The Prophet ﷺ said: ʿWere it not that it would be too difficult for the ummah, I would have commanded them to use the siwak at the time of every prayer.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 607)   

أحمد:٢٦٧٦٣حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ رُكَانَةَ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِي الْجَرَّاحِ مَوْلَى أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ أَنَّهَا حَدَّثَتْهُ قَالَتْ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي لَأَمَرْتُهُمْ بِالسِّوَاكِ عِنْدَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ كَمَا يَتَوَضَّئُونَ

[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, "Whoever prays four units (Raka'at) before Dhuhr (midday prayer) and four units after it, Allah forbids the fire from his flesh. I have not left praying them since I heard about them."  

أحمد:٢٦٧٦٤حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنْ حَسَّانَ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ قَالَلَمَّا نَزَلَ بِعَنْبَسَةَ بْنَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ الْمَوْتُ اشْتَدَّ جَزَعُهُ فَقِيلَ لَهُ مَا هَذَا الْجَزَعُ؟ قَالَ أَمَا إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ يَعْنِي أُخْتَهُ تَقُولُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ صَلَّى أَرْبَعًا قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَأَرْبَعًا بَعْدَهَا حَرَّمَ اللهُ لَحْمَهُ عَلَى النَّارِ فَمَا تَرَكْتُهُنَّ مُنْذُ سَمِعْتُهُنَّ

[Machine] She went to Umm Habiba bint Abi Sufyan and said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: 'It is not permissible for a believing woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to mourn for the dead for more than three days, except for her husband for four months and ten days.' Abu 'Abdur-Rahman said: My father, Humaid bin Nafi', narrated to me from Abu Aflah, who was also called Humaidas-Safir.

أَنَّهَا دَخَلَتْ عَلَى أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ فَقَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرَأَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ أَنْ تُحِدَّ عَلَى مَيِّتٍ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثِ لَيَالٍ إِلَّا عَلَى زَوْجٍ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ أَبِي حُمَيْدُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ أَبُو أَفْلَحَ وَهُوَ حُمَيْدٌ صَفِيرَا

[Machine] Hamim, the husband of Umm Habiba, passed away. She raised her voice and wiped her arms, saying, "I only do this because I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , say that it is not permissible for a Muslim woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to observe mourning for more than three days, except for her husband, for a period of four months and ten days." This statement was narrated by Zainab from her mother and from Zainab, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ , or from one of the wives of the Prophet ﷺ .

تُوُفِّيَ حَمِيمٌ لِأُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ فَدَعَتْ بِصُفْرَةٍ فَمَسَحَتْ بِذِرَاعَيْهَا وَقَالَتْ إِنَّمَا أَصْنَعُ هَذَا لِشَيْءٍ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَقَالَ حَجَّاجٌ لِأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرَأَةٍ مُسْلِمَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ أَنْ تُحِدَّ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ إِلَّا عَلَى زَوْجِهَا أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا وَحَدَّثَتْهُ زَيْنَبُ عَنْ أُمِّهَا وَعَنْ زَيْنَبَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَوْ عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْ بَعْضِ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ , that whenever he heard the Mu'adhin (caller to prayer) calling the adhan (call to prayer), he would say the same words as he said, until he would stop.

“Whoever performs twelve Rak’ah (of Sunnah) during the day and night, a house will be built for him in Paradise.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1141)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ صَلَّى فِي يَوْمٍ ثِنْتَيْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً بَنَى اللهُ لَهُ أَوْ بُنِيَ لَهُ بَيْتٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ صَلَّى فِي يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ ثِنْتَيْ عَشْرَةَ سَجْدَةً سِوَى الْمَكْتُوبَةِ بُنِيَ لَهُ بَيْتٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ

[Machine] Abdullah ibn Umar narrated that Umm Habibah, the wife of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, told him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The angels do not accompany a caravan that has a bell."

أَنَّ أَبَا الْجَرَّاحِ مَوْلَى أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ حَدَّثَ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ أَنَّ أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ الْعِيرَ الَّتِي فِيهَا الْجَرَسُ لَا تَصْحَبُهَا الْمَلَائِكَةُ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Angels do not accompany a group that includes a bell."  

