21. Marriage
٢١۔ كِتَابُ النِّكَاحِ
Abu Hurairah said: “The Messenger of Allah forbade Shighar.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1884)
«نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الشِّغَارِ»
Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with them) reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited Shighar. (Using translation from Muslim 1415c)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «نَهَى عَنِ الشِّغَارِ»
"There is no 'bringing', no 'avoidance' and no Shighar in Islam, and whoever robs, he is not one of us." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3335)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا جَلَبَ وَلَا جَنَبَ وَلَا شِغَارَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ وَمَنِ انْتَهَبَ نُهْبَةً فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no bringing close, nor staying away, nor doubt." Abu Abdullah said, "This is a mistake, and the correct statement is the one that precedes it."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا جَلَبَ وَلَا جَنَبَ وَلَا شِغَارَ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا خَطَأٌ وَالصَّوَابُ الَّذِي قَبْلَهُ
