[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited us from conducting transactions in the mouths of streets and selling something yet to be delivered.  

الطبراني:١٣٥٤٦ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ السَّقَطِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

«نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ نَتَلَقَّى الْبُيُوعَ فِي أَفْوَاهِ الطُّرُقِ وَأَنْ يَبِيعَ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ»

The Prophet ﷺ forbade the meeting (of caravans) on the way and the selling of goods by an inhabitant of the town on behalf of a desert dweller.

the Messenger of Allah forbade artificially inflating prices, meeting traders on the way, and for a town-dweller to sell for a desert-dweller." (Sahih ) (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4497)   

أحمد:٩٢٢٢ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنِ التَّلَقِّي وَأَنْ يَبِيعَ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ  

ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ الْحَاضِرَ قَدْ زُجِرَ عَنْ أَنْ يَبِيعَ لِلْبَادِي وَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ بِالْمُهَاجِرِ

ibnhibban:4962 – Abū Yaʿlá > ʿAlī b. al-Jaʿd > Ṣakhr b. Jūwayriyah > Nāfiʿ > Ibn ʿUmar

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited selling a product that is not in the possession of the seller and said, "Do not engage in present transactions."  

ابن حبّان:٤٩٦٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا صَخْرُ بْنُ جُوَيْرِيَةَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَبِيعَ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ وَقَالَ «لَا تَلَقُّوا الْبُيُوعَ»
