[Machine] "We accompanied the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a funeral procession of a man from the Ansar. When we reached the grave and it was being prepared, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat down and we sat around him as if birds were perched on our heads." The narration mentioned the authenticity of this hadith, which is documented in the Book of Faith, and that it was not omitted.
[Machine] "When we used to sit with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, we would not raise our heads to him out of respect for him."
[Machine] I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his Companions were with him. It was as if birds were on their heads. So, I greeted and sat down. Then, some Bedouins came to ask him about certain things, until they asked, "Should we seek medication?" He said, "Seek medication, for indeed Allah the Most High has not placed a disease except that He has also placed a cure for it." Then, they asked him about other things, and he said, "O servants of Allah, hardship is placed upon people. It is not permissible for a person to borrow from another person unjustly. That is a hardship and destruction." They then asked him, "O Messenger of Allah, what is the best thing that people can be given?" He said, "Good character."
[Machine] I entered the mosque, and I saw a group that seemed as if their heads were cut off. Then a man spoke to them, and it turned out to be Hudhayfah. He said, "People used to ask the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about good, while I used to ask him about evil," and he mentioned the hadith in its entirety. The text of this hadith is mentioned in both books (referring to Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim). However, I mentioned it in this specific context to listen to the narrator and to understand how to show respect to him. Indeed, they did not mention this wording in both books.
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to enter the mosque and none of us would raise our heads except for Abu Bakr and Umar. They would smile at him and he would smile back at them."
[Machine] Salman was in a group of people who used to remember Allah. Then, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by them, intending to join them, until he approached them. They stopped talking out of respect for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . He said, "What were you saying? I saw mercy descending upon you, so I wanted to participate in it with you."
[Machine] About something, I don't know what to say to him. He said, "Have you seen a disciplined, active, and eager man who is keen on jihad, saying that our leaders are planning things that we cannot count?" I said, "By Allah, I don't know what to say to you except that we used to be with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and perhaps he would not command anything unless we did it. And whatever resembles the obscurity of this world is like the foam from the drink, its clarity has been consumed leaving only its dregs. And indeed, one of you will continue to be in goodness as long as they fear Allah Almighty. And when something troubles them, they should approach a knowledgeable person to ask for guidance, and I swear by Allah, they will soon discover that they will not find a solution."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "He is not one of us who does not honor our elders, show mercy to our young ones, and acknowledge the scholars amongst us." "Malik bin Khayr Al-Ziyadi is a trustworthy Egyptian, and Abu Qabeel is a respected follower." Malik is a trustworthy Egyptian.
[Machine] From Jabir ibn Abdullah: "Obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you." [Quran 4:59] He said, "Those with knowledge and goodness."
[Machine] Ibn Abbas said about the saying of Allah, "Obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you" [Quran 4:59] - it means the people of knowledge and religion and the people of obedience to Allah who teach the people the noble aspects of their religion, command them to do good, and forbid them from evil. So, Allah has made it obligatory to obey them. These are the statements that indicate the necessity for scholars to be humble towards those whom they teach.
[Machine] "For the sake of Omar, do not wear a garment softer than yours and do not eat more delicious food than yours, even though Allah has granted you ease and plenty. She said, 'I will argue with you until you speak for yourself.' He then mentioned the condition of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and what he endured in his life. She continued to remind him until she cried, and he said, 'Indeed, I have declared that I will share with them in their harsh living conditions, hoping that I will attain their comfortable living conditions.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The nobleness of a believer lies in his faith, his integrity, his intelligence, and his character."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "The nobility of a believer is in their religion, their character, and their manners."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You will not be able to please people with your wealth, but it is your good manners and kindness that will please them." It was narrated by Sufyan Ath-Thawri from Abdullah ibn Sa'id. I said, Abdullah means Abdullah ibn Sa'id Al-Maqbari (from the tribe of Maqbara in Yemen).
[Machine] "You cannot please people with your money, but you can please them with a generous smile and good character."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Doing good towards people protects the person from evil, harm, and destruction. Those who do good in this world will be considered the doers of good in the Hereafter." I heard Abu Ali Al-Hafiz saying, "I did not write this hadith except from Abu Abdullah As-Saffar, Muhammad bin Ishaq, and his son, who are both from Al-Basri. We did not know them to have any criticism. As for the saying ‘those who do good in this world,’ it has been narrated without a clear chain of narration from Al-Munkadir from his father, from Jabir, who said, ‘And Al-Munkadir, even if they do not exclude him, he is still mentioned in Al-Shawahid.'"
