Messenger of Allah ﷺ was upon the mountain of Hira, ' and there were along with him Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman. 'Ali, Talha, 'Zubair, that the mountain stirred; thereupon Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Be calm, there is none upon you but a Prophet, a Fiddle (the testifier of truth) and a Martyr.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ عَلَى حِرَاءٍ هُوَ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ وَعَلِيٌّ وَطَلْحَةُ وَالزُّبَيْرُ فَتَحَرَّكَتِ الصَّخْرَةُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ اهْدَأْ فَمَا عَلَيْكَ إِلاَّ نَبِيٌّ أَوْ صِدِّيقٌ أَوْ شَهِيدٌ

Hira! be calm, for there is none upon you but a Prophet, a Siddiq, a Shahid, and there were upon it Allah's Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr, 'Umar, Uthman, 'Ali, Talha, Zubair, Sa'd b. Abi Waqqas (Allah be pleased witli them).

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ عَلَى جَبَلِ حِرَاءٍ فَتَحَرَّكَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ اسْكُنْ حِرَاءُ فَمَا عَلَيْكَ إِلاَّ نَبِيٌّ أَوْ صِدِّيقٌ أَوْ شَهِيدٌ وَعَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ وَعَلِيٌّ وَطَلْحَةُ وَالزُّبَيْرُ وَسَعْدُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ ؓ

'I bear witness that I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Stand firm, O (mountain of) Hira', for there is no one upon you but a Prophet, a Siddiq or a martyr.' " Then he listed them as follows: "The Messenger of Allah, Abu Bakr, 'Umar, 'Uthman, 'Ali, Talhah, Zubair, Sa'd, Ibn 'Awf and Sa'eed bin Zaid."

أَشْهَدُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنِّي سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ اثْبُتْ حِرَاءُ فَمَا عَلَيْكَ إِلاَّ نَبِيٌّ أَوْ صِدِّيقٌ أَوْ شَهِيدٌ وَعَدَّهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ وَعَلِيٌّ وَطَلْحَةُ وَالزُّبَيْرُ وَسَعْدٌ وَابْنُ عَوْفٍ وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ

[AI] "That the Prophet ﷺ said: ‘Dwell in Hira, for there is none upon you except a Prophet, or a truthful person, or a martyr.’ He said: ‘And upon it were the Prophet ﷺ , Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali, Talhah, Zubair, Saad, Abdur Rahman bin Awf and Said bin Zaid.’"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ اسْكُنْ حِرَاءُ فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْكَ إِلا نَبِيٌّ أَوْ صِدِّيقٌ أَوْ شَهِيدٌ قَالَ وَعَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ وَعَلِيٌّ وَطَلْحَةُ وَالزُّبَيْرُ وَسَعْدٌ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ

[AI] Al-Mughira ibn Shuba gave a sermon and spoke against Ali, so Saeed ibn Zayd came out and said: Do you not marvel at this? He is insulting Ali! I bear witness about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that we were on Hira or Uhud, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Be still, Hira or Uhud, for upon you are only a truthful one or a martyr." Then the Prophet ﷺ named the ten. He named Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali, Talha, Zubayr, Saad, Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf, and he named himself, Saeed.

خَطَبَ الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ شُعْبَةَ، فَنَالَ مِنْ عَلِيٍّ، فَخَرَجَ سَعِيدُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، فَقَالَ: أَلَا تَعْجَبُ مِنْ هَذَا؟ يَسُبُّ عَلِيًّا! أَشْهَدُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّا كُنَّا عَلَى حِرَاءٍ أَوْ أُحُدٍ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: «اثْبُتْ حِرَاءُ أَوْ أُحُدُ، فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْكَ صِدِّيقٌ أَوْ شَهِيدٌ». فَسَمَّى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ الْعَشْرَةَ، فَسَمَّى أَبَا بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرَ، وَعُثْمَانَ، وَعَلِيًّا، وَطَلْحَةَ، وَالزُّبَيْرَ، وَسَعْدًا، وَعَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ، وَسَمَّى نَفْسَهُ سَعِيدًا.

[AI] Ali is one of the people of Paradise. I said, "And what is that?" He said, "He is among the nine. And if I wanted to name the tenth, I would name him." He said, "Hiraa' shook." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Stay steady, Hiraa', for there is no one on you but a Prophet, or a truthful person, or a martyr." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "And Abu Bakr, Umar, Ali, Uthman, Talha, Zubair, Abdul Rahman ibn Awf, Saad, and I, meaning Sa'id himself."

أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ عَلِيًّا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ قُلْتُ وَمَا ذَاكَ؟ قَالَ هُوَ فِي التِّسْعَةِ وَلَوْ شِئْتُ أَنْ أُسَمِّيَ الْعَاشِرَ سَمَّيْتُهُ قَالَ اهْتَزَّ حِرَاءٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اثْبُتْ حِرَاءُ فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ عَلَيْكَ إِلا نَبِيٌّ أَوْ صِدِّيقٌ أَوْ شَهِيدٌ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعَلِيٌّ وَعُثْمَانُ وَطَلْحَةُ وَالزُّبَيْرُ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ وَسَعْدٌ وَأَنَا يَعْنِي سَعِيدٌ نَفْسَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was sitting on Hira' with Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman. The mountain moved, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Calm down, Hira', for you have nothing on you except a prophet, a truthful friend, or a martyr."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ جَالِسًا عَلَى حِرَاءٍ وَمَعَهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ فَتَحَرَّكَ الْجَبَلُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اثْبُتْ حِرَاءُ؛ فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ عَلَيْكَ إِلَّا نَبِيٌّ أَوْ صِدِّيقٌ أَوْ شَهِيدٌ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "There are ten in Paradise," and he mentioned Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali, Talha, Zubair, Abdur Rahman ibn Awf, Saad ibn Abi Waqqas, Saeed ibn Zaid, and Abdullah ibn Masood.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَشْرَةٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ فَذَكَرَ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَعُثْمَانَ وَعَلِيًّا وَطَلْحَةَ وَالزُّبَيْرَ وَعَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ وَسَعْدَ بْنَ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ وَسَعِيدَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ وَعَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ

[AI] That the Prophet ﷺ ascended to Hira, accompanied by Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali, Talha, and Zubayr. The mountain moved with them, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Stay, Hira, for upon you is a prophet, a sincere friend, or a martyr."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَعِدَ حِرَاءَ وَمَعَهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ وَعَلِيٌّ وَطَلْحَةُ وَالزُّبَيْرُ فَتَحَرَّكَ بِهِمُ الْجَبَلُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «اسْكُنْ حِرَاءُ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْكَ نَبِيٌّ أَوْ صِدِّيقٌ أَوْ شَهِيدٌ»

أَنَّ النَّبيَّ ﷺ كَانَ عَلَى حِرَاءٍ فَتَحَرَّكَ فَقَالَ مَا عَلَيْكَ إلاَّ نَبِيٌّ أو صديق أو شهيد وَكان عليه النَّبِيّ ﷺ وَأبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وعُثمَان وَعَلِيٌّ ؓ أَجْمَعِينَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صعد على جبل ومعه أبو بَكْر وعمر وعثمان وعلي وطلحة والزبير فتحرك بهم الجبل فقال اسكن إنما عليك نبي أو صديق أو شهيد ولا نعلم روى جبير بن نفير عن أبي هريرة إلا هذا الحديث

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was on Mount Hira and he moved and struck with his foot and said, "Be calm, Hira, for there is none upon you but a Prophet or a Siddiq or a martyr." And these people were with him: Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali, Talha, Zubair, Saad, Abdur Rahman ibn Awf, and myself, meaning himself.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ عَلَى حِرَاءٍ فَتَحَرَّكَ فَضَرَبَ بِرِجْلِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «اسْكُنْ حِرَاءُ فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ عَلَيْكَ إِلَّا نَبِيٌّ أَوْ صِدِّيقٌ أَوْ شَهِيدٌ» وَهَؤُلَاءِ الْقَوْمُ مَعَهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ وَعَلِيٌّ وَطَلْحَةُ وَالزُّبَيْرُ وَسَعْدٌ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ وَأَنَا يَعْنِي نَفْسَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was on Mount Hira and the mountain began to shake. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Stay firm, O Hira, for there is nothing upon you but a prophet, a truthful one or a martyr." كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى حِرَاءَ فَتَزَلْزَلَ الْجَبَلُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اثْبُتْ يَا حِرَاءُ فَمَا عَلَيْكَ إِلَّا نَبِيٌّ أَوْ صِدِّيقٌ أَوْ شَهِيدٌ» وَعَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ وَعَلِيٌّ وَطَلْحَةُ وَالزُّبَيْرُ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ وَسَعْدٌ وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ نُفَيْلٍ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Establish prayer for the sake of Allah, for there is no obligation upon you except a Prophet or a truthful person or a martyr.' Upon him are the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and Abu Bakr and Umar and Uthman and Ali and Talhah and Zubayr and Abdur-Rahman bin Awf and Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas and me."

رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اثْبُتْ حِرَاءُ فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْكَ إِلَّا نَبِيٌّ أَوْ صِدِّيقٌ أَوْ شَهِيدٌ» وَعَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ وَعَلِيٌّ وَطَلْحَةُ وَالزُّبَيْرُ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ وَسَعْدُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ وَأنا

[AI] Saeed ibn Zaid bears witness to the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying: "Establish Hira, for there is no one upon whom it is incumbent except a prophet, a truthful person, or a martyr." The Prophet, ﷺ , mentioned Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali, Talha, Zubair, Saad, Abdur-Rahman ibn Awf, Saeed ibn Zaid, and Hilal ibn Yasaf, who did not hear it from Abdullah ibn Zalim.

سَعِيدُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ أَشْهَدُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ لَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «اثْبُتْ حِرَاءُ فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ عَلَيْكَ إِلَّا نَبِيٌّ أَوْ صِدِّيقٌ أَوْ شَهِيدٌ» وَعَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ وَعَلِيٌّ وَطَلْحَةُ وَالزُّبَيْرُ وَسَعْدُ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ هِلَالُ بْنُ يَسَافٍ لَمْ يَسْمَعْهُ مِنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ ظَالِمٍ

"عَن سَعِيدِ بْنِ زَيدِ بنِ عَمرْوِ بن نوفل قَالَ: أَشْهَدُ عَلَى التِّسْعَةِ أَنَّهُمْ فِى الْجَنَّةِ، وَلَوْ شَهِدْتُ عَلَى العَاشِر لَم آثَم، قِيلَ: وكيَفَ ذاكَ؟ قَالَ: كُنَّا معَ رَسُولِ الله ﷺ بِحِرَاءٍ فَتَحرَّكَ فَضَرَبَهُ بِرِجْلِهِ، وَفِى لَفْظٍ بِكَفِّهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ: اثْبُتْ حِرَاءُ فإنَّهُ ليَس عَلَيْكَ إلَّا نَبِىٌ أوْ صِدِّيقٌ أَوْ شَهِيدٌ قِيلَ: وَمَنْ هُمْ؟ قَالَ: رَسُولُ الله ﷺ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرُ، وَعُثْمانُ، وَعَلِىٌّ، وَطلْحَةُ، والزُّبَيرُ، وَسَعْدٌ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَن بن عَوْفٍ، قِيلَ: فَمَنِ الْعَاشِرُ؟ قَالَ: أنَا".

"عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالَ: كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى حِرَاءَ فَذَكرَ عَشْرةً فِى الْجَنَّةِ، أبُو بَكْرٍ، وَعمرُ، وَعُثْمانُ، وَعَلىٌّ، وَطَلْحَةُ، والزُّبَيْرُ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحَمنِ بنُ عَوْفٍ، وَسَعدُ بْنُ مَالكٍ، وَسَعيدُ بْنُ زَيْدِ، وَعَبدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ".

" عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ أَبِى سَرْحٍ قَالَ: بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ الله ﷺ فِى عَشَرَةٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ مَعَهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعثمَانُ وَعَلِىٌّ وَالزُّبيْرُ وَطَلحَةُ، وَغَيْرُهُمْ عَلَى جَبَلِ حِرَاءَ إِذْ تَحَرَّكَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ : اسْكُنْ حِرَاءُ، فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْكَ نَبِىٌّ أَوْ صِدِّيقٌ أَوْ شَهِيدٌ".

"عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى حِرَاءَ فَتَزَلْزَلَ الْجَبَلُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اثْبُتْ حِرَاءُ فَمَا عَلَيْكَ إِلَّا نَبِىٌّ، أَوْ صدِّيقٌ، أَوْ شَهِيدٌ، وَعَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ وَأَبُو بَكْر، وَعُمرُ، وَعُثْمَانُ، وعَلىٌّ، وَطَلَحَةُ، والزُّبَيْرُ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ، وَسَعدُ بْنُ أبِى وَقَّاصٍ، وَسَعِيدُ بْن زَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَرو بْنِ نُفَيْلٍ".

"عَنْ أبى هُريرَة أَنَّ رسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ على حِراء، فتحرك فقال رسول الله ﷺ اسْكُنْ حراءُ، فما عَليْك إلا نبى أوْ صديقٌ، وَكَانَ عليْه النَّبىُّ ﷺ وأَبو بكرٍ وعُمرُ".
