[Machine] Abdullah ibn Ja'far used to dye his hair with henna.  

الطبراني:١٣٨٣٢ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ الْبَرْقِيُّ قَالَ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ هِشَامٍ قَالَ ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ

«كَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ يَخْضِبُ بِالْحِنَّاءِ»

البيهقي:١٣٩٥١ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ثنا يُونُسُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ بِنْتِ عَلِيٍّ وَامْرَأَةِ عَلِيٍّ ثُمَّ مَاتَتْ بِنْتُ عَلِيٍّ فَتَزَوَّجَ عَلَيْهَا بِنْتًا لِعَلِيٍّ أُخْرَى وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ
