Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "Anyone who does not show mercy to our children nor acknowledge the right of our old people is not one of us."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا وَيَعْرِفْ حَقَّ كَبِيرِنَا فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا

'Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As reported that it reached him that the Prophet ﷺ said, "Anyone who does not show mercy to our children nor acknowledge the right of our old people is not one of us."

النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا وَيَعْرِفْ حَقَّ كَبِيرِنَا فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا

The same from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَعْرِفْ حَقَّ كَبِيرِنَا وَيَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا

The same from Abu Umama.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا وَيُجِلَّ كَبِيرَنَا فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا

Same as 354.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا وَيُوَقِّرْ كَبِيرَنَا

'Amr ibn Shu'ayb reported from his grandfather that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Anyone who does not show mercy to our children nor acknowledge the right of our old people is not one of us."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا وَيَعْرِفْ حَقَّ كَبِيرِنَا

The Prophet ﷺ said: Those who do not show mercy to our young ones and do not realise the right of our elders are not from us.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا وَيَعْرِفْ حَقَّ كَبِيرِنَا فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا

" He is not one of us who does not have mercy upon our young, respect our elders, and command good and forbid evil."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا وَيُوَقِّرْ كَبِيرَنَا وَيَأْمُرْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "He is not one of us who does not show mercy to our young ones and recognize the rights of our elders."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا وَيَعْرِفْ حَقَّ كَبِيرِنَا

[AI] The translation of the Arabic phrase "أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَعْرِفْ حَقَّ كَبِيرِنَا وَيَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا" into English is "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'He is not one of us who does not recognize the rights of our elders and have mercy upon our young ones.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَعْرِفْ حَقَّ كَبِيرِنَا وَيَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا

The Prophet ﷺ said: Those who do not show mercy to our young ones and do not realise the right of our elders are not from us. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4943)

النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا وَيَعْرِفْ حَقَّ كَبِيرِنَا فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "They are not of my nation who do not honor our elders, have mercy upon our young ones, and acknowledge the rights of our scholars." Abdullah said, "I heard it and I am from Harun."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَيْسَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي مَنْ لَمْ يُجِلَّ كَبِيرَنَا وَيَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا وَيَعْرِفْ لِعَالِمِنَا قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ هَارُونَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Witr (an odd number of units in the night prayer) is a duty, so whoever does not perform it is not from us." He repeated this statement three times.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْوَتْرُ حَقٌّ فَمَنْ لَمْيُوتِرْ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا قَالَهَا ثَلَاثًا

The Prophet ﷺ said: Those who do not show mercy to our young ones and do not realise the right of our elders are not from us. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4943)

النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا وَيَعْرِفْ حَقَّ كَبِيرِنَا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Witr (odd-numbered prayers) is a right, so whoever does not perform Witr is not among us."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْوِتْرُ حَقٌّ فَمَنْ لَمْ يُوتِرْ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا»

The Prophet ﷺ said: Those who do not show mercy to our young ones and do not realise the right of our elders are not from us. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4943)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا وَيَعْرِفْ حَقَّ كَبِيرِنَا فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever deceives us is not one of us, and deception and trickery are in the fire."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ غَشَّنَا فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا وَالْمَكْرُ وَالْخِدَاعُ فِي النَّارِ»

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever does not trim his mustache, he is not from one of us.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 13)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ لَمْ يَأْخُذْ شَارِبَهُ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever deceives us is not one of us, and deceit and trickery are in Hellfire."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ غَشَّنَا فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا وَالْمَكْرُ وَالْخِدَاعُ فِي النَّارِ» *

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا وَيُجِلَّ كَبِيرَنَا وَيَفِ لِعَالِمِنَا

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever does not trim his mustache, he is not from one of us.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 13)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَأْخُذْ مِنْ شَارِبِهِ»

“Whoever bears weapons against us is not one of us.'” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2576)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ حَمَلَ عَلَيْنَا السِّلَاحَ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "The upper hand is better than the lower hand."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «الْيَدُ الْعُلْيَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْيَدِ السُّفْلَى»

[AI] Narrated by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , he said, "He is not one of us who does not show respect to our elders and have compassion for our youngsters."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَجِلَّ كَبِيرَنَا وَيَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever does not show respect to our elders and have mercy on our youngsters is not one of us."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ لَمْ يُجِلَّ كَبِيرَنَا وَيَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever deceives us is not one of us, and deceit and trickery are in the Hellfire."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ غَشَّنَا فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا وَالْمَكْرُ وَالْخِدَاعُ فِي النَّارِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "He is not one of us who does not show respect to the elderly, have mercy on the young, enjoin what is good, and forbid what is evil."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يُوَقِّرِ الْكَبِيرَ وَيَرْحَمِ الصَّغِيرَ وَيَأْمُرْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever does not show mercy to our young ones, honor our elders, and acknowledge our rights is not one of us."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا وَيُوَقِّرْ كَبِيرَنَا وَيَعْرِفْ لَنَا حَقَّنَا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "He is not one of us who does not show mercy to our young ones and does not respect our elderly."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا وَيُجِلُّ كَبِيرِنَا»

"الْبَرَكَةُ في أَكَابِرِنَا، فَمَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَعيرنا ويُجِلَّ كَبِيرَنا فَلَيسَ منا" .

"لَيس مِنَّا مَنْ لَم يرحمْ صَغِيرَنا وَيُوَقِّر كَبِيرَنا".

"لَيسَ مِنَّا مَن لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا، وَيَعرفْ شرفَ كبِيرِنا".

"لَيسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يُجِلَّ كَبِيرَنا، وَيَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنا".

"لَيسَ منّا مَن لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغيرَنَا وَيُوَقِّرْ كَبيرَنا وَيَأْمُرْ بالْمَعْروف وَيَنْه عَنْ المُنكرِ".

"لَيسَ مِنَّا مَن لَّم يُوَقِّرْ كَبِيرَنَا وَيَرْحَمْ صَغيرَنَا، وَيُجِلَّ عَالِمَنَا".

"لَيسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا وَيُوَقِّرْ كبِيرَنَا، وَيَعْرِفْ لَنَا حَقَّنَا".

"مَنْ لَمْ يُجِلَّ كَبِيرَنَا، وَيَرِقَّ لِصَغِيرِنَا، وَيَرْحَمْ ذَا الرَّحِمِ مِنَّا فَلَسْنَا منْهُ وَلَيسَ مِنَّا".

"مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا، وَيَعْرِفْ حَقَّ كَبِيرِنَا فَلَيسَ مِنَّا".
