[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: 'O merchants, buying and selling is attended by swearing and lying, so cleanse it with charity.'"  

الطبراني:١٦٠٧٠ – حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي غَرَزَةَ قَالَ كُنَّا نُسَمَّى بِالْمَدِينَةِ السَّمَاسِرَةَ فَقَالَ

رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَا مَعْشَرَ التُّجَّارِ الْبَيْعُ يَحْضُرُهُ الْحَلِفُ وَالْكَذِبُ فَشُوبُوهُ بِالصَّدَقَةِ»

"At the time of the Messenger of Allah we used to be called Samasir (brokers). The Messenger of Allah came to us when we were selling and called us by a name that was better than that. He said: 'O merchants (Tujjar), this selling involves lies and (false) oaths, so mix some charity with it.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3797)   

أحمد:١٦١٣٤ – حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ جَامِعِ بْنِ أَبِي رَاشِدٍ وَعَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي غَرَزَةَ قَالَ

كُنَّا نُسَمَّى السَّمَاسِرَةَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَتَانَا بِالْبَقِيعِ فَقَالَ يَا مَعْشَرَ التُّجَّارِ فَسَمَّانَا بِاسْمٍ أَحْسَنَ مِنْ اسْمِنَا إِنَّ الْبَيْعَ يَحْضُرُهُ الْحَلِفُ وَالْكَذِبُ فَشُوبُوهُ بِالصَّدَقَةِ