The Prophet of Allah ﷺ was commanded to hold to forgiveness from the conduct of the people. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4787)
[Machine] Allah has revealed this verse only in the character of the people: "Take forgiveness" [Al-A'raf: 199] and enjoin what is right and turn away from the ignorant.
[Machine] Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ imprisoned a man from his tribe on charges. Then, a man from his tribe came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was delivering a sermon and said, "O Muhammad, why do you imprison my kinsman?" The Prophet ﷺ remained silent and said, "There are people who say that I forbid evil while indulging in it. What do you say?" I turned away from both of them, fearing that he would understand my gesture and invoke a curse upon my people in a way that they would never succeed thereafter. The Prophet ﷺ did not stop until he understood it and said, "Have they said so? Is the one saying this among them? By Allah, if I had done so, it would have been upon them to keep away from their neighbors." The statement has been previously mentioned in the document of Bahz ibn Hakim, but repeating it doesn't add anything to its reliability, as there are authentic references to this hadith in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. Some of these references include the hadith of Al-A'mash from Abu Wail from Abdullah, where the Messenger of Allah ﷺ divided something and a man from the Ansar said, "This division, I did not intend to obtain the face of Allah with it." And the hadith of Malik from Ishaq ibn Abdullah ibn Abu Talhah from Anas, where Anas said, "I was walking with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he was wearing a thick Burd (cloak) with a rough edge. Then, an Arab Bedouin snatched the edge of his Burd." There is also the hadith of Shurayk ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Namir from Anas in the story of Hunayn, when he said, "What is forcing me to join this tree? And there are other narrations that are too lengthy to mention."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There are three qualities, whoever possesses them, Allah will provide him refuge in His protection, cover him with His mercy, and admit him in His love." It was asked, "What are these qualities, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "The one who, when given, shows gratitude, when judged, forgives, and when angry, remains silent."
[Machine] When Umar ibn Al-Khattab assumed leadership, he addressed the people on the pulpit of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He praised and thanked Allah and praised the Prophet. Then he said, "O people, I have learned from you that you find me strict and harsh. This is because I used to be with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I was his servant and companion. Allah described him as being compassionate and merciful to the believers. I used to be in front of him like a drawn sword, except when he would calm me down or prohibit me from doing something. Then I would stop, otherwise, I would act forcefully towards people with leniency."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever is gentle, kind, and close to others, Allah will keep them away from the Hellfire."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever gives religious verdicts to people without knowledge, his sin is upon the one who asked him."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not write down anything from me except the Quran. Whoever writes down anything from me other than the Quran, let him erase it."
[Machine] "He heard the narration of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , we had a village and livelihoods, but people were not lying at that time, so the absent witness would narrate."
[Machine] "If it is not in the Book of Allah, and it is something that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, then indeed, if it is not from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, but it is something that Abu Bakr and Umar said, then if Abu Bakr and Umar do not have anything regarding it, then he said it based on his own opinion."
[Machine] "Abdullah reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Verily, lying is not appropriate whether it is done seriously or in jest, or when a person promises his son but does not fulfill it. Indeed, truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise. And indeed, lying leads to wickedness, and wickedness leads to the Fire. It is said about the truthful person, 'He is truthful and virtuous,' and about the liar, 'He lied and is treacherous.' Indeed, a person continues to tell the truth until they are recorded with Allah as truthful, or they keep lying until they are recorded with Allah as a liar.'"

The Prophet ﷺ said: The Jews were split up into seventy-one or seventy-two sects; and the Christians were split up into seventy one or seventy-two sects; and my community will be split up into seventy-three sects. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4596)
“The Jews split into seventy-one sects and my nation will split into seventy-three sects.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3991)
[Machine] We acquire knowledge that Allah, the Almighty, has taught us. Muawiya said, "If I had preceded you, I would have cut off a faction from you." Then, he stood up when he prayed the Dhuhr prayer in Mecca and said, "The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Indeed, the people of the Scripture have divided in their religion into seventy-two sects, and this Ummah will divide into seventy-three, all of them in the Fire except for one, and it is the Jama'ah (the united group).' And there will emerge from my Ummah people who will trade with their desires just as the dog trades with its tongue. Not a vein or joint will remain except that they will enter it. By Allah, O Arabs, if you do not adhere to what Muhammad ﷺ came with, then there is nothing more deserving for you not to adhere to."
