22. Chapter of Qāf (Male)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ visited us in our house and greeted us, saying, "Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah." Saad responded secretly, then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said the same greeting again, and Saad responded secretly. This happened three times. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ left, and Saad followed him. Saad said, "O Messenger of Allah, I used to hear your salaam, so I responded secretly to increase the salaam for us." The guest of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ then went away, and Saad ordered for the place to be washed, so it was washed and he performed ghusl. Then he was given a dyed cloth by a woman, and he covered himself with it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his hands and said, "O Allah, bless the family of Saad ibn Ubada with your prayers and mercy." Then he ate some food, and when he wanted to leave, Saad brought a donkey to him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ mounted it and said to Saad, "O Qais, accompany the Messenger of Allah." Saad refused, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Either you ride or you leave." So I left.

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ came to us in the market and said, "O merchants, this market is contrary to an oath, so purify it with charity."
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out to the market and said, 'O traders, indeed this market is attended by idle talk and false oaths, so purify it with charity.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us in the market while we were being called by the brokers. He gave us a name that was better than what we had named ourselves. He said, "O merchants, indeed, this buying and selling of yours is tainted with swearing and idle talk, so purify it with charity."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us in the market while we were selling slaves in the city and we called ourselves brokers. He called us by a better name than what we called ourselves and said: "O merchants, this trade is accompanied by buying and swearing, so purify it with charity."
[Machine] We used to trade in the city and we used to call ourselves merchants. Then the Messenger of Allah came to us and gave us names that were better than the names we had given ourselves. He said, "O traders, this trade involves idle talk and swearing, so purify it with some charity."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us while we were selling in the market, and we called ourselves brokers. He said, "O merchants, indeed your market is mixed with idle talk, so purify it with charity or something from charity." And the wording is according to the hadith of Ali ibn Al-Jaad.
[Machine] About Qais ibn Abi Ghazdah, he said, "They used to be called brokers."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us while we were trading and said, "O merchants, indeed this type of transaction is accompanied by falsehood and swearing, so purify it with charity."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to the merchants while they were being called by a name other than their own, and he said, "O merchants, beware that your buying and selling may involve deceit and false oaths, so purify it with something from charity." And the wording of this hadith is from the narration of Hajjaj.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us while we were buying and selling in the market. He said, "O traders!" The people became happy and gathered around him. We used to be called brokers, and he was the first to call us traders. He said, "Indeed, the devil and sin are present in the transaction, so purify your business transactions with charity."
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us while we were transacting in 'Aqiq (a type of precious stone) and we used to call ourselves as middlemen. So, he gave us a name that was better than the name we had given ourselves. He said, 'O group of traders, this trade involves swearing and lying, so purify it with some charity.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us while we were called the merchants and said to us, "O group of merchants, indeed, the buying and selling that you engage in involves swearing oaths and the presence of the devil, so purify it with charity."
[Machine] We used to trade in the market in the city and call ourselves merchants. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us and gave us a better name than what we used to call ourselves. He said, "O merchants, this trade involves falsehood and swearing, so mix it with some charity." By "mix it," he meant to combine it.
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: 'O merchants, buying and selling is attended by swearing and lying, so cleanse it with charity.'"
