the Prophet ﷺ said, "A Muslim cannot be the heir of a disbeliever, nor can a disbeliever be the heir of a Muslim."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَرِثُ الْمُسْلِمُ الْكَافِرَ وَلاَ الْكَافِرُ الْمُسْلِمَ

A Muslim is not entitled to inherit from a non-Muslim, and a non-Muslim is not entitled to inherit from a Muslim.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَرِثُ الْمُسْلِمُ الْكَافِرَ وَلاَ يَرِثُ الْكَافِرُ الْمُسْلِمَ

The Prophet ﷺ as saying: A Muslim may not inherit from an infidel nor an infidel from a Muslim.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَرِثُ الْمُسْلِمُ الْكَافِرَ وَلاَ الْكَافِرُ الْمُسْلِمَ

"The Muslim does not inherit from the disbeliever, nor the disbeliever from the Muslim." Another chain reports a similar narration.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Ali ibn Husayn ibn Ali from Umar ibn Uthman ibn Affan from Usama ibn Zayd that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A muslim does not inherit from a kafir."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَرِثُ الْمُسْلِمُ الْكَافِرَ

[AI] From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said, "A Muslim does not inherit from a disbeliever, nor does a disbeliever inherit from a Muslim." Adh-Dhahabi remained silent about this in his summary.

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَرِثُ الْمُسْلِمُ الْكَافِرَ وَلَا الْكَافِرُ الْمُسْلِمَ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

The Prophet ﷺ said, "A Muslim is the one who avoids harming Muslims with his tongue and hands. And a Muhajir (emigrant) is the one who gives up (abandons) all what Allah has forbidden." (Using translation from Bukhārī 10)

عَنِ النَّبِي ﷺ قال أَسْلَمُ سَالَمَهَا اللَّهُ وَغِفَارٌ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهَا

The Prophet ﷺ as saying: A Muslim may not inherit from an infidel nor an infidel from a Muslim. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2909)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ «لَا يَرِثُ الْكَافِرُ الْمُسْلِمَ وَلَا الْمُسْلِمُ الْكَافِرَ وَلَا يَتَوَارَثُ أَهْلُ مِلَّتَيْنِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said about wiping (during ablution): "For the traveler, three days and for the resident, one day."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ فِي الْمَسْحِ «لِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَيَوْمٌ لِلْمُقِيمِ»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ allowed three days and nights for the traveller and one day and night for one who is not travelling (i.e., with regard to wiping over the khuffain or leather slippers) (Using translation from Aḥmad 1126)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ»

[AI] On the authority of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , he said, "A Muslim is a brother to another Muslim."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «الْمُسْلِمُ أَخُو الْمُسْلِمِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A Muslim does not inherit from a disbeliever."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَرِثُ مُسْلِمٌ كَافِرًا»