أحمد:٢٦٧٧١حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يُحَدِّثُ يَعْنِي أَبَاهُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ الْهَادِ أَنَّ سَالِمَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا الْجَرَّاحِ مَوْلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ حَدَّثَتْهُ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تَصْحَبُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ قَوْمًا فِيهِمْ جَرَسٌ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say: "Whoever prays four rak'ahs before Zuhr and four after, Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, will forbid him from the Fire." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1814)   

أحمد:٢٦٧٧٢حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى أَخْبَرَنِي مَكْحُولٌ أَنَّ مَوْلًى لِعَنْبَسَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ عَنْبَسَةَ بْنَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ

أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ صَلَّى أَرْبَعًا قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَأَرْبَعًا بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ حَرَّمَهُ اللهُ عَلَى النَّارِ

[Machine] "He entered upon Umm Habiba, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, and she offered him a cup of drink made from Sawiq. He called for water and performed ablution, so she said to him, 'O nephew of mine, why don't you perform ghusl (ritual bath)? Verily, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Perform ablution with water that has touched fire or been altered."' "  

أحمد:٢٦٧٧٣حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ يَزِيدَ الْعَطَّارَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ

أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَسَقَتْهُ قَدَحًا مِنْ سَوِيقٍ فَدَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَمَضْمَضَ فَقَالَتْ لَهُ يَا ابْنَ أَخِي أَلَا تَتَوَضَّأُ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ تَوَضَّئُوا مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ أَوْ غَيَّرَتْ

"I was told that Umm Habibah bin Abi Sufyan said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Whoever prays twelve rak'ahs during the day and night, apart from the prescribed prayers, Allah (SWT) will build for him a house in Paradise.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1796)   

أحمد:٢٦٧٧٤حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ غَيْلَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُفَضَّلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ فَضَالَةَ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَنْبَسَةُ بْنُ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ تَقُولُ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ صَلَّى ثِنْتَيْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً فِي لَيْلِهِ وَنَهَارِهِ غَيْرَ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ بَنَى اللهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ

[Machine] Sufyan narrated from his sister, Umm Habibah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ , that she heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "Any Muslim servant who prays to Allah (SWT) twelve voluntary rak'ahs every day, other than the obligatory prayers, Allah will build a house for him in Paradise or Allah will construct a house for him in Paradise using these rak'ahs." Umm Habibah said, "After hearing this, I never stopped praying them." And 'Amr said, "I never stopped praying them either." And Nu'man said the same.  

أحمد:٢٦٧٧٥حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَوْسٍ عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ بْنِ أَبِي

سُفْيَانَعَنْ أُخْتِهِ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُسْلِمٍ يُصَلِّي لِلَّهِ ﷻ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ ثِنْتَيْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً تَطَوُّعًا غَيْرَ فَرِيضَةٍ إِلَّا بُنِيَ لَهُ بَيْتٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَوْ بَنَى الله ﷻ لَهُ بِهِنَّ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ فَقَالَتْ أُمُّ حَبِيبَةَ فَمَا بَرِحْتُ أُصَلِّيهِنَّ بَعْدُ وقَالَ عَمْرٌو مَا بَرِحْتُ أُصَلِّيهِنَّ بَعْدُ وقَالَ النُّعْمَانُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ

[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ arrived at it from a gathering during the night."  

أحمد:٢٦٧٧٦حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءٌ عَنِ ابْنِ شَوَّالٍ أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ فَأَخْبَرَتْهُ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَدِمَهَا مِنْ جَمْعٍ بِلَيْلٍ

The Prophet ﷺ said: The angels do not go with a travelling company in which there is a bell. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2554)  

أحمد:٢٦٧٧٧حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْجَرَّاحِ عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تَصْحَبُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ رُفْقَةً فِيهَا جَرَسٌ

[Machine] "And his aunt said, 'She made me drink a glass of wine, then she said, 'Do not leave until you perform ablution, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say,' Perform ablution from what fire has touched.'"  

أحمد:٢٦٧٧٨حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ بْنِ أَخْنَسَ عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

وَكَانَتْ خَالَتَهُ قَالَ سَقَتْنِي سَوِيقًا ثُمَّ قَالَتْ لَا تَخْرُجْ حَتَّى تَتَوَضَّأَ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ تَوَضَّئُوا مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ

"Perform Wudu' from that which has been heated with fire." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 178)   

أحمد:٢٦٧٧٩حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ تَوَضَّئُوا مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ

[Machine] The Prophet (PBUH) said, "Indeed, angels do not accompany a donkey that has a bell."  

