"The pen has been lifted from three: From the sleeper until he wakes up, from the minor until he grows up, and from the insane until he comes back to his senses or recovers."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ رُفِعَ الْقَلَمُ عَنْ ثَلاَثٍ عَنِ النَّائِمِ حَتَّى يَسْتَيْقِظَ وَعَنِ الصَّغِيرِ حَتَّى يَكْبُرَ وَعَنِ الْمَجْنُونِ حَتَّى يَعْقِلَ أَوْ يَفِيقَ  

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿI have been given four thing that which was not given to any of the other Prophets.” I have been given the keys of the Earth, I have been named Ahmad, the dust has been made a means of purification for me and my ummah has been made the best of nations.ʿ  

سَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ رُفِعَ الْقَلَمُ عَنْ ثَلاثَةٍ عَنِ النَّائِمِ حَتَّى يَسْتَيْقِظَ وَعَنِ الصَّغِيرِ حَتَّى يَكْبَرَ وَعَنِ الْمُبْتَلَى حَتَّى يَعْقِلَ  

[Machine] Several companions of the Prophet Muhammad, including Shaddad ibn Aws and Thawban, informed me that the Prophet Muhammad, ﷺ , said, "The pen has been lifted from the minor until he grows up, from the sleeping until he wakes up, from the insane until he becomes sane, and from the oath-taker who is doomed to perish."  

أَخْبَرَنِي غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْهُمْ شَدَّادُ بْنُ أَوْسٍ وَثَوْبَانُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «رُفِعَ الْقَلَمُ فِي الْحَدِّ عَنِ الصَّغِيرِ حَتَّى يَكْبُرَ وَعَنِ النَّائِمِ حَتَّى يَسْتَيْقِظَ وَعَنِ الْمَجْنُونِ حَتَّى يُفِيقَ وَعَنِ الْمَعْتُوهِ الْهَالِكِ»  

"The pen has been lifted from three: From the sleeper until he wakes up, from the minor until he grows up, and from the insane until he comes back to his senses or recovers." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3432)  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «رُفِعَ الْقَلَمُ عَنْ ثَلَاثَةٍ عَنِ النَّائِمِ حَتَّى يَسْتَيْقِظَ وَعَنِ الصَّغِيرِ حَتَّى يَكْبِرَ وَعَنِ الْمَجْنُونِ حَتَّى يَعْقِلَ أَوْ يُفِيقَ»  

"رُفِعَت الأَقْلامُ عن ثَلاثَة: عن الصغيرِ حَتَّى يَعْقِلَ, وَعن النَّائِمِ حَتَّى يَسْتَيْقِظَ، وعن الْمَجْنُونِ حَتَّى يَعْقِلَ".
