lakhmi narrated to me, who narrated from Ibn Ishaq, and Ali bin 'Isa also narrated to me. The wording is from Musaddad bin Qatan, who narrated from 'Uthman bin Abi Shaybah, who narrated from Yahya bin 'Ubaid, who narrated from Muhammad bin Ishaq, who narrated from Al-Zuhri, who narrated from Muhammad bin Jubair:
The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, stood in the valley of Mina and said, "May Allah brighten the face of the servant who hears my words and memorizes them, then conveys them to those who have not heard them. Perhaps there is a scholar who is not knowledgeable, but carries the knowledge to someone more knowledgeable than him. There are three qualities that a believer's heart should not hold any animosity towards: sincerity in actions for Allah, loyalty to the rulers, and adherence to the congregation. Their supplication is answered even if it comes from behind them."
These trustworthy narrators have unanimously agreed upon narrating this hadith from Muhammad bin Ishaq, from Al-Zuhri, except for Abdullah bin Numayr who differs with them. He narrates it from Muhammad bin Ishaq through Abdus Salam, son of Abi Al-Janub, who narrates from Al-Zuhri and Ibn Numayr is trustworthy. Allah knows best. Then we examined it and found that Al-Zuhri has a continuous chain narrating from Muhammad bin Jubair.

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, while he was in Khayf from Mina: "May Allah have mercy on a servant who hears my words, memorizes them, and conveys them to those who have not heard them. It is possible that the one who conveys knowledge may be more knowledgeable than the one receiving it. There are three qualities that the heart of a believer should not harbor: insincerity in actions, giving advice to the rulers, and abandoning the Muslim community. Their supplications will come from behind them." This is also narrated by a group of companions including Umar, Uthman, Ali, Abdullah bin Mas'ud, Muadh bin Jabal, Ibn Umar, Ibn Abbas, Abu Huraira, Anas, and others. The narration of Nu'man bin Bashir is mentioned as a condition for the authenticity of this hadith.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a sermon and said, "May Allah enlighten the face of a person who hears my words and bears them. Many individuals who possess knowledge are not truly wise, and many individuals who possess knowledge convey it to someone who is more knowledgeable than them. There are three things that do not burden the heart of a believer: sincere actions for the sake of Allah, advising the leaders, and remaining steadfast in the Muslim community." A Muslim has cited a hadith in the authentic Musnad, narrated by Simak bin Harb from Nu'man bin Bashir, who said, "I once saw our Prophet ﷺ filling his stomach with dates." It was also narrated by Simak bin Harb from Nu'man that the Prophet ﷺ used to straighten our rows, and this hadith has been agreed upon for its authenticity. It was also reported by Sha'bi and Mujahid from Nu'man bin Bashir, from the Prophet ﷺ , and this is according to the condition set by Imam Muslim.
