15.02. Rest of the Women
١٥.٠٢۔ مسند باقي النساء
[Machine] My husband went out in search of a cure for himself, but his enemies caught up with him before he reached them and killed him. When I received the news of his death, I was at a spacious house belonging to my family. I then went to the Prophet ﷺ and informed him about the situation, saying, "My husband's death occurred while I was in a spacious house belonging to my family, and he left no maintenance or inheritance for me, nor does the house belong to him. If I go back to my family and relatives, they will not treat me kindly in regard to my affairs." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Return to them." So, when I left for the mosque or my room, he called me or ordered someone to call me, and I went to him. He told me to stay in the house where my husband's death occurred until the waiting period prescribed by the Quran is completed. So, I stayed there for four months and ten days. Then, Uthman sent for me, and I informed him about my situation, and he accepted my request.
