A man from the people said, "How amazing is this Hadith!" Sufyan Ath-Thawri said, "What is amazing about it? Has not your Prophet ﷺ informed you directly from your Lord? He said, "The Day the Spirit and the angels will stand in rows, they will not speak except for whom the Most Merciful permits, and he will say what is correct. That will be the True Day." And He also said, "There is no good in much of their private conversation, except for those who enjoin charity or that which is right or conciliation between people. And whoever does that seeking means to the approval of Allah, then We are going to give him a great reward."

[Machine] Zubayr ibn Bakkar said: "Um Salama, before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , was with Abu Salama, Abdullah ibn Abd al-Asad, and she gave birth to Salama, Umar, and Zainab, then she passed away. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then became responsible for her."
[Machine] He heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , say: "No Muslim is afflicted with a calamity and says 'Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return. O Allah, I seek recompense for my calamity from You. O Allah, replace it for me with something better than it,' except that Allah will replace it for him with something better." So when Abu Salamah passed away, Umm Salamah said: "Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return. O Allah, I seek recompense for my calamity in Abu Salamah from You. O Allah, replace him for me with someone better." So I kept saying to myself that someone better than Abu Salamah would come, until the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , proposed to me. So I said: "I am afflicted and I am possessive, and I am old." The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "As for being old, I am older than you. As for being possessive, I supplicate to Allah to remove it from you. And as for children, they are in the hands of Allah and His Messenger." So Umar bin Abu Salamah married me to him.

[Machine] When the Prophet ﷺ proposed to me, Umm Salamah, I said to him, "I have three issues: I am an elderly woman, I am a woman who has been divorced, and I am a woman with intense jealousy." The Prophet ﷺ said, "As for age, I am older than you, and as for children, they belong to Allah and His Messenger, and as for jealousy, I will supplicate to Allah to remove it from you." So the Prophet ﷺ married her. When he entered upon her, he said, "Indeed, with you and your family, there is honor upon me. And I have not married any of my wives for the purpose of fulfilling desires, but if I were to marry for the purpose of fulfilling desires, I would marry women such as yourself."
