١٥.٠٢۔ مسند باقي النساء
"I was thinking of forbidding Ghilah until I remembered that it is done by the Persians and Romans" -(one of the narrators) Ishaq said: "(They) do that -and it does not harm their children." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3326)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ أَنْهَى عَنِ الْغِيلَةِ حَتَّى ذَكَرْتُ أَنَّ فَارِسَ وَالرُّومَ يَصْنَعُونَهُ فَلَا يَضُرُّ أَوْلَادَهُمْ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ أَنْهَى عَنِ الْغِيلَةِ حَتَّى ذَكَرْتُ أَنَّ فَارِسَ وَالرُّومَ يَفْعَلُونَ ذَلِكَ فَلَا يَضُرُّ أَوْلَادَهُمْ
[Machine] From Jidama bint Wahb al-Asadiyya, who was one of the early female migrants, she said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ being asked about seclusion and he said, "It is hidden affection."
عَنْ جُدَامَةَ بِنْتِ وَهْبٍ الْأَسَدِيَّةِ وَكَانَتْ مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرَاتِ الْأُوَلِ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَسُئِلَ عَنِ الْعَزْلِ فَقَالَ هُوَ الْوَأْدُ الْخَفِيُّ
حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْأَسْوَدِ فَذَكَرَهُ
