[Machine] About her and her waiting period ended, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ proposed to her. She said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have three qualities: I am an older woman." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I am older than you." She said, "I am a jealous woman." He said, "I invoke Allah to remove your jealousy." She said, "O Messenger of Allah, I am a woman who frequently gets sick." He said, "They are in the hands of Allah and His Messenger." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ married her. When he came to her, he found her breastfeeding, so he left. Then he came to her again and found her breastfeeding again, so he left. This matter reached Ammar ibn Yasir, so he came to her and said, "You have come between the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his need. Bring the baby girl here." He took her and breastfed her. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to her and said, "Where is Zainab?" She said, "O Messenger of Allah, Ammar took her and went in with her and said, 'You have a great honor with your family.' He stayed with her until evening and then said, 'If you wish, I will grant you seven turns, and if I grant you seven turns, I will grant the rest of my wives seven turns. And if you wish, I will divide it for you.' She said, 'No, rather you divide it for me.'"

'Ammar went to her and said, "Come to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as there is something he needs from you." He took her and breastfed her, and then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went to her and asked, "Where is Zunab?," meaning Zainab. She said, "O Messenger of Allah, 'Ammar took her and entered (into the room) with her saying, 'You have a higher status than your family.'" He stayed with her until evening prayers and then said, "If you wish, I will marry you and seven others, and if you wish, I will divide my time equally among all my wives, and if you wish, I will stay exclusively with you." She said, "No, but rather divide your time among all your wives."

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: "No Muslim is afflicted with a calamity and says 'Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return. O Allah, reward me in my affliction and replace it with something better,' except that Allah will grant him reward for his affliction and replace it with something better." She said: "So I said, 'Indeed Allah has rewarded me in my affliction, so who will replace me in the place of Abu Salama?' When her waiting period was over, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ proposed to her."

He (Abu Salama) said: "He struck the chest of Sulaymān and said: 'I bear witness that Umm Salama, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ , used to testify that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform ablution from what the fire touches."

‘By the One Who took his soul (i.e., the soul of the Prophet ﷺ), he did not die until he offered most of his prayers sitting down. And the dearest of the actions to him was the righteous action that the person does regularly, even if it were a little.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1225)

ahmad:26728ʿAffān > Hammām > Qatādah > al-Ḥasan > Ḍabbah b. Muḥṣin al-ʿAnzī > Um Salamah

In the near future there will be Amirs and you will like their good deeds and dislike their bad deeds. One who sees through their bad deeds (and tries to prevent their repetition by his band or through his speech), is absolved from blame, but one who hates their bad deeds (in the heart of his heart, being unable to prevent their recurrence by his hand or his tongue), is (also) fafe ( so far as God's wrath is concerned). But one who approves of their bad deeds and imitates them is spiritually ruined. People asked (the Holy Prophet): Shouldn't we fight against them? He replied: No, as long as they say their prayers. (Using translation from Muslim 1854a)

[Machine] It is narrated that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to leave his house, he would say, "Bismillah." Shu'bah, one of my greatest sources of knowledge, said that he had mentioned this and Sufyan also narrated it from him. There is no doubt about its authenticity. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from going astray or stumbling, from injustice or being subjected to injustice, from ignorance or being ignorant, or from being kept in the dark about something.
