22. Chapter of Qāf (Male)
[Machine] "There is no god but Allah. This spot will be stained with the blood of Muslims, something that has never been stained by any spot on Earth." Qais became angry and said, "Do you not know, O Abu Ishaq, that this is from the knowledge of the unseen that Allah has entrusted to me?" Ka'b said, "There is nothing on Earth except that it is written in the Torah, which Allah revealed to Moses, what will happen and what will come out of it until the Day of Judgment." Muhammad bin Yazid asked, "Who is Qais bin Kharsha?" A man from Kais replied, "You don't know him, even though he is a man from your land?" Muhammad bin Yazid said, "By Allah, I don't know him." The man said, "Qais bin Kharsha came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'I pledge allegiance to you on what has come to you from Allah and on speaking the truth.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'O Qais, if the life span extends for you, that rulers will come after me who you cannot speak the truth along with them.' Qais said, 'By Allah, I will not pledge allegiance to you on anything except that I fulfill it.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Then nothing will harm you.' Qais criticized Ziyad and his son Ubaydullah bin Ziyad and sent a message to him saying, 'Are you the one who fabricates lies against Allah and His Messenger?' Ziyad said, 'No, but if you want, I can inform you of who fabricates lies against Allah and His Messenger, those who abandon the actions of the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger."
[Machine] The position of Qais bin Saad with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was similar to the position of a police officer with a prince.
[Machine] When the Prophet arrived in Mecca, Qais ibn Saad was ahead of him, holding a position similar to that of a police officer. The Prophet spoke to Qais to redirect him from the place he had taken, fearing that he might proceed forward onto something, and he diverted him from doing so.
[Machine] That Qais bin Sa'd Al-Ansari, who was a companion of the Messenger of Allah, wanted to perform Hajj. He shaved one side of his head, and when he saw that his Hady (sacrificial animal) had been trifled with, he halted and performed Umrah instead.
[Machine] I was with Qais ibn Saad, and he had served the Prophet ﷺ for ten years. He performed ablution and wiped over his socks, and I don't forget the mark of his finger on the socks because they were new.
[Machine] "By Allah, I did not sleep last night nor did I say so because of it. So, accompany me to Qais ibn Sa’d and we will talk to him about my brother." So, they went to him and talked to him. Qais said, "Is there anything that Sa'd has spent that I will never repay? But I bear witness to both of you that my share belongs to him."
[Machine] As for a matter that Saad divided and concluded, I will not return to it. But my share of it, I said, is based on the highest Book of Allah, did he divide it? He said, "No, we do not find them dividing except based on the Book of Allah."