أحمد:٢٦٧٨٠حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَبِي جَرَّاحٍ مَوْلَى أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ الْعِيرَ الَّتِي فِيهَا جَرَسٌ لَا تَصْحَبُهَا الْمَلَائِكَةُ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no Muslim servant who performs ablution, perfects it, and then prays to Allah every day twelve voluntary rak'ahs except that a house is built for him in Paradise." Umm Habibah said, "I have continued praying them after that." Anbasah said, "I have continued praying them after that." 'Amr ibn Aws said, "I have continued praying them." Nu'man said, "And I hardly ever omit them." Ibn Ja'far reported from Anbasah bin Abi Sufyan from Umm Habibah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ , that she heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "There is no Muslim servant who prays to Allah every day twelve voluntary rak'ahs, other than the obligatory ones, except that his likeness is such as that."  

أحمد:٢٦٧٨١حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ وَابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ أَوْسٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ قَالَتْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُسْلِمٍ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَسْبَغَ الْوُضُوءَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى لِلَّهِ ﷻ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ ثِنْتَيْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً إِلَّا بُنِيَ لَهُ بَيْتٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ قَالَتْ أُمُّ حَبِيبَةَ فَمَا زِلْتُ أُصَلِّيهِنَّ بَعْدُ وقَالَ عَنْبَسَةُ فَمَا زِلْتُ أُصَلِّيهِنَّ بَعْدُ وقَالَ عَمْرُو بْنُ أَوْسٍ فَمَا زِلْتُ أُصَلِّيهِنَّ قَالَ النُّعْمَانُ وَأَنَا لَا أَكَادُ أَدَعُهُنَّ قَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُسْلِمٍ يُصَلِّي لِلَّهِ ﷻ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ ثِنْتَيْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً تَطَوُّعًا غَيْرَ فَرِيضَةٍ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

[Machine] I entered upon Umm Habiba and she offered me some water to drink. She then said, "Don't you want to perform ablution?" I replied, "I have not touched anything impure." She said, "Verily, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Perform ablution from what the fire has touched.'"

[Machine] I entered the house of my beloved mother and her aunt was there. She offered me a drink of barley water. When I got up, she said to me, "My son, do not pray until you perform ablution, for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has commanded us to perform ablution from whatever touches fire from food."

[Machine] That her father married her while she was unwilling and she was previously married, so the Prophet ﷺ nullified their marriage.

أَنَّ أَبَاهَا زَوَّجَهَا وَهِيَ كَارِهَةٌ وَكَانَتْ ثَيِّبًا فَرَدَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ نِكَاحَهُ

[Machine] That Hensaa was married by her father, but she disliked that, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned her.  

أحمد:٢٦٧٨٧حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ يَحْيَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ وَمُجَمِّعٍ شَيْخَيْنِ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ

أَنَّ خَنْسَاءَ أَنْكَحَهَا أَبُوهَا وَكَرِهَتْ ذَلِكَ فَرَدَّهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

[Machine] "He married off his daughter while she was unwilling, so she went to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, my father married me off while I was unwilling.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then returned her to her father's marriage."

زَوَّجَ خِدَامٌ ابْنَتَهُ وَهِيَ كَارِهَةٌ فَأَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ أَبِي زَوَّجَنِي وَأَنَا كَارِهَةٌ قَالَ فَرَدَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ نِكَاحَ أَبِيهَا

that a man among them who was called Khidam arranged a marriage for his daughter, and she did not like the marriage arranged by her father. She went to the Messenger of Allah and told him about that, and he annulled the marriage arranged by her father. Then she married Abu Lubabah bin Abdul-Mundhir. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1873)

[Machine] To approach Abu Lubaba and her father except by compelling her to accept the marriage contract until their matter is referred to the Messenger of Allah. The Messenger of Allah said, "She has more right to decide her own affairs." So, let her join her husband (Abu Lubaba)." Then, she was separated from Al-Awfi and married Abu Lubaba, and she gave birth to Abu Al-Sa'ib ibn Abu Lubaba.  

