32. Chapter of Alif (Female)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ permitted it, so enter upon her and ask her. So, we entered upon her and found a large, elderly woman who said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ has permitted it."
[Machine] Abdullah ibn Muslimah al-Qa'nabi narrated to us that his father told him, from Hisham ibn Urwah, from his father, from Asma bint Abi Bakr who said: My mother came to me while she was still a polytheist during the time of the Quraysh when they made a treaty with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and included her in it. So, I asked the Prophet ﷺ , "O Messenger of Allah, my mother came to me and she desires to maintain ties with her, should I do so?" He said, "Yes, maintain ties with your mother."
[Machine] I heard Asmaa, the daughter of Abu Bakr, say: "My mother came from Makkah to Madinah during the truce of Quraysh, while she was still a polytheist. So I asked the Messenger of Allah, 'Should I maintain ties with her even though she is a non-believer?' The Prophet of Allah, ﷺ , said to her, 'Yes, maintain ties with her.'"
[Machine] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, my mother has come to me, desiring and fearing. Should I maintain ties with her?" He said, "Yes, maintain ties with her."
[Machine] "My mother came to me while she was desiring and still a polytheist. So I asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, my mother has come to me while she is desiring and still a polytheist. Should I maintain ties with her?' The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, 'Yes, maintain ties with her.'"
[Machine] "He heard Asma bint Abi Bakr saying, 'My mother came to me while she was desiring to remain in the time of Quraish, so I asked the Messenger of Allah, 'Should I maintain ties with her?' He said, 'Yes.'"
I prepared the journey-food for Messenger of Allah ﷺ in Abu Bakr's house when he intended to emigrate to Medina. I could not find anything to tie the food-container and the water skin with. So, I said to Abu Bakr, "By Allah, I do not find anything to tie (these things) with except my waist belt." He said, "Cut it into two pieces and tie the water-skin with one piece and the food-container with the other (the subnarrator added, "She did accordingly and that was the reason for calling her Dhatun-Nitaqain (i.e. twobelted woman)). (Using translation from Bukhārī 2979)
[Machine] "When I gave birth to Abdullah ibn Zubair, the Prophet ﷺ was brought to him, and he wiped his hand over him and named him Abdullah. Later, when he was seven or eight years old, he came to pledge allegiance to the Prophet ﷺ. Zubair ordered him to do so, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ smiled when he saw him coming forward and pledged allegiance to him."
[Machine] "I ate horse meat during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ."
We slaughtered a horse (by Nahr) during the lifetime of Messenger of Allah ﷺ and ate it. (Using translation from Bukhārī 5512)
[Machine] The sun was eclipsed during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up to pray. He stood for a long time, then he bowed for a long time, then he raised his head, then he prostrated, then he stood for a long time, then he raised his head, then he prostrated, then he stood slightly lower than the previous standing, then he bowed slightly lower than the previous bowing, then he raised his head, prostrated, and then addressed the people saying, "There is nothing that I have not seen until Paradise and Hell." Then he said, "It has been revealed to me that you will be tested in your graves soon, similar to the trial of the False Messiah."
[Machine] "That you set aside this body so that we may bury it?" So he said, "Indeed, we will have a need for it later." So she said to her guardians, "Take him by the hand, for I bear witness that I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying, 'A liar and a mischief-maker will come out of Thaqif.'" So see which one you are." So he said, "O Allah, let him be a mischief-maker, not a liar."
[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ chopped off the date palm tree of Zubayr."
[Machine] Zaid bin Amr bin Nufail used to stand by the Kāba during the times of ignorance and press his back against it, saying, "O people of Quraysh, I do not find anyone on this earth who follows the religion of Ibrahim except me." He had abandoned worshiping idols and eating what was sacrificed to them. He used to set free the captive animals that were brought for slaughtering. Amr bin Zaid bin Nufail said...

[Machine] "It was reported that she used to distribute to her people, both the free people among them and the slaves, a measure of wheat or a sa'a (a unit of measurement) of dates in the quantity that they would sustain themselves with, during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ."
