[Machine] He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying to Ali when he appointed him as his successor during the Battle of Tabuk: "Are you not satisfied to be to me like Harun was to Musa, except that there will be no prophet after me?" Abu Abdullah reported that this hadith was narrated by Aamir ibn Sa'd from his father, without the narration of Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib.
[Machine] Muawiyah said to Saad ibn Abi Waqas, "What prevented you from insulting Ali ibn Abi Talib?" Saad replied, "I do not insult him as long as I remember three things that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said. He said, 'It would be more beloved to me than the red camels if I were to take Ali, his sons, and Fatimah, and enter them under my cloak.' Then he said, 'These are my family and the people of my household.' And I do not insult him as long as I remember when he left him behind in a battle and said, 'Did you leave me with the children and the women?' He replied, 'Do you not want to be to me like Aaron was to Moses, except that there is no prophethood?' And I do not insult him as long as I remember the day of Khaybar when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'I will give this flag to a man who loves Allah and His Messenger, and Allah will grant victory through him.' So, we kept asking, 'Where is Ali?' They said, 'He has sore eyes.' He was called and he came. He spat in his eyes, then he handed him the flag. Allah granted him victory, and by Allah, Muawiyah did not utter a single word of what he mentioned until he left the city."

[Machine] Ali went out with the Prophet ﷺ until they reached Thaniyyat al-Wada' and he wanted to conquer Tabuk. Ali complained and said, "Will you leave me with the children?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "Are you not pleased to be to me in the position of Harun to Musa, except for Prophethood?"

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Ali during the Battle of Tabuk, "You are to me what Harun was to Musa, except that there will be no prophet after me." Abu 'Abd al-Rahman, Shu'bah, Ahfadh, and Laith considered this hadith weak, but Aisha narrated it.
[Machine] That Ali went out with the Prophet ﷺ until they arrived at Thaniyyat al-Wada' intending to go to the Battle of Tabuk. Ali complained, saying, "Will you leave me behind with the women and children?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Are you not pleased that you have the same position with me as Harun had with Musa, except that there is no prophethood after me?"

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said to Ali, "You are to me as Harun was to Musa." Israel reported from Abdullah bin Shareek, from Al-Harith bin Malik, from Saad.
[Machine] Sa'd ibn Malik said, "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went on his red camel for battle and left Ali behind. Ali came until he caught up with the camel's reins and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, the Quraish claim that you left me only because you consider me burdensome and dislike my company.' Ali then cried, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called out to the people, 'Is there anyone among you who has a mount for Ali?' O son of Abu Talib, wouldn't you be pleased to have a position with me like that of Harun with Musa, except that there is no prophet after me?' Ali said, 'I am pleased with Allah and His Messenger.'"

[Machine] I met Fatimah, the daughter of Ali, when she was 80 years old. I asked her, "Do you remember anything from your father?" She replied, "No, but Asma bint Umays told me that she heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying to Ali: 'You are to me like Aaron was to Moses, except that there will be no prophet after me.'"

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gathered - or the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called - Banu ‘Abdul-Muttalib, among whom were some people all of whom liked to eat lamb and drink large amounts of water. He made a mudd of food for them, and they ate until they were full. And the food remained as it was, as if it had not been touched. Then he called for a vessel, and they drank until their thirst was quenched, and the drink remained as it was, as if it had not been drunk from. Then he said: ʿO Banu ʿAbdul-Muttalib, I have been sent to you in particular and to all the people in general. You have seen this sign. Which of you will swear allegiance to me, pledging to be my brother and companion?” Not one of them stood up for him, but I [‘Ali] stood up, and I was the youngest of the people. He said: ʿSit down.” He said that three times, and each time I stood up for him and he said to me, ʿSit down.ʿ Then the third time he put his hand on mine. (Using translation from Aḥmad 1371)