أحمد:٢٦٧٩٠قَرَأْتُ عَلَى يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ بْنِ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُنْذِرِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ أَنَّ جَدَّتَهُ أُمَّ السَّائِبِ خُنَاسَ بِنْتِ خِذَامِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ كَانَتْ عِنْدَ رَجُلٍ قَبْلَ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ تَأَيَّمَتْ مِنْهُ فَزَوَّجَهَا أَبُوهَا خِذَامُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفِ بْنِ الْخَزْرَجِ فَأَبَتْ إِلَّا

أَنْ تَحُطَّ إِلَى أَبِي لُبَابَةَ وَأَبَى أَبُوهَا إِلَّا أَنْ يُلْزِمَهَا الْعَوْفِيَّ حَتَّى ارْتَفَعَ أَمْرُهُمَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ هِيَ أَوْلَى بِأَمْرِهَا فَأَلْحِقْهَا بِهَوَاهَا قَالَ فَانْتُزِعَتْ مِنَ الْعَوْفِيِّ وَتَزَوَّجَتْ أَبَا لُبَابَةَ فَوَلَدَتْ لَهُ أَبَا السَّائِبِ بْنَ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ  

ahmad:26791ʿAbdullāh > Abay Yazīd b. Hārūn > Muḥammad / Ibn Isḥāq > al-Ḥajjāj b. al-Sāʾib b. Abū Lubābah

[Machine] Khanas, the daughter of Khidam, was betrothed to a man, but her father married her off to a man from the Banu Awf. She refused and was determined to be with Abi Lubabah. Her father insisted that she marry the Awfi man, but she refused until the matter was brought to the Prophet ﷺ. He said that she had the right to decide for herself, so she married Abu Lubabah and gave birth to Abu Al-Sa'ib.  

أحمد:٢٦٧٩١[قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ] قَرَأْتُ عَلَى أَبَي يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ قَالَ

كَانَتْ خُنَاسُ بِنْتُ خِذَامٍ عِنْدَ رَجُلٍ تَأَيَّمَتْ مِنْهُ فَزَوَّجَهَا أَبُوهَا رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي عَوْفٍ وَحَطَّتْ هِيَ إِلَى أَبِي لُبَابَةَ فَأَبَى أَبُوهَا إِلَّا أَنْ يُلْزِمَهَا الْعَوْفِيَّ وَأَبَتْ هِيَ حَتَّى ارْتَفَعَ شَأْنُهُمَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ هِيَ أَوْلَى بِأَمْرِهَا فَأَلْحِقْهَا بِهَوَاهَا فَتَزَوَّجَتْ أَبَا لُبَابَةَ فَوَلَدَتْ لَهُ أَبَا السَّائِبِ

[Machine] "For the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , in al-Makhzumiyyah, she stole a Qateefa valued at forty ounces, so the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, 'It is better for her to be purified.' So her hand was cut off, and she was from Banu Abd al-Ashhal or Banu Abd al-Asad."  

أحمد:٢٦٧٩٢حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ عَنْ يَزِيدَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ رُكَانَةَ أَنَّ خَالَتَهُ أُخْتَ مَسْعُودِ ابْنِ الْعَجْمَاءِ حَدَّثَتْهُ أَنَّ أَبَاهَا قَالَ

لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الْمَخْزُومِيَّةِ الَّتِي سَرَقَتْ قَطِيفَةً نَفْدِيهَا بِأَرْبَعِينَ أُوقِيَّةً فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَأَنْ تَطَّهَّرَ خَيْرٌ لَهَا فَأَمَرَ بِهَا فَقُطِعَتْ يَدُهَا وَهِيَ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ أَوْ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَسَدِ

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "If I wanted, I could have kissed the seal that is between his shoulders from close proximity to him." He said, "The Arsh of the Most Merciful, the Exalted, shook for him, wanting Sa'd ibn Mu'adh on the day he passed away."  

أحمد:٢٦٧٩٣حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ الْمَاجِشُونِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ رُمَيْثَةَ قَالَتْ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ وَلَوْ أَشَاءُ أَنْ أُقَبِّلَ الْخَاتَمَ الَّذِي بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْهِ مِنْ قُرْبِي مِنْهُ لَفَعَلْتُ يَقُولُ اهْتَزَّ لَهُ عَرْشُ الرَّحْمَنِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى يُرِيدُ سَعْدَ بْنَ مُعَاذٍ يَوْمَ تُوُفِّيَ

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mention something similar.  

