Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is neither 'Adwa (no contagious disease is conveyed to others without Allah's permission) nor Tiyara, but an evil omen may be in three a woman, a house or an animal."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ عَدْوَى وَلاَ طِيَرَةَ وَالشُّؤْمُ فِي ثَلاَثٍ فِي الْمَرْأَةِ وَالدَّارِ وَالدَّابَّةِ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no 'Adwa, nor Tiyara, nor Hama, nor Safar."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ عَدْوَى وَلاَ طِيَرَةَ وَلاَ هَامَةَ وَلاَ صَفَرَ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "there is neither 'Adwa nor Tiyara, and an evil omen is only in three: a horse, a woman and a house."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ عَدْوَى وَلاَ طِيَرَةَ إِنَّمَا الشُّؤْمُ فِي ثَلاَثٍ فِي الْفَرَسِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ وَالدَّارِ

There is no transitive disease, no ill omen, and bad luck is lound in the house, or wife or horse. Note: The majority of scholars interpret this to mean that these things in and of themselves do not transmit or cause harm through supernatural or hidden means but that Allah is ultimately in control and any fearful superstition around these is false.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ عَدْوَى وَلاَ طِيَرَةَ وَإِنَّمَا الشُّؤْمُ فِي ثَلاَثَةٍ الْمَرْأَةِ وَالْفَرَسِ وَالدَّارِ

The Prophet ﷺ said: There is no hamah, no infection and no evil omen; if there is in anything an evil omen, it is a house, a horse, and a woman.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُولُ لاَ هَامَةَ وَلاَ عَدْوَى وَلاَ طِيَرَةَ وَإِنْ تَكُنِ الطِّيَرَةُ فِي شَىْءٍ فَفِي الْفَرَسِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ وَالدَّارِ

“There is no ‘Adwa, no omen, no Hamah and no Safar.”*

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ عَدْوَى وَلاَ طِيَرَةَ وَلاَ هَامَةَ وَلاَ صَفَرَ

The Prophet ﷺ said: There is no hamah, no infection and no evil omen; if there is in anything an evil omen, it is a house, a horse, and a woman. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3921)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا عَدْوَى وَلَا طِيَرَةَ وَلَا هَامَ فَإِنْ تَكُ الطِّيَرَةُ فِي شَيْءٍ فَفِي الْمَرْأَةِ وَالْفَرَسِ وَالدَّارِ»
