Abu Musa al-Ash'ari reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Anyone who plays backgammon has rebelled against Allah and His Messenger."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ لَعِبَ بِالنَّرْدِ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ

Abu Musa reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "Anyone who plays backgammon has rebelled against Allah and His Messenger."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ لَعِبَ بِالنَّرْدِ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ

The worst food is that of a wedding banquet to which only the rich are invited while the poor are not invited. And he who refuses an invitation (to a banquet) disobeys Allah and His Apostle .

أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ شَرُّ الطَّعَامِ طَعَامُ الْوَلِيمَةِ يُدْعَى لَهَا الأَغْنِيَاءُ وَيُتْرَكُ الْفُقَرَاءُ وَمَنْ تَرَكَ الدَّعْوَةَ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ﷺ

The worst kind of food is the wedding feast to which the rich are invited and the poor are ignored. He who does not come to the feast, he in fact disobeys Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.

أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ بِئْسَ الطَّعَامُ طَعَامُ الْوَلِيمَةِ يُدْعَى إِلَيْهِ الأَغْنِيَاءُ وَيُتْرَكُ الْمَسَاكِينُ فَمَنْ لَمْ يَأْتِ الدَّعْوَةَ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ

Abu Haraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Apostle ﷺ as saying. The worst kind of food is at the wedding feast from which one who comes is turned away, and he who refuses it is invited, and he who did not accept the invitation disobeyed Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ شَرُّ الطَّعَامِ طَعَامُ الْوَلِيمَةِ يُمْنَعُهَا مَنْ يَأْتِيهَا وَيُدْعَى إِلَيْهَا مَنْ يَأْبَاهَا وَمَنْ لَمْ يُجِبِ الدَّعْوَةَ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ

The worst kind of food is that at a wedding feast to which the rich are invited and from which the poor are left out. If anyone does not attend the feast to which he was invited, he has disobeyed Allah and His Apostle (may peace upon him).

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ شَرُّ الطَّعَامِ طَعَامُ الْوَلِيمَةِ يُدْعَى إِلَيْه الْأَغْنِيَاءُ وَيُتْرَكُ الْمَسَاكِينُ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَأْتِ الدَّعْوَةَ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ

[AI] "The worst kind of food is the food served at a banquet, which is only offered to the rich and not to the poor, and this is unjust. Whoever neglects it has indeed disobeyed [God] and is considered arrogant. Perhaps he said: 'Whoever does not respond to the invitation has indeed disobeyed Allah and His Messenger.'

شَرُّ الطَّعَامِ طَعَامُ الْعُرْسِ يُطْعَمُهُ الْأَغْنِيَاءُ وَيُمْنَعُهُ الْمَسَاكِينُ وَمَنْ لَمْ يُجِبْ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever plays with dice has disobeyed Allah and His Messenger."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ لَعِبَ بِالْكِعَابِ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever plays backgammon has disobeyed Allah and His Messenger.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3762)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ لَعِبَ بِالنَّرْدِ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ

[AI] On the authority of Abu Murrah, the freed slave of Aqeel, in what I know from Abu Musa, from the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "Whoever plays with dice has indeed disobeyed Allah and His Messenger."

عَنْ أَبِي مُرَّةَ مَوْلَى عَقِيلٍ فِيمَا أَعْلَمُ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ لَعِبَ بِالنَّرْدِ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever plays backgammon has disobeyed Allah and His Messenger.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3762)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ لَعِبَ بِالنَّرْدِ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ لَعِبَ بِالنَّرْدِ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibr. Shihab from al-Araj that Abu Hurayra said, "The worst food is the food of a wedding feast to which the rich are invited and the poor are left out. If anyone rejects an invitation, he has rebelled against Allah and His Messenger."

أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ شَرُّ الطَّعَامِ طَعَامُ الْوَلِيمَةِ يُدْعَى لَهَا الأَغْنِيَاءُ وَيُتْرَكُ الْمَسَاكِينُ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَأْتِ الدَّعْوَةَ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Musa ibn Maysara from Said ibn Abi Hind from Abu Musa al-Ashari that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever plays games of dice has disobeyed Allah and His Messenger. "

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ لَعِبَ بِالنَّرْدِ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ لَعِبَ بِالنَّرْدِ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ»

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ لَعِبَ بِالنَّرْدِ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ

قال شر الطعام طعام الوليمة يدعى إليها الغني ويترك الفقير وَمَنْ لم يجبه فقد عصى الله ورسوله وغير أيوب عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن الأَعرَج عَن أبي هُرَيرة

عَنِ النَّبِي ﷺ قَالَ شَرُّ الطعام طعام الوليمة يدعى الأغنياء ويمنع الفقراء ومن لم يجب فقد عصى الله ورسوله<

[AI] About the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ? He said, "Yes, about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ «بَلْ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ»

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever plays with dice has disobeyed Allah and His Messenger, and likewise..."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ لَعِبَ بِالنَّرْدِ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَكَذَلِكَ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever plays with dice has indeed disobeyed Allah and His Messenger, and likewise."

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَنْ لَعِبَ بِالنَّرْدِ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَكَذَلِكَ

"بِئسَ الطَّعَامُ طعامُ الوليمةِ، يُدْعَى إِليها الأغنياءُ، وَيُمْنعُ الفقراءُ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يُجِبْ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللهَ وَرَسُولَه".

"شَرُّ الطَّعامِ طَعامُ الْولِيمةِ؛ يُدْعى إِلَيْهَا الأَغْنِياءُ ويمْنَعُهَا الْمساكِينُ، ومنْ لَمْ يُجِبِ الدَّعْوةَ فَقَدْ عَصَى الله ورسوُلَهُ".

"شَرُّ الطَّعامِ طَعامُ الْولِيمةِ يُدْعى الْغَنىُّ ويُتْركُ الْمِسْكِينُ، وهِى حقٌّ ومنْ تَركَهَا فَقَدْ عَصَى الله ورسُولَهُ".

"شَرُّ الطَّعامِ طَعَامُ الْولِيمةِ؛ يُمْنَعُهَا من يأْتِيها، ويُدْعى إِلَيْهَا مَنْ يأباها، ومَنْ لَا يُجب الدَّعْوةَ فَقَدْ عَصَى الله وَرَسُولَهُ".

"من لعِب بالكِعاب، فقد عَصَى الله ورسُولَهُ".

"مَنْ لَعِبَ بِالنَّرْدِ فَقَدْ عَصَى الله وَرَسُولَهُ".
