Bilal was ordered to repeat the wording of the Adhan for prayers twice, and to pronounce the wording of the Iqama once except "Qad-qamat-is-salat".

وَأَنْ يُوتِرَ الإِقَامَةَ إِلاَّ الإِقَامَةَ

Bilal was commanded (by the Holy Prophet) to repeat the phrases twice in Adhan, and once in lqama.

أَنْ يَشْفَعَ الأَذَانَ وَيُوتِرَ الإِقَامَةَ

Anas reported; Bilal was commanded to pronounce Adhan in double pairs and IQAMAH in single pairs. Hammam added in his version; “except IQAMAH”.

أَنْ يَشْفَعَ الأَذَانَ وَيُوتِرَ الإِقَامَةَ زَادَ حَمَّادٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ إِلاَّ الإِقَامَةَ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded Bilal to say the phrases of the Adhan twice and the phrases of the Iqamah once."

إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَمَرَ بِلاَلاً أَنْ يَشْفَعَ الأَذَانَ وَأَنْ يُوتِرَ الإِقَامَةَ

"They looked for something by means of which they could call out informing of (the time of) the prayer. Then Bilal was commanded to say the phrases of the Adhan twice and the phrases of the Iqamah once."

الْتَمَسُوا شَيْئًا يُؤْذِنُونَ بِهِ عِلْمًا لِلصَّلاَةِ فَأُمِرَ بِلاَلٌ أَنْ يَشْفَعَ الأَذَانَ وَيُوتِرَ الإِقَامَةَ

"Bilal was commanded to say the phrases of the Adhan twice and the phrases of the Iqamah once."

أَنْ يَشْفَعَ الأَذَانَ وَيُوتِرَ الإِقَامَةَ

أَنْ يَشْفَعَ الْأَذَانَ وَيُوتِرَ الْإِقَامَةَ

[AI] "To pronounce the call to prayer and establish the congregational prayer, I spoke to Ayoub about it, and he said nothing but the congregational prayer."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَمَرَ بِلَالًا أَنْ يَشْفَعَ الْأَذَانَ وَيُوتِرَ الْإِقَامَةَ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered Bilal to give the call to prayer and perform the qiyam (night prayer). The two shaykhs did not mention this context, but it is correct according to their condition.

"عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: كان بَلالٌ يَشْفَعُ الأَذَانَ وَيُوتِرُ الإِقَامَةَ".

"عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: الإِقَامَةُ وَاحِدَةٌ، كَذَلِكَ أَذَانُ بِلاَلٍ".

"عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أنَّ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ أمَرَ بِلاَلًا أنْ يَشْفَعَ الأذَانَ، وَيُوتِرَ الإِقَامَةَ".
