[Machine] I entered upon the Prophet ﷺ with my son who had not eaten, so the Prophet ﷺ became concerned for him and called for some water, then he sprinkled it on him.
I brought my son to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while I had compressed his uvula for its swelling. He said : Why do you afflict your children by squeezing for a swelling in the Uvula ? Apply this Indian aloes wood, for it contain seven types of remedies, among them being a remedy for pleurisy. It is applied through the nose for a swelling of the uvula poured into the side of the mouth for pleurisy. Abu Dawud said : By aloes wood he meant costus. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3877)
"I asked the Messenger of Allah about menstrual blood that gets on clothing. He said, 'Wash it with water and lote leaves, and rub it, even with a piece of stick.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 628)
"My son died, and I felt very sad. I said to the one who was washing him: 'Do not wash my son with cold water and kill him." 'Ukashah bin Mihsan went to the Messenger of Allah and told him what she had said, and he smiled then said: "What did she say, may Allah give her long life?" And we do not know of any woman who lived as long as she lived. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1882)
[Machine] Narrated Umm Qais bint Mihsan al-Asadiyya, the sister of Ukkasha: "I came to the Prophet ﷺ with my son whom I had weaned, fearing that he might have an excuse. The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Why do you not rear your children on these?" pointing to his necklace. He meant the Kushth (a type of wood) which has seven knots on it, of which the thickest is in the middle, and he ﷺ took my child and placed him in the middle knot."
"I asked the Messenger of Allah about menstrual blood that gets on clothing. He said, 'Wash it with water and lote leaves, and rub it, even with a piece of stick.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 628)
"I asked the Messenger of Allah about menstrual blood that gets on clothing. He said, 'Wash it with water and lote leaves, and rub it, even with a piece of stick.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 628)
[Machine] They gave allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . So she informed me that she brought her son to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , who had not reached the age of eating food yet. He mentioned the narration and asked, "Why did you not bring your children along with you?"
[Machine] She came with her son, and she had hung a necklace on him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her, "Why do you hang your children with this necklace?" He then said to her, "You should use this Indian wood, as it has seven healing properties, including the healing of the side. Then, he took the child and blew into his mouth and called for water to clean him. Ibn Shihab said, "This became the practice after that."