أحمد:٢٦٧٩٤حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْهَاشِمِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ الْمَاجِشُونِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ الظَّفَرِيِّ عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ رُمَيْثَةَ قَالَتْ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ passed by a dead sheep belonging to Maymunah and said, "Why don't you take its hide and tan it to benefit from it?" They replied, "O Messenger of Allah, it is dead." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Its meat is only prohibited." Sufyan said, "I have only heard this statement from Az-Zuhri that its meat is prohibited." Abdullah said, "My father said that Sufyan mentioned it twice from Maymunah."  

أحمد:٢٦٧٩٥حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَرَّ بِشَاةٍ لِمَوْلَاةٍ لِمَيْمُونَةَ مَيِّتَةٍ فَقَالَ أَلَا أَخَذُوا إِهَابَهَا فَدَبَغُوهُ فَانْتَفَعُوا بِهِ؟ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّهَا مَيْتَةٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّمَا حُرِّمَ أَكْلُهَا قَالَ سُفْيَانُ هَذِهِ الْكَلِمَةُ لَمْ أَسْمَعْهَا إِلَّا مِنَ الزُّهْرِيِّ حُرِّمَ أَكْلُهَا قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ قَالَ أَبِي قَالَ سُفْيَانُ مَرَّتَيْنِ عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ

a mouse fell into some cooking fat and died. The Prophet was asked (about that) and he said: "Throw it away, and whatever is around it, and eat (the rest)." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4258)

أَنَّ فَأْرَةً وَقَعَتْ فِي سَمْنٍ فَمَاتَتْ فَسُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ قَالَ خُذُوهَا وَمَا حَوْلَهَا فَأَلْقُوهُ وَكُلُوهُ

"The Messenger of Allah and I would take a bath from a single vessel." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 376)  

أحمد:٢٦٧٩٧حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ جَابِرٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ قَالَتْ

كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ  

ahmad:26798Abū Muʿāwiyah > al-Aʿmash > Sālim b. Abū al-Jaʿd > Kurayb > Ibn ʿAbbās > Maymūnah b. al-Ḥārith

"When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed Ghusl from Janabah, he would start by washing his hands, then he would pour water with his right hand onto his left and wash his private part, then he would strike his hand on the ground then wipe it then wash it. Then he would perform Wudu' as for prayer, then he would pour water on his head and all of his body. Then he would move and wash his feet." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 419)  

أحمد:٢٦٧٩٨حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَتْ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا اغْتَسَلَ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ يَبْدَأُ فَيَغْسِلُ يَدَيْهِ ثُمَّ يُفْرِغُ بِيَمِينِهِ عَلَى شِمَالِهِ فَيَغْسِلُ فَرْجَهُ ثُمَّ يَضْرِبُ بِيَدِهِ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ فَيَمْسَحُهَا ثُمَّ يَغْسِلُهَا ثُمَّ يَتَوَضَّأُ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ ثُمَّ يُفْرِغُ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ وَعَلَى سَائِرِ جَسَدِهِ ثُمَّ يَتَنَحَّى فَيَغْسِلُ رِجْلَيْهِ

[Machine] This translates to: "On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, something similar to him."

[Machine] "Narrated by Maymunah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ , she said, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ woke up feeling unwell one morning. So, it was said to him, 'What is wrong with you, O Messenger of Allah? You woke up feeling unwell?' He replied, 'Gabriel promised to meet me, but he did not come, and he has never broken his promise to me. He did not come to me that night, nor the second night, nor the third night.' Then, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ blamed a female dog that was under our niche and he commanded it to be removed. He then took some water and washed the place where it had been. Gabriel ﷺ came and said, 'You promised me, yet I did not see you.' The Prophet ﷺ replied, 'We do not enter a house that has a dog or a picture.' On that day, he commanded the killing of dogs, even seeking permission to kill a small dog that was by the wall.'"

عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَتْ أَصْبَحَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَاثِرًا فَقِيلَ لَهُ مَا لَكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَصْبَحْتَ خَاثِرًا؟ قَالَ وَعَدَنِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ أَنْ يَلْقَانِي فَلَمْ يَلْقَنِي وَمَا أَخْلَفَنِي فَلَمْ يَأْتِهِ تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةَ وَلَا الثَّانِيَةَ وَلَا الثَّالِثَةَ ثُمَّ اتَّهَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ جَرْوَ كَلْبٍ كَانَ تَحْتَ نَضَدِنَا فَأَمَرَ بِهِ فَأُخْرِجَ ثُمَّ أَخَذَ مَاءً فَرَشَّ مَكَانَهُ فَجَاءَ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فَقَالَ وَعَدْتَنِي فَلَمْ أَرَكَ؟ قَالَ إِنَّا لَا نَدْخُلُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ كَلْبٌ وَلَا صُورَةٌ قَالَ فَأَمَرَ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِقَتْلِ الْكِلَابِ قَالَ حَتَّى كَانَ يُسْتَأْذَنُ فِي كَلْبِ الْحَائِطِ الصَّغِيرِ فَيَأْمُرُ بِهِ أَنْ يُقْتَلَ

[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ablution due to the merit of washing away impurity from it.  

أحمد:٢٦٨٠١حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ بِفَضْلِ غُسْلِهَا مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ  

ahmad:26802Hāshim b. al-Qāsim > Sharīk > Simāk > ʿIkrimah > Ibn ʿAbbās

[Machine] Narrated by Umm Maimoonah, the wife of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , she said: "I was in a state of ritual impurity (janabah) with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I bathed from a large container. Then, some of the water remained. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to bathe from it, and I told him that I had already bathed from it. He said, 'Verily, there is no ritual impurity on the water, nor is it contaminated by anything.' So, he bathed from it."  

أحمد:٢٦٨٠٢حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَتْ أَجْنَبْتُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَاغْتَسَلْتُ مِنْ جَفْنَةٍ فَفَضَلَتْ فَضْلَةٌ فَجَاءَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِيَغْتَسِلَ مِنْهَا فَقُلْتُ إِنِّي قَدْ اغْتَسَلْتُ مِنْهَا فَقَالَ إِنَّ الْمَاءَ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ جَنَابَةٌ أَوْ لَا يُنَجِّسُهُ شَيْءٌ فَاغْتَسَلَ مِنْهُ

[Machine] "Narrated by Maymuna, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ: She sought the advice of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ regarding a mouse that had fallen into their cooking fat which had solidified. He said, 'Throw it away along with what is around it and eat your fat.'"  

أحمد:٢٦٨٠٣حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهَا اسْتَفْتَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فِي فَأْرَةٍ سَقَطَتْ فِي سَمْنٍ لَهُمْ جَامِدٍ فَقَالَ أَلْقُوهَا وَمَا حَوْلَهَا وَكُلُوا سَمْنَكُمْ

[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ prayed while wearing a cloth (a wrapper) over some of his wives, and some of it was on them. Sufyan said, "I think he said that (they were) menstruating."  

أحمد:٢٦٨٠٤حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى وَعَلَيْهِ مِرْطٌ لِبَعْضِ نِسَائِهِوَعَلَيْهَا بَعْضُهُ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ أُرَاهُ قَالَ حَائِضٍ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray on Khumra. (Using translation from Bukhārī 381)  

أحمد:٢٦٨٠٥حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّيْبَانِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَتْ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي عَلَى الْخُمْرَةِ

[Machine] I heard my aunt, Maymuna bint Al-Harith, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ , say that she used to be in a state of menstruation while lying down on the prayer mat of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he would pray on it while she was on it. When he prostrated, part of his garment touched me.  

أحمد:٢٦٨٠٦حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ عِيسَى الرَّاسِبِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ شَدَّادِ بْنِ الْهَادِ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ خَالَتِي مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتَ الْحَارِثِ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَكُونُ حَائِضًا وَهِيَ مُفْتَرِشَةٌ بِحِذَاءِ مَسْجِدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي عَلَى خُمْرَتِهِ إِذَا سَجَدَ أَصَابَنِي طَرَفُ ثَوْبِهِ

[Machine] I heard Maymuna, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, say: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to stand up and pray at night, and I would be sleeping beside him. When he prostrated, his clothes would touch me, and I was menstruating."  

أحمد:٢٦٨٠٧حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ تَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺيَقُومُ فَيُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَأَنَا نَائِمَةٌ إِلَى جَنْبِهِ فَإِذَا سَجَدَ أَصَابَنِي ثِيَابُهُ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray on the Khumra (a small mat) and would prostrate, and his garment would touch me while I was on his side and I was menstruating.  