O uncle, O uncle. ‘Ali took her by the hand and said to Fatimah ؓ , Here is your cousin, look after her. ‘Ali, Zaid and Jaʿfar disputed concerning her. Ali said: I took her and she is the daughter of my paternal uncle. Jaʿfar said: She is the daughter of my paternal uncle and her maternal aunt is married to me, Zaid said:She is the daughter of my brother. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruled that she be given to her maternal aunt and said: ʿThe maternal aunt is like the mother.ʿ Then he said to ‘Ali: ʿYou are of me and I am of you.” And he said to Ja’far: ʿYou resemble me in appearance and attitude.” And he said to Zaid: ʿYou are our brother and our freed slave.ʿ ‘Ali ؓ said to him. He said to himself, "The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, 'Nobody will convey my message except me or someone from my own family.'"
when the Prophet came back from the Umrah of Al-Jirranah, he sent Abu Bakr to lead the Hajj. We wnet the him until, when he was in Al-Urj, the Iqamah for Subh was said, and he stood up to say the Takbir while he heard the grunting of a camel behind him, and he did not say the Takbir. He said: "This is the grunting of the camel of the Messenger of Allah has had second thoughts about the Hajj, and may be he is here, and we will pray with him." But it was 'Ali on the camel. Abu Bakr said to him: "(Have you come) as a leader or as messenger?" He said: "No, as a messenger, sent by the Messenger of Allah with a declaration of innocence to recite it to the people in the stations of Hajj. So we came to makkah and one day before the day of At-Tarwiyah Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, stood up and addressed the people telling them about their rituals. When he finished, Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, stood up and recited the declaration of innocence to the people until he finished it. Then we went out with hm and on the day of Arafat. Abu Bakr stood up and addressed people, telling them about rituals. When he finished, Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, stood up and recited the declaration of innocence to the people until he finished it. Then on the day of Sacrifice, we departed (Ifadah) and when Abu Bakr came back, eh addressed the people, telling them about their departure (Ifadah), sacrifice and rituals. When he finished, Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, stood up and recited the declaration of innocence to the people until he finished it. On the first day of An-Nafr (The 12th of Dhul-Hijjah), Abu Bakr stood up and addressed the people, telling them how to offer their sacrifice and how to stone the Jamrat, and teaching them their rituals. When he had finished, "Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, stood up and recited the declaration of innocence to the people until he finished it. (Daif) Abu Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasai) said: Ibn Khuthaim is not strong in Hadith, and I only narrated this so it would not be considered to be from Ibn Juraij from Abu Az-Zubai. And we did not write it except from Ishaq bin Rahuyah bin Ibrahm. And yahya bin Saeed Al-Qattan did not abandon the narrations of Ibn Khuthaim, or dod Abdur-Rahamn. However, Ali bin Al-Madini said: "Ibn Khuthaim is Munkar in Hadith," and Ali bin Al-Madini is more knowledgeable of Hadith. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2993)

[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from the Farewell Pilgrimage and camped at Ghadir Khumm, he ordered for the assembly of camel saddles. Then he said, "It seems that I have been called and I have answered. I have left among you two weighty things, one of them being greater than the other: the Book of Allah and my family, the people of my household. Look how you will treat them after me, for they will never separate until they meet me at the pond." Then he said, "Indeed, Allah is my Master and I am the guardian of every believer." After that, he took the hand of Ali and said, "Whoever's master I am, Ali is also his master. O Allah, be a friend to those who befriend him and an enemy to those who oppose him." Then I asked Zaid, "Did you hear this from the Messenger of Allah?" He replied, "There was no one at the assembly who did not see it with his own eyes and hear it with his ears."

[Machine] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ sent us on a military expedition and appointed Ali as a leader over us. When we returned, we asked, "How did you find the companionship of your leader?" Whether it was I who complained against him or someone else, I raised my head and realized that the face of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had turned red. He said, "Whoever I am a leader for, then Ali is his leader."

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ's face changed and he said, 'O Buraydah, am I not more deserving of the believers than themselves?' I said, 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' He said, 'Whoever I am his master, then Ali is his master.'"

[Machine] Zaid bin Arqam stood up when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived and praised Allah and spoke highly of Him. Then he said, "Do you not know that I am closer to every believer than his own self?" They said, "Yes, indeed. We testify that you are closer to every believer than his own self." He said, "Then whoever I am his Mawla (master), Ali is also his Mawla." He took the hand of Ali.

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard saying, "Whoever I am his guardian, then Ali is his guardian. Stand up, twelve of you, and bear witness."
[Machine] Five or six of the companions of the Prophet ﷺ testified that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever I am his Mawla (master), then Ali is his Mawla (master) too."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard saying on the day of Ghadeer Khumm, "Whoever I am his master, then Ali is his master. O Allah, befriend those who befriend him and be an enemy to those who are his enemies." So six people stood up from one side of the pulpit and six from the other side and testified that they heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying that. Shurayh said, "I asked Abu Ishaq if he had heard Al-Bara' bin Azib narrating it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ." He said, "Yes."

