"We were with Sa'eed bin Al-'Asi in Tabaristan, and Hudhaifah bin Al-Yaman was with us. He said: 'Which of you offered the fear prayer with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?' Hudhaifah said: 'I did.' So Hudhaifah stood and the people formed two rows behind him, one row behind him and one row facing the enemy. He led those who were behind him in praying one rak'ah, then they went and took the place of the others, and the others came and he led them in praying one rak'ah, and they did not make it up."  

أَيُّكُمْ صَلَّى مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَلاَةَ الْخَوْفِ فَقَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ أَنَا فَقَامَ حُذَيْفَةُ فَصَفَّ النَّاسُ خَلْفَهُ صَفَّيْنِ صَفًّا خَلْفَهُ وَصَفًّا مُوَازِيَ الْعَدُوِّ فَصَلَّى بِالَّذِي خَلْفَهُ رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ هَؤُلاَءِ إِلَى مَكَانِ هَؤُلاَءِ وَجَاءَ أُولَئِكَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً وَلَمْ يَقْضُوا  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the prayer of fear in a land of the Banu Sulaym tribe. The people lined up behind him, forming two rows: one row facing the enemy, and another row behind him. He prayed with the row that followed him a unit of prayer, then the same group turned around to face the other group, while the second group turned around to face the first group. He then prayed another unit of prayer with them.  

صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ صَلاةَ الْخَوْفِ بِذِي قَرَدٍ أَرْضٍ مِنْ أَرْضِ بَنِي سُلَيْمٍ فَصَفَّ النَّاسُ خَلْفَهُ صَفَّيْنِ صَفٌّ مُوَازِي الْعَدُوِّ وَصَفٌّ خَلْفَهُ فَصَلَّى بِالصَّفِّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ نَكَصَ هَؤُلاءِ إِلَى مَصَافِّ هَؤُلاءِ وَهَؤُلاءِ إِلَى مَصَافِّ هَؤُلاءِ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً أُخْرَى  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , performed the fear prayer in a land of Qard from the land of Bani Sulaym. The people lined up behind him in two rows, with one row equal to the enemy and another row behind him. He prayed one unit with the row behind him, then these people went back to the position of those people, and those people came forward to the position of these people, and he prayed another unit with them.  

صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَاةَ الْخَوْفِ بِذِي قَرَدٍ أَرْضٍ مِنْ أَرْضِ بَنِي سُلَيْمٍ فَصَفَّ النَّاسُ خَلْفَهُ صَفَّيْنِ صَفًّا يُوَازِي الْعَدُوَّ وَصَفًّا خَلْفَهُ فَصَلَّى بِالصَّفِّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ نَكَصَ هَؤُلَاءِ إِلَى مَصَافِّ هَؤُلَاءِ وَهَؤُلَاءِ إِلَى مَصَافِّ هَؤُلَاءِ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً أُخْرَى  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , performed the prayer of fear on a land of the Banu Sulaym tribe. [Machine] "The Messenger of Allah stood up and prayed with them. Then a row stood behind him and a row opposing the enemy, and he prayed with them one rak'ah. Then those (in the back row) went to the place of those (in the front row), and those (in the front row) came forward and he prayed with them one rak'ah, then he turned away."  

«قَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ فَقَامَ صَفٌّ خَلْفَهُ وَصَفٌّ مُوَازٍ الْعَدُوَّ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ هَؤُلَاءِ إِلَى مَصَفِّ هَؤُلَاءِ وَجَاءَ هَؤُلَاءِ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ»

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «صَلَّى بِذِي قَرَدَ فَصَفَّ النَّاسَ خَلْفَهُ صَفَّيْنِ صَفًّا خَلْفَهُ وَصَفًّا مُوَازِي الْعَدُوِّ فَصَلَّى بِالَّذِينَ خَلْفَهُ رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ هَؤُلَاءِ إِلَى مَكَانِ هَؤُلَاءِ وَجَاءَ أُولَئِكَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً وَلَمْ يَقْضُوا»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the prayer of fear, so he arranged the rows behind him and the rows parallel to the enemy. He prayed with them one unit of prayer, then these people went to the place of those people, and those people came to the place of these people, so he prayed with them one unit of prayer, then he gave the salaam.  

صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَاةَ الْخَوْفِ فَصَفَّ صَفًّا خَلْفَهُ وَصَفًّا مُوَازِي الْعَدُوِّ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ هَؤُلَاءِ إِلَى مَصَافِّ هَؤُلَاءِ وَجَاءَ هَؤُلَاءِ إِلَى مَصَافِّ هَؤُلَاءِ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ  

" عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: صَلَّى رَسُولُ الله ﷺ صَلاَةَ الخَوْفِ بِذِى قَرَد - أَرْضٍ مِنْ أرْضِ بَنِى سُلَيْمٍ - فَصَفَّ النَّاسَ خَلفَهُ صَفَّيْنِ، صَفٌّ خَلفَهُ، وَصَفٌّ يُوَازِى العَدُوَّ، فَصَلَّى بِالصَّفَ الَّذِى يَلِيه رَكعَةً، ثُمَّ نَهَضَ هَؤُلاَءِ إِلَى مَصَافِّ هَؤُلاَءِ، وَهَؤُلاَءِ إِلَى مَصَافَ هَؤُلاَءِ، فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَة".
