I asked Zaid bin Al-Arqam, "In how many Ghazawat did you take part in the company of Allah's Apostle?" He replied, "Seventeen." I further asked, "How many Ghazawat did the Prophet ﷺ fight?" He replied, "Nineteen."

سَأَلْتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ ؓ كَمْ غَزَوْتَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ سَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ قُلْتُ كَمْ غَزَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ قَالَ تِسْعَ عَشْرَةَ

I fought fifteen Ghazawat in the company of the Prophet.

غَزَوْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ

That he fought sixteen Ghazawat with Allah''s Apostle.

غَزَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ سِتَّ عَشْرَةَ غَزْوَةً

It has been narrated by Buraida who heard it from his father that he joined the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in sixteen military campaigns

أَنَّهُ قَالَ غَزَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ سِتَّ عَشْرَةَ غَزْوَةً

We went on seven expeditions with Messenger of Allah ﷺ and ate locusts.

غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ سَبْعَ غَزَوَاتٍ نَأْكُلُ الْجَرَادَ

I heard Ibn Abi Awfa say when I asked him about (eating) locusts: I went on six or seven expeditions along with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and we ate them (locusts) along with him.

غَزَوْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ سِتَّ أَوْ سَبْعَ غَزَوَاتٍ فَكُنَّا نَأْكُلُهُ مَعَهُ

That 'Abdullah bin Abi Awfa was asked about locust. He said: "I participated in six military expeditions with the Messenger of Allah (saws, (and) we ate locust."

غَزَوْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ سِتَّ غَزَوَاتٍ نَأْكُلُ الْجَرَادَ

We participated in seven military expeditions with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, (and) we ate locust.

غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ سَبْعَ غَزَوَاتٍ نَأْكُلُ الْجَرَادَ

"We went on seven campaigns with the Messenger of Allah and we used to eat locusts."

غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ سَبْعَ غَزَوَاتٍ فَكُنَّا نَأْكُلُ الْجَرَادَ

"I asked 'Abdullah bin Abu Awfa about killing locusts and he said: I went on six campaigns with the Messenger of Allah hand we ate locusts."

غَزَوْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ سِتَّ غَزَوَاتٍ نَأْكُلُ الْجَرَادَ

We went on seven expeditions with Messenger of Allah ﷺ and ate locusts. (Using translation from Muslim 1952a)

«غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ سَبْعَ غَزَوَاتٍ نَأْكُلُ الْجَرَادَ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ undertook fifty campaigns.

غَزَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ غَزْوَةً

He replied, "Seventeen battles." I asked further, "Which was the first battle the Prophet ﷺ fought?" He replied, "The Battle of 'Ushayrah."

لَقِيتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ فَقُلْتُ كَمْ غَزَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ تِسْعَ عَشْرَةَ قُلْتُ كَمْ غَزَوْتَ أَنْتَ مَعَهُ؟ قَالَ سَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ غَزْوَةً قَالَ فَقُلْتُ فَمَا أَوَّلُ غَزْوَةٍ غَزَا؟ قَالَ ذَاتُ الْعُشَيْرِ أَوِ الْعُشَيْرَةِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ conducted nineteen battles, and I participated with him in seventeen battles.

«غَزَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِحْدَى وَعِشْرِينَ غَزْوَةً وَشَهِدْتُ مَعَهُ تِسْعَ عَشْرَةَ غَزْوَةً وَكَانَ آخِرُ غَزْوَةٍ غَزَاهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ تَبُوكَ»

قَالَ غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ سَبْعَ غَزَوَاتٍ نَأْكُلُ الْجَرَادَ

[AI] "I participated in thirteen military expeditions with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."

«غَزَوْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ غَزْوَةً»

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ waged nineteen battles.

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ غَزَا تِسْعَ عَشْرَةَ»

«غَزَوْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ سَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ غَزْوَةً فَاتَتْنِي ثِنْتَانِ»

[AI] "I participated in seventeen battles with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." I asked, "How many battles did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ participate in?" He replied, "Nineteen battles."

«غَزَوْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ سَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ غَزْوَةً» قُلْتُ كَمْ غَزَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ «تِسْعَ عَشْرَةَ غَزْوَةً»

[AI] "I participated in seventeen battles alongside the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he preceded me in two of them."

«غَزَوْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ سَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ غَزْوَةً سَبَقَنِي بِغَزَاتَيْنِ»

[AI] He "went on expeditions with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in nine wars."

أَنَّهُ «غَزَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ تِسْعَ غَزَوَاتٍ»

"عن أبى إِسحاق، عن زيد بن أرقم أن رسول الله ﷺ غزا تسع عشرة، قال أبو إسحاق: فسألت زيد بن أرقم كم غزوت مع رسول الله ﷺ قال: سبع (*) عشرة".