that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ dispatched an army and he put 'Ali bin Abi Talib in charge of it. He left on the expedition and he entered upon a female slave. So four of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ scolded him, and they made a pact saying: "[If] we meet the Messenger of Allah ﷺ we will inform him of what 'Ali did." When the Muslims returned from the journey, they would begin with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and give him Salam, then they would go to their homes. So when the expedition arrived, they gave Salam to the Prophet ﷺ, and one of the four stood saying: "O Messenger of Allah! Do you see that 'Ali bin Abi Talib did such and such." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ turned away from him. Then the second one stood and said as he said, and he turned away from him. Then the third stood before him, and said as he said, and he turned away from him. Then the fourth stood and said as they had said. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ faced him, and the anger was visible on his face, he said: "What do you want from 'Ali?! What do you want from 'Ali?! What do you want from 'Ali?! Indeed 'Ali is from me, and I am from him, and he is the ally of every believer after me." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3712)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me with Khalid bin Al-Walid to Yemen, and he sent Ali on another army. He said, "If you two meet, Ali will be in charge of the people. But if you separate, each one of you will be responsible for his own group." We encountered the Bani Zaid from the people of Yemen and the Muslims prevailed over the polytheists. We killed the warriors and captured their offspring. Ali selected a slave girl from the captives for himself and Khalid bin Al-Walid wrote about it to the Prophet ﷺ . The Prophet ﷺ then commanded me to deliver the letter to him. When Ali received it, the face of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ changed. I said, "This is the place of refuge. You sent me with a man and commanded me to obey him. I have conveyed what I was sent with." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Buraydah, do not be hostile towards Ali. Verily, Ali is from me and I am from him, and he is your leader after me."

Indeed, Allah supports those who support him and opposes those who oppose him."
[Machine] We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the way to Mecca while he was heading towards it. When we reached Ghadeer Khumm, the people stopped and those who had advanced returned, and those who had lagged behind caught up. When the people gathered around him, he said, "O people, have I conveyed the message?" They said, "Yes." He said, "O Allah, bear witness." He said this three times. Then he said, "O people, who is your guardian?" They said, "Allah and His Messenger." They said this three times. Then he took Ali's hand and raised it and said, "Whoever I am his guardian, then Ali is his guardian. O Allah, be a supporter to those who support him and an enemy to those who oppose him."
49.32 [Machine] Encouragement to Love Ali and Mentioning the Prophet's Prayer ﷺ for Those who Love him and his Supplication against Those who Hate him
[Machine] No one among the people was more hated to me than Ali ibn Abi Talib until I loved a man from the Quraysh whom I only loved out of hatred for Ali. So that man was sent on a mission with some cavalry, and I accompanied him, not out of love for him, but out of hatred for Ali. He was taken as a captive, and he wrote to the Prophet ﷺ to send someone to redeem him. So Ali was sent to us, and among the captives was a woman who was one of the finest captives. When Ali ransomed him, that woman became part of his share. Then he ransomed again, and she became part of the Prophet's household. Then he ransomed again, and she became part of the family of Ali. He came to us with his head dripping, and we said, "What is this?" He said, "Did you not see that woman? She became part of the Prophet's household. Then she became part of the family of Ali, and I stumbled upon her." So he wrote and sent me as a witness to his letter to the Prophet ﷺ . When he said "Ali said," I started praising him and he said "truthful," and I said, and he said "truthful," and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ held my hand and said, "Do you hate Ali?" I said yes. He said, "Do not hate him, and if you love him, then increase your love for him. By the One in whose hand is my soul, the portion of Ali's family in the fifth is better than the finest captive." And after the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , no one was dearer to me than Ali. Abdullah ibn Buraydah said, "By Allah, there is no one in the narration between me and the Prophet ﷺ except my father."

[Machine] On the day of Ghadir Khumm, the Prophet ﷺ heard saying, "Indeed, Allah is the Guardian of the believers, and I am the guardian of whoever I am his guardian. O Allah, support whoever supports him and oppose whoever opposes him." Sa'id said, "He stood next to me with six men." Zaid bin Yuthayi' said, "He stood by me with six men." Amr ad-Dhu al-Marr said, "I love whoever he loves and I hate whoever he hates." And the narration proceeds, narrated by Isra'il from Abu Ishaq ash-Shaybani from Amr ad-Dhu al-Marr. "I love "

[Machine] I witnessed Ali reciting in the open field, asking the companions of Muhammad (PBUH): "Which one of you heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) say on the day of Ghadir Khumm?" So some people stood up and testified that they heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) say: "Whoever I am his master, then Ali is his master. O Allah, be the supporter of whoever supports him, and be the enemy of whoever opposes him, and love whoever loves him, and hate whoever hates him, and help whoever helps him."

"The Unlettered Prophet informed me (saying) that none but a believer would love me and none but a hypocrite would hate me." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 114)
'Ali said: "The Unlettered Prophet [SAW] made a covenant with me, that none but a believer would love me, and none but a hypocrite would hate me." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5018)