أحمد:٢٦٨٠٨حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ حَدَّثَنَا الشَّيْبَانِيُّ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْأَصَمِّ عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ قَالَتْ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي عَلَى الْخُمْرَةِ فَيَسْجُدُ فَيُصِيبُنِي ثَوْبُهُ وَأَنَا إِلَى جَنْبِهِ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ  

ahmad:26809Sufyān > Ibn al-Aṣam > ʿAbdullāh > Abū And Quriʾ > Sufyān Āsmuh ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿAbdullāh from my cousin Yazīd b. al-Aṣam > ʿAmmihiʿan Maymūnah Wahī Khālatuh

[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to prostrate, a sparrow would want to pass between his hands and fly away.  

أحمد:٢٦٨٠٩حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ الْأَصَمِّ [قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ] قَالَ أَبِي وَقُرِئَ عَلَى سُفْيَانَ اسْمُهُ عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ ابْنِ أَخِي يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْأَصَمِّ عَنْ عَمِّهِعَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ وَهِيَ خَالَتُهُ قَالَتْ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا سَجَدَ وَثَمَّ بَهْمَةٌ أَرَادَتْ أَنْ تَمُرَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ تَجَافَى

[Machine] "O my son, why is your head disheveled?" He replied, "My mother, Ammar's wife, is menstruating." She said, "Oh my son, where is menstruation located? Wasn't the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , coming to one of us while she was menstruating and placing his head on her lap to recite the Quran while she was menstruating? Then one of us would carry his turban and place it in the mosque while she was menstruating. Oh my son, where is menstruation located?"  

أحمد:٢٦٨١٠حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مَنْبُوذٍ عَنْ أُمِّهِ قَالَتْ كُنْتُ عِنْدَ مَيْمُونَةَ فَأَتَاهَا ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ فَقَالَتْ

يَا بُنَيَّ مَا لَكَ شَعِثًا رَأْسُكَ؟ قَالَ أُمُّ عَمَّارٍ مُرَجِّلَتِي حَائِضٌ قَالَتْ أَيْ بُنَيَّوَأَيْنَ الْحَيْضَةُ مِنَ الْيَدِ؟ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَدْخُلُ عَلَى إِحْدَانَا وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ فَيَضَعُ رَأْسَهُ فِي حِجْرِهَا فَيَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ ثُمَّ تَقُومُ إِحْدَانَا بِخُمْرَتِهِ فَتَضَعُهَا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ أَيْ بُنَيَّ وَأَيْنَ الْحَيْضَةُ مِنَ الْيَدِ؟

[Machine] And one of us used to spread out a mat for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while she was in her menses, and he used to pray on it.  

أحمد:٢٦٨١١حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مَنْبُوذٍ عَنْ أُمِّهِ سَمِعَتْهُ مِنْ مَيْمُونَةَ قَالَتْ

وَكَانَتْ إِحْدَانَا تَبْسُطُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الْخُمْرَةَ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي عَلَيْهَا

[Machine] I prayed behind Abu Al-Malih for a funeral prayer, and he said, "Arrange your rows and improve your intercession. Even if I were to choose someone, I would choose him." Then he said, "Abdullah bin Salil narrated to me" [Abdullah said], "My father narrated to us, and Abu Ubaydah Al-Haddad said, "Abdullah bin Salit narrated to me from some of the wives of the Prophet ﷺ , Maymuna, and her brother was from breastfeeding. They said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'No Muslim prays upon him except that they will intercede for him.'" Abu Al-Malih said, "The intercession is from forty to one hundred and beyond."  

أحمد:٢٦٨١٢حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَكَّارٍ قَالَ

صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ عَلَى جَنَازَةٍ فَقَالَ أَقِيمُوا صُفُوفَكُمْ وَلْتَحْسُنْ شَفَاعَتُكُمْ وَلَوْ اخْتَرْتُ رَجُلًا اخْتَرْتُهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَلِيلٍ [قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ] قَالَ أَبِي وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ الْحَدَّادُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَلِيطٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مَيْمُونَةَ وَكَانَ أَخَاهَا مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يُصَلِّي عَلَيْهِ أُمَّةٌ إِلَّا شُفِّعُوا فِيهِ وقَالَ أَبُو الْمَلِيحِ الْأُمَّةُ أَرْبَعُونَ إِلَى مِائَةٍ فَصَاعِدًا
