[Machine] He entered upon Umm Habiba and she poured him a saucer of sour milk. He called for water and rinsed his mouth and she said to him, "O son of my sister, don't you perform ablution for indeed the Prophet ﷺ said, 'Perform ablution from what changed or touched fire.'"  

الطبراني:١٩٨٦٧حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا سُفْيَانَ بْنَ الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَهُ

أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ فَسَقَتْهُ قَدَحًا مِنْ سَوِيقٍ فَدَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَمَضْمَضَ فَقَالَتْ لَهُ يَا ابْنَ أُخْتِي أَلَا تَتَوَضَّأُ فَإِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «تَوَضَّئُوا مِمَّا غَيَّرَتْ أَوْ مَسَّتِ النَّارُ»

AbuSufyan ibn Sa'id ibn al-Mughirah reported that he entered upon Umm Habibah who presented him a glass of sawiq (a drink prepared with flour and water) to drink. He called for water and rinsed his mouth. She said: O my cousin, don't you perform ablution? The Prophet ﷺ said: Perform ablution after eating anything cooked with fire, or he said: anything touched by fire. Abu Dawud said: The version of al-Zuhri has: O my paternal cousin.
