[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "When you hear those who praise others excessively, throw dust on their faces."  

الطبراني:١٧٧٧٩ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلْمٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ يُونُسَ اللُّؤْلُؤِيُّ ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ عَلَى عُثْمَانَ وَعِنْدَهُ الْمِقْدَادُ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ الْكِنْدِيُّ فَأَثْنَى الرَّجُلُ عَلَى عُثْمَانَ فِي وَجْهِهِ فَمَا زَالَ الْمِقْدَادُ يَحْثُو عَلَى الرَّجُلِ التُّرَابَ حَتَّى اسْتَتَرَ عُثْمَانُ بِمُطَرَفٍ مِنْ خَزٍّ ثُمَّ قَالَ الْمِقْدَادُ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِذَا سَمِعْتُمُ الْمَدَّاحِينَ فَاحْثُوا فِي وُجُوهِهِمُ التُّرَابَ»
