[Machine] Fatimah was in a state of post-childbirth bleeding, and she used to cleanse herself in a designated place. She would then come out with a paler complexion. Umm Salamah, the wife of the Messenger of Allah, consulted her about this matter. The Prophet ﷺ said to her: "Wait for the days of your regular menstruation or the days of your usual bleeding, then leave praying during those days and cleanse yourself aside from that, and make ablution with a cloth and continue to pray."

[Machine] Fatimah was in a state of postpartum bleeding and she would cleanse herself from it by washing. She would then come out while still having a yellowish and reddish discharge. Umm Salamah, the wife of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , asked her for consultation. He said, "She should wait for the duration of her menses, during which she discontinues prayer and continues to cleanse herself with the exception of that. She may then pray." So I said to Sulayman bin Yasar, "Does her husband approach her during this period?" He replied, "We only say what we have heard."
