[Machine] "He entered upon Umm Habiba, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, and she offered him a cup of drink made from Sawiq. He called for water and performed ablution, so she said to him, 'O nephew of mine, why don't you perform ghusl (ritual bath)? Verily, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Perform ablution with water that has touched fire or been altered."' "  

أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَسَقَتْهُ قَدَحًا مِنْ سَوِيقٍ فَدَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَمَضْمَضَ فَقَالَتْ لَهُ يَا ابْنَ أَخِي أَلَا تَتَوَضَّأُ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ تَوَضَّئُوا مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ أَوْ غَيَّرَتْ  

"Perform Wudu' O son of my sister! For the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Perform Wudu' from that which has been touched by fire.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 180)   

أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ فَسَقَتْهُ سَوِيقًا ثُمَّ قَامَ يُصَلِّي فَقَالَتْ لَهُ تَوَضَّأْ يَا ابْنَ أَخِي فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ تَوَضَّئُوا مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ  

[Machine] He entered upon Umm Habiba and she offered him a drink, then he got up to pray. She said to him, "O my cousin, perform ablution, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Perform ablution from the place in which fire has touched.'"  

أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ فَسَقَتْهُ سَوِيقًا ثُمَّ قَامَ يُصَلِّي فَقَالَتْ لَهُ تَوَضَّأْ يَا ابْنَ أَخِي فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «تَوَضَّئُوا مِمَّا مَسَّتْهُ النَّارُ»  

[Machine] He informed him that he entered upon his aunt, Umm Habibah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, and she offered him a drink. She then said, "O my son, perform ablution, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Ablution extinguishes what has been touched by fire.'"  

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى خَالَتِهِ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَخَاضَتْ لَهُ سَوِيقًا فَشَرِبَهُ فَقَالَتْ يَا بُنَيَّ تَوَضَّأْ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الْوُضُوءُ مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ»  

[Machine] He entered upon Umm Habiba and she poured him a saucer of sour milk. He called for water and rinsed his mouth and she said to him, "O son of my sister, don't you perform ablution for indeed the Prophet ﷺ said, 'Perform ablution from what changed or touched fire.'"  

أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ فَسَقَتْهُ قَدَحًا مِنْ سَوِيقٍ فَدَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَمَضْمَضَ فَقَالَتْ لَهُ يَا ابْنَ أُخْتِي أَلَا تَتَوَضَّأُ فَإِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «تَوَضَّئُوا مِمَّا غَيَّرَتْ أَوْ مَسَّتِ النَّارُ»  

"Perform Wudu' O son of my sister! For the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Perform Wudu' from that which has been touched by fire.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 180)
