He performed ablution and the prayer was established. He entered between Abu Bakr and Umar and stood between them. When he finished the prayer, the Prophet ﷺ said, "Qais ibn 'Asim asked me about three matters that no one else asked me about except Abu Bakr."

[Machine] "O people, fear Allah and honor your elders, for when a nation honours its elders, it is succeeded by their children. And when they honor their youth, they are supported by them. And rely on earning wealth, for it is a means of generosity and a shield against humiliation. Beware of seeking people's assistance, for it is the last earnings one can acquire. And when I die, do not cry loudly, for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was not cried upon. And bury me in a land where I will not be disturbed, in the earth of Bakr bin Wa'il, for I used to joke with them during pre-Islamic times."

[Machine] I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and when he saw me, I heard him say, "This is the master of the Arabs." He then said, "When we descended, I came to him and started talking to him." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, the wealth that I have does not have any followers from guests, and my dependents have increased." He said, "The best wealth is 40 dinars and more, and woe to those who have 200 dinars, unless they give in its messengers, emergencies, and to the poor, and slaughter their fat camels to feed the contented and the needy." I said, "O Prophet of Allah, what noble manners and good conduct!" He said, "What do you do?" I said, "The camels graze, and people come and whoever wishes takes the lead of a she-camel and takes it away." He said, "What do you do with the weak camels?" I said, "I do not give away the young or the wounded she-camels." He said, "What is more beloved to you, your wealth or the wealth of your allies?" I said, "My wealth is more beloved to me than the wealth of my allies." He said, "Then, you have from your wealth what you have eaten and exhausted, or what you have worn and worn out, or what you have given away and spent, and otherwise they gather it and give it to you." I said, "By Allah, even if they remain, I will spend their number." Al-Hasan said, "So he did, by Allah." When death approached Qays, he said, "O my sons, take advice from me. I find nothing more sincere for you than what I advise you with when I die. So, honor your elders and do not dishonor your young ones, as people will laugh at you and disrespect you. And be wary of asking, as it is the end of a person's earning. For no one asks except that his earning is left behind. And when I die, do not wail over me, as I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbidding wailing. Shroud me in the same clothes that I used to pray and fast in. And when you bury me, do not bury me in a place where anyone can see me, for there were some disputes between me and Bakr ibn Wail in the time of ignorance, and I fear they may dig me up and do things that would harm your religion and worldly affairs." Al-Hasan, may Allah have mercy on him, said, "He advised them during his life and he advised them in death."

[Machine] "O my sons, when I die, make my beard white and follow your fathers and do not make your younger ones white, for that will cause you harm when you are known by your reputations. And do not mourn me excessively, for I have heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibiting mourning. And beware of neglecting the proper management of your wealth, for it is a means of respect for the honorable and a sufficient substitute for the base. And do not give the rights of the camels to anyone except its rightful owners, and do not deprive them of their rights. And beware of any bad blood, for whatever brings you joy for a day will not harm you greatly. And be wary of the children of your enemies, for they are your enemies in the footsteps of their fathers. And when I die, bury me in a place unseen by this living creature of Bakr bin Wael, for there were disputes between me and them in the days of ignorance, and I fear they may disturb my rest and harm their worldly and your spiritual wellbeing". Then he called his arrow kit and commanded his eldest son Ali saying, "Take out an arrow from my kit". So he took it out and he said, "Break it". So Ali broke it. Then he said, "Take out two arrows". So he took them out and he said, "Break them". So Ali broke them. Then he said, "Take out three arrows". So he took them out and he said, "Break them". So Ali broke them. Then he said, "Take out thirty arrows". So he took them out and he said, "Tie them tightly with a string". So he tied them. Then he said, "Break them". But he couldn't break them. Then he said, "O my sons, this is how you are when you are united, and this is how you are when you are divided". Then he started saying... (the translation is not provided)

They called them "al-Fijar" because they committed immoral acts and indulged in things that were forbidden. Between the Year of the Elephant and the construction of the Kaaba, there were fifteen years, and between the construction of the Kaaba and the Prophet's mission, there were five years. Our Prophet ﷺ was sent when he was forty years old.

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and Abu Bakr set out, disguised from the Quraysh. They passed by a shepherd, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Has a male sheep mated with any of your sheep?" He replied, "No, but there is a sheep that has been exhausted." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Bring it to me." So he brought it to him, and he touched its udder, invoked blessing upon it, milked it, and gave Abu Bakr some milk. Then he milked it again and gave the shepherd some milk. Afterwards, he drank from it and said to the shepherd, "By Allah, I have never seen anyone like you. Who are you?" The man asked, "If I tell you, will you keep it a secret?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Yes." The man then said, "I am Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah." The shepherd said, "You, whom the Quraysh claim to be a sorcerer?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Yes, they say that." The shepherd then said, "Verily, I bear witness that you are the Messenger of Allah, and no one could do what you have just done, except a Messenger. Can I follow you?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Not today, but when you hear that we have appeared, come to us." So the man came to the Prophet ﷺ after his arrival in Madinah.

Saad responded secretly, then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said the same greeting again, and Saad responded secretly. This happened three times. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ left, and Saad followed him. Saad said, "O Messenger of Allah, I used to hear your salaam, so I responded secretly to increase the salaam for us." The guest of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ then went away, and Saad ordered for the place to be washed, so it was washed and he performed ghusl. Then he was given a dyed cloth by a woman, and he covered himself with it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his hands and said, "O Allah, bless the family of Saad ibn Ubada with your prayers and mercy." Then he ate some food, and when he wanted to leave, Saad brought a donkey to him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ mounted it and said to Saad, "O Qais, accompany the Messenger of Allah." Saad refused, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Either you ride or you leave." So I left.
