Seven who will be given the shade of Allah on Judgement Day
The Prophet ﷺ said, "Seven people will be shaded by Allah under His shade on the Day when there will be no shade except His. They are:
(1) a just ruler;
(2) a young person who has been brought up ˹and remains steadfast˺ in the worship of Allah,
(3) a person whose heart is attached to the mosque;
(4) two people who love each other only for the sake of Allah and they meet and part only in this cause;
(5) a man who refuses the call of a beautiful woman of nobility saying: I am afraid of Allah;
(6) a person who practices charity so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand has given; and
(7) a person who remembers Allah in seclusion and his eyes well up with tears."

That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever grants respite to an indigent or alleviates it for him, Allah will shade him on the Day of Judgement under His Throne, a Day in which there is no shade except His shade." Yahya related to me from Malik from Khubayb ibn Abd ar-Rahman al-Ansari from Hafs ibn Asim that either Abu Said al-Khudri or Abu Hurayra said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, said, 'There are seven whom Allah will shade in His shade on the day on which there is no shade except His shade: a just imam, a youth who grows up worshipping Allah, a man whose heart is attached to the mosque when he leaves it until he returns to it, two men who love each other in Allah and meet for that and part for that, a man who remembers Allah when he is alone and his eyes overflow with tears, a man who refuses the approaches of a noble, beautiful woman, saying "I fear Allah," and a man who gives sadaqa and conceals it so that his left hand does not know what his right hand gives.' [Machine] I entered the mosque of Hims and saw a circle in which there were thirty-two men from the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . Among them was a young man with dark eyes and thick eyebrows. Whenever they disagreed about something, they would ask him and he would inform them, and they would follow his guidance. I asked, "Who is this?" They replied, "This is Muadh bin Jabal." I then went to pray, intending to address some of them, but I could not speak to any of them. They left, and the next day when I entered, I saw Muadh praying by himself. I prayed beside him, and when he finished, I sat between him and the pillar. I remained silent for an hour, neither speaking to him nor being spoken to. Then I said, "By Allah, I love you for the sake of Allah, not because of any worldly gain or kinship between us." He asked, "For what reason?" I replied, "For the sake of Allah, the Most Blessed and Exalted." He then spread his wings and said, "Rejoice, if you are sincere, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Those who love one another for the sake of Allah will be seated on pulpits of light on the Day when there will be no shade except His shade. They will be envied by the Prophets and the martyrs.'" "Then I left," Ibn Mas'ud continued, "and met Ubada bin As-Samit. I informed him about what Muadh had told me, and Ubada said, 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ narrate from his Lord, the Most Blessed and Exalted, that He said, 'My love is guaranteed for those who love one another for My sake, who advise one another for My sake, who visit one another for My sake, and who spend on one another for My sake. Such people will be on pulpits of light and will be envied by the Prophets and the righteous.'"

Whenever they differed in something, they would return it to a young lad. I said to a companion sitting next to me, 'Who is this?' He said, 'This is Muadh ibn Jabal.' I came from the evening, but they did not attend. I came again the next morning, but they did not come. I was happy, and suddenly, I saw the young man praying towards a canister. I prayed behind him, and then turned towards him. He greeted, and I approached him and said, 'Indeed, I love you for the sake of Allah.' He said, 'Draw me closer.' He asked, 'How did you say it?' I said, 'Indeed, I love you for the sake of Allah.' He said, 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Those who love each other for the sake of Allah are upon pulpits of light on the Day when there is no shade except His shade.' So I informed him, and he said, "I have indeed heard this from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, regarding those who love each other for the sake of Allah, then Allah will shade them with His shade on the Day when there is no shade except His shade. And nothing is better than it." I asked, "May Allah have mercy on you, what is better than it?" He said, "I have heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'My love is worthy for those who love each other for my sake, and my love is worthy for those who frequently visit each other for my sake, and my love is worthy for those who give generously to each other for my sake.' And I do not know with which of them He began." I asked, "Who are you, may Allah have mercy on you?" He said, "I am 'Ubada ibn As-Samit'. And this is a authentic chain of narration according to the criteria of the two Shaykhs (Al-Bukhari and Muslim) and they did not exclude it." Adh-Dhahabi refrained from discussing it in his summary.
