The Prophet ﷺ said: Those who do not show mercy to our young ones and do not realise the right of our elders are not from us.  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا وَيَعْرِفْ حَقَّ كَبِيرِنَا فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا  

" He is not one of us who does not have mercy upon our young, respect our elders, and command good and forbid evil."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا وَيُوَقِّرْ كَبِيرَنَا وَيَأْمُرْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ  

[Machine] Narrated by Ibn Abbas, who said that the Prophet ﷺ said: "He is not one of us who does not show respect to the elderly, have mercy towards the young, command what is right, and forbid what is wrong."  

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يُوَقِّرِ الْكَبِيرَ وَيَرْحَمِ الصَّغِيرَ وَيَأْمُرْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَى عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ  

[Machine] The translation of the Arabic phrase "أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَعْرِفْ حَقَّ كَبِيرِنَا وَيَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا" into English is "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'He is not one of us who does not recognize the rights of our elders and have mercy upon our young ones.'"  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَعْرِفْ حَقَّ كَبِيرِنَا وَيَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "He is not one of us who does not show mercy to our young ones and recognize the rights of our elders."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا وَيَعْرِفْ حَقَّ كَبِيرِنَا  

The Prophet ﷺ said: Those who do not show mercy to our young ones and do not realise the right of our elders are not from us. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4943)

[Machine] On the authority of Ibn Abbas, who said: "The Prophet ﷺ said, 'He is not one of us who does not show respect to the elderly, have mercy on the young, command what is good, and forbid what is evil.'"  

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَفَعَهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يُوَقِّرِ الْكَبِيرَ وَيَرْحَمِ الصَّغِيرَ وَيَأْمُرْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ»  

[Machine] Narrated by Ibn Abbas, he reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "He is not one of us who does not respect the elderly, show mercy to the young, command what is good, and forbid what is evil."  

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَفَعَهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يُوَقِّرِ الْكَبِيرَ وَيَرْحَمِ الصَّغِيرَ وَيَأْمُرْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "He is not one of us who does not show respect to the elderly, have mercy on the young, enjoin what is good, and forbid what is evil."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يُوَقِّرِ الْكَبِيرَ وَيَرْحَمِ الصَّغِيرَ وَيَأْمُرْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever does not show mercy to our young ones, honor our elders, and acknowledge our rights is not one of us."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا وَيُوَقِّرْ كَبِيرَنَا وَيَعْرِفْ لَنَا حَقَّنَا»  

"لَيس مِنَّا مَنْ لَم يرحمْ صَغِيرَنا وَيُوَقِّر كَبِيرَنا".  

"لَيسَ مِنَّا مَن لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا، وَيَعرفْ شرفَ كبِيرِنا".  

"لَيسَ مِنَّا مَن لَّم يُوَقِّرْ كَبِيرَنَا وَيَرْحَمْ صَغيرَنَا، وَيُجِلَّ عَالِمَنَا".  

"لَيسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا وَيُوَقِّرْ كبِيرَنَا، وَيَعْرِفْ لَنَا حَقَّنَا".
